Bobby Lee Endicott
Bobby Lee Endicott, 67 of Buffalo Horn Road, Inez, KY passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at his home following a short illness. He was born on September 11, 1944 in Martin Co., KY; he was a son of the late Cecil and Mary Kirk Endicott. He was a retired security guard and worked for Wolf Creek Colliers Mining. He was preceded in death by his siblings; Boyd, Sam, and Larry Endicott, Madge Hopson, Jewell Endicott, and Myrtle Dyer.
Bobby is survived by his wife; Dottie Lou Mills Endicott as well as a daughter, Kimberly Ann Endicott of Inez, Ky and son, David Lee Endicott of Louisa, KY as well as 4 grandchildren; Kayla Renea Stepp, Lakin Leann Stepp, Christopher Blake Stepp, and Karen Faith Endicott. Bobby also leaves behind his brother, Billy Ray Endicott of Johnstown, OH, and two sisters; Alta Mae Marcum of Louisa, KY and Gizella Lowe of Ohio.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 2:00pm at the New Friendship United Baptist Church with Michael Marcum, David Marcum, and Brian Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in the Endicott-Marcum cemetery of Buffalo Horn Road. Visitation will be after 5pm Sunday at the Church and until time of services on Tuesday at the church. Arrangements are under the care of the Richmond-Callaham Funeral Home, Inez, KY.

FLORENCE ENGLISH, 69, OF WARFIELD, KY. passed away FRIDAY JANUARY 27, 2012 AT THE HIGHLANDS REGIONAL HOSPITAL IN PRESTONSBURG, KY. BORN TO THE LATE RASS AND MARY HARMON SCOTT, MARCH 22, 1942 IN MARTIN COUNTY, KY. FLORENCE IS preceded in death BY HER LATE HUSBAND CHAPMAN ENGLISH AND HER PARENTS AND HER BROTHER FRED SCOTT. FLORENCE IS SURVIVED BY HER THREE SONS EUGENE (PEGGY), GEORGE (CAROL), ENGLISH BOTH OF WARFIELD, KY AND RICKY (KAY) SCOTT OF INEZ, KY. ALSO FOUR BROTHERS AND THREE SISTERS ERSAL (HAZEL), OF MICHIGAN, SHELDEN (NADINE), OF AUXIER, KY HOMER (NORMA), OF WILLIAMSPORT, KY HARRY (RUTH) DEFIANCE, OHIO PARLEE MAYNARD OF BEAUTY, KY. BARBARA (GARY) PREECE OF AUXIER, KY. PATSY (KENNIS) FITCH OF LOUISA, KY. ALSO SEVERAL NIECES AND NEPHEWS. ALSO EIGHT GRANDCHILDREN AND ONE GREAT GRANDCHILD.
VISITATION WILL BE AT RICHMOND-CALLAHAM F.H. WARFIELD LOCATION, SATURDAY JANUARY 28, 2012 4PM FOR FAMILY AND 5PM UNTIL 10 PM FOR FRIENDS. FUNERAL WILL BE SUNDAY JANUARY 29, 2012 AT 1PM AT THE FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL IN WARFIELD, KY. BURIAL WILL FOLLOW IN THE WARFIELD cemetery WITH GARY MAYNARD WITH WORDS OF COMFORT.

Clyde Bennett Sparks
Clyde Bennett Sparks, 86, of Kermit, WV passed away Monday, Jan. 23, 2012 at ARH Hospital in South Williamson, KY.
He was born Nov. 13, 1925 in Clifford, KY, to the late Charlie and Jane Peters Sparks.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Mary Rose Pope Sparks, his grandson, Eric Sparks, and his brother, Proctor Sparks.
Survivors include his brothers, Fred [Thelma Jean] Sparks of Kenova, WV, Mack [Pat] Sparks of Jacksonville, FL, his sister, Elsie [Ira] Conn of Hurricane, WV; his sons, Charles [Sue] Sparks of Kermit, WV, Jim [Robin] Sparks of Richmond, VA, and Bob [Sharon] Sparks of Kenova, WV; grandchildren, Bryan, Angie, Andrea, Johnathan, and Elizabeth; great-grandchildren, Kyle, Payton, Myles, and Judah.
Clyde was a US Navy veteran, having served during WWII. He was active in his community, serving as town recorder and councilman many terms. He was a lifelong member of Kermit Masonic Lodge 167 and a member of Kermit United Baptist Church where he loved to attend and sing Bass with the church.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, Jan. 28, 2012 at the Kermit United Baptist Church with his brother Mack Sparks officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest cemetery, Kenova, WV, Pall bearers will be Bryan Sparks, Johnathan Sparks, Kyle Sparks, Jack Streets, John Kelly, and Larry Conn. Honorary Pall bearers will be Sherman [Blackie] Spaulding, Bill Belcher, Dr. J W Endicott, Matt Clovis, George Marcum, and Western Auto Employees.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-9:00 PM, Thursday, Jan 2012 at the Warfield Chapel of Richmond-Callaham Funeral Home.

