HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS MOTHER AS WELL AS HIS TWO SISTERS, TIFFANY NICOLE JUSTICE AND KIMBERLY LEEANN JUSTICE BOTH OF JENNIES CREEK, WV. Skyler Jade Winnett
Skyler Jade Winnett, 11, passed away Jan. 23, 2009. She was a student at Crum Elementary School She was born July 2, 1997 in Floyd Co., KY to Jason Randall and Tangelia Fluty Winnett of Crum, WV.In addition to her parents, she is survived by three brothers and sisters, Sammy, Savannah, and Tyler Winnett of Kermit, WV; grandparents, Richie D. Fluty and Erma [Steve] Corpening of Kermit, WV, Shirley [Paul] McKean and Randy Winnett of Mississippi; and many friends. Funeral services will be conducted Mon., Jan. 26, 2009 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Richmond-Callaham Funeral Home. Rev. Ralph Muncy will officiate. Burial will follow in the Family cemetery in Kermit, WV. The family will receive friends at 6:00 pm Sat. and Sunday night in the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to aid in funeral expenses.

Everal Neeley, 97, of Tomahawk, KY passed away Friday, January, 23, 2009 at her home She was born June 12, 1911 at Stidham, KY to John P. and Ella [West] Hinkle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Gerald Buck Neeley; one brother, luther Oran Hinkle; and two sisters, Easter Ray and Lorraine Cassady. She is survived by four children, Phyllis Neeley and Donna Booth, Tomahawk, KY, Jack [Kim] Neeley, Suisan City, CA, and Joyce [Wayne] Buskirk, Fredricktown, OH; seven grandchildren, Greg Booth, Louisville, KY, Robin [Tim] Durbin, Fredricktown, OH, Mark [Angie] Buskirk, Fredricktown, OH, Selby [Carrie] Buskirk, Mt. Vernon, OH, Jan [ Joel] Dagang, Camarillo, CA; seven great grandchildren, Clint and Lydia Durbin, Fredricktown, OH, Chelsea and Victoria Buskirk, Mt. Vernon, OH.
Everal was a long-time member of the Sulpher Springs United Baptist Church at Tomahawk, KY and may be remembered as a former Head Start Teacher in the Tomahawk area.Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, Jan. 26, 2009 at 12:00 pm. Rev. Riley Maynard will officiate. Burial will follow in the Neeley-Robinson cemetery at Tomahawk, KY. Visitation will be after 5:00 pm Sunday, Jan. 25, 2009 at Richmond-Callaham Funeral Home.

Victoria Justice Waller Marcum
Victoria Justice Waller Marcum, 83, of Kermit, WV went home to be with the Lord Feb. 27, 2009 at, surrounded by her loving family and members of Friends of Hospice, Chaplain Mark Terry, Julie Maynard and Crystal Scott. She was the founder and mother of The Full Gospel Church of Jesus located on Jennies Creek in Kermit, WV. Victoria was born July 11, 1925in Wayne Co., WV to the late Jay and Nannie Williamson Justice. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband and father of their children, Clifford Waller; second husband, Walter Marcum; sons, Eugene “Blue” Waller, Bill Waller, and Clinton Waller; grandsons Homer Clayton Waller, Roger Walter Martin, and Heath Spaulding; and a great-granddaughter, Casey Deann Sleasman. She is survived by her children, Clifford “JC” [Sandra] Waller of Grayson, KY, Homer [Phyllis] Waller of Pataskala, Ohio, Phyllis Jean Stumbo [Sam Kingsmore] of Louisa, KY, Eula Mae Waller, Judy Waller [Sherill Jackson], and Teresa [Bo] Martin all of Grove City, Ohio, Arthena [Clarence] Marcum of Columbus, Ohio, Nannie [Arbie Jr.] Dillon and Bonnie [Mike] Newsome all of Kermit, WV., Maggie [Robert] Morgan of Naugatuck, WV., Roger Dale [Jeanie] Waller of Inez, KY; daughter-in-law, Orpha Waller of Newark, Ohio; sisters, Virginia Braggs, Myrtle Braggs, and Edna Stanley all of Kermit, WV; brothers, Leon Justice, Eugene Justice, and Wayne Justice all of Kermit, WV, and J. Arthur “Bird” Kirk
Arthur “Bird” Kirk, 74, of Lovely, KY passed away Feb. 28, 2009. He was a retired coal miner. Arthur was born June 7, 1934 in Martin County, KY to the late Everrett and Mary Maynard Kirk. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Harlan Kirk.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Kirk of Inez, KY; daughters, Tammy [Dallas] Slone, Linda [Barry] Webb, and Carolea [Eric] Mills all of Inez, KY, and Lisa [Rowdy] Kinser of Lovely, KY; sisters, Nancy Dillon, Juanita Muncy, and Lois Mills all of Lovely, KY, Pat Marcum and Tonetta Nichols both of Inez, KY; brothers, Wilburn Kirk of Lovely, Ky, Michael Kirk of Inez, KY and Everett Lynn Kirk of Lexington, KY; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Amy Lou Hooser Preece, 64, of Inez, KY went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Feb. 27, 2009 after a long illness. She was born June 9, 1944 in Martin Co., KY to the late William Bascom and Mary Maynard Hooser. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, John Glen Preece, her brother, William “Doc” Hooser, her sister Dixie Bowen, her son-in-law, Joey Kirk, and her husband Glen Ray Preece. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Kay Kirk, sisters Mae Mills and Sally Blackburn, both of Inez, a brother, Sam Muncy and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at Bethel United Baptist Church, Coldwater Rd., Inez, KY. Reverends John Goble, David Hanner, Tim McCoy, and John Patrick will officiate. Burial will follow at the Preece Family cemetery, Blacklog, KY. The family will receive friends at 5:00 pm, Sunday, March 1, 2009 and all day Monday, March 2, 2009 at the church. FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE CONDUCTED ON TUESDAY AT 1:00PM AT THE CHURCH. Duke Leon Armstrong, 70, of Kermit, WV passed away Feb. 27, 2009 in the Veteran Hospital in Huntington, WV. He was a disabled VietNam veteran who enjoyed politics and sports. Duke was born Sept. 12, 1939 in Beaumont, TX to the late Donald Leon and Josephine Salene Armstrong. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Carson Luke Armstrong. He is survived by a friend, Elaine Wiard of Kermit, WV; son Thomas Anthony [Daphne]Armstrong of Kermit, WV; daughter, Billie Jo [Jimbo] Ermalovich of Parrish, FL; grandchildren, Anthony Ermalovich, Haley Armstrong, Hannah Armstrong, and Aiden Armstrong. A memorial service will be held from 1:00-4:00 pm, Sunday, March 1, 2009 at Richmond-Callaham Funeral Home, Warfield, KY