Asa Amon McCoy
Asa Amon McCoy, 84, a Korean War veteran formerly of Milo, KY, passed away on January 16, 2012, at Putnam Care and Rehabilitation Center in Hurricane, WV.
Mr. McCoy was born November 2, 1927, in Martin County, KY, to the late William McKinley McCoy and Virginia Ethel McCoy (nee Spence). He is preceded in death by his brothers Wayne and Harold McCoy and his sisters, Bessie McCoy and Tennessee Fannin and his grandchildren, Charles Asa Stepp and Crystal Leigh Kelly. He is survived by his sister, Myrtle Webb and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his children, Lynda McCoy Tilley of Lexington, SC, and Amanda McCoy Parker of Hopkins, SC, and his step-children, Charles Ray Stepp of Absecon, NJ, Marilyn Rollings of Hartsville, SC, and Rebekah Abao of Pelion, SC, as well as 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be conducted on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 11:00am at the Richmond-Callaham Funeral Home, Inez Chapel with Joe Mullins officiating.

MIRANDA NOELLE PREECE
MIRANDA NOELLE PREECE, 26, BORN DEC. 5, 1985 OF TENNESSEE, FORMERLY OF INEZ, KY. passed away FEB. 23, 2012 AT HER HOME. BORN TO KEITH PREECE AND IDA KILGORE FERRELL. MIRANDA IS preceded in death BY HER GRANDDADS, ROY KILGORE AND BUDDY PREECE. MIRANDA IS SURVIVED BY HER PARENTS AND BROTHER, BRAD PREECE OF SCOTT DEPOT, WV. ALSO, GRANDMOTHERS, LUSHIE PREECE AND LOUISA KILGORE, BOTH OF INEZ, KY AND A NIECE, BRIEANN PREECE OF SCOTT DEPOT, WV. VISITATION WILL BE AT THE RICHMOND-CALLAHAM F.H., INEZ LOCATION, SUNDAY FEB. 26, 2012, 4 PM FOR FAMILY AND 6 -9 PM FOR FRIENDS. FUNERAL WILL BE HELD IN THE FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, MONDAY, FEB. 27 AT 1 PM. BURIAL WILL FOLLOW IN THE CASSIDY-KILGORE cemetery AT COLDWATER, WITH KENNY PHILLIPS OFFICIATING.

Lucille Howard Whisman
Lucille Howard Whisman, 79, of Dayton, Ohio formerly of Martin County, KY; passed away on Monday, February 27, 2012 at the Miami Valley Medical Center in Dayton, OH. She was born on July 18, 1932 in Davella, KY; she was a daughter of the late John Albert and Josie Blackburn Howard. She was preceded in death by her brother, Chester Howard and sisters, Garnett and Irene. She was a worker of the A.O. Smith Corporation and had worked in Whitecastle Corporation. Lucille will be remembered as a voice of concern and love, always ready to cook a meal, listen, or go shopping with anyone. She will be forever loved and missed by her family.
She is survived by her husband, Herbert R. Whisman of Dayton, OH as well as her 3 daughters, Linda Bachand and Brenda Ortez both of Dayton, OH and Tammy Wolf of Newport Richey, Florida, step daughter; Sherri Maleki of Cary, NC and 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers; Don Howard and Elmo Howard both of Debord, Ky and Paul Howard of Inez, KY and sisters, Joyce Moore of Lancaster, OH and Juanita Meade of Louisa, KY and Oma Goble of Debord, KY.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at 1:00pm at the Richmond-Callaham Funeral Home Inez Chapel with B. Joe Hill officiating. Burial will follow in the John Howard cemetery of Davella, KY. Visitation will be from 6-9pm Tuesday at the funeral home.

Steven Dwayne Williams
Steven Dwayne Williams, 32, of Marrowbone, WV departed this life Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012 in Wayne, WV.
He was born October 12, 1979, the son of Dewayne and Shelia Williams of Marrowbone, WV and Betty and Matthew Marcum of Logan, WV.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Helen Meade and Albert and Elizabeth Williams.
He is survived, in addition to his parents, by his wife of 14 years, Lisa Williams of Marrowbone, WV; 3 daughters, Elizabeth, Sierra and Tierra Williams all of Marrowbone, WV; 1 son, Mason Preece of Dunlow, WV; 1 sister, Kim Williams Stacy of Wayne, WV; 1 brother-in-law, Jimmy Dale Marcum, of Lovely, KY; 2 step-brothers; 2 step-sisters; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. He will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M., Thursday, March, 1, 2012 at Rose Town Church with Ken Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the Williams Family cemetery at Marrowbone, WV. Visitation will be 10 A.M. - 12 P.M. for family and 12 P.M. - close for family and friends on Wed., Feb. 29, 2012.
Arrangements are under the direction of Richmond-Callaham Funeral Home, Inez, KY.

Elder Henry "Jake" Crum
Elder Henry “Jake” Crum 86 of Van Lear, KY; went to be with his Lord on April 14, 2012 at a result of an accident. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Pansy Crum.
He was born on February 5, 1926 in Martin County, KY; he was a son of the late William Jackson and Roxann Mollette Crum.
He was a retired pipe-fitter at US Steel in Michigan. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and traveling. He was a dedicated Christian for 60 years and a member of the Middlefork United Baptist Church of Inez, KY.
Jake is survived by his loving wife; Mildred Hale Crum of Van Lear, KY as well as a son, Tim (Patty) Crum of Wyandotte, Michigan and daughter, Marietta Crum Cook of Inez, KY, 5 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Jake is also survived by 5 step-children. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Middlefork United Baptist Church with church ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Family cemetery of Crum Branch. Visitation will be after 5pm Monday and Tuesday at the Church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Richmond-Callaham Funeral Home, Inez, Ky.

Henry Bowen
Henry Bowen, 72, of Inez, Ky went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at his home. He was born on April 28, 1939 in Martin Co., KY; he was a son of the the late Curt and Lydia Johnson Bowen. Henry worked at the Richmond-Callaham Funeral Home since he was 15 years old. He was a dedicated grave digger as long as his health permitted him to do so. After that he lived at the funeral home as a night watchman and mowed grass for the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his brother, June Bowen and sister, Edith Bowen
His funeral home family is Kelly and Sara Callaham, Frank Stacy, Joe Mullins, and Ronnie Mathis. He is survived by his children; Ricky (Rebecca) Bowen of Harrisville, WV, Tina (Jimmy) Litton of Tomahawk, Steven Bowen of Tomahawk, and Sylvia (Curt) Mollett of Tomahawk, KY. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Bernard Bowen, Ricky Bowen, Angel Bowen, Cheyenne Bowen, Frank Curtis Litton, Tina Nichole Litton, Henry Anthony Litton, Goldie Litton, Austin Litton, Destiny Bowen, Shane Mollett, Natashia Mollet, and Isaiah Mollett; great-grandchildren; Shay Bowen, Curtis Taylor Litton, and Mia Vanessa Litton. He helped raise John D., Kelly, Joan, and Russ Callaham. He is survived by his brothers; Cab Bowen of Columbus, OH, Ed Bowen of Inez, Ky, Urshel Bowen of Inez, Ky, and sister, Ursie Chaffins of Inez, Ky.
As well as several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and numerous friends.
Henry's Funeral will be on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 2:00pm at the Richmond-Callaham Funeral Home, Inez Chapel with Joe Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in the Family cemetery of Cassell Branch, Inez, KY. Visitation will be from 12:00pm-2:00pm Thursday at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the care of the Richmond-Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.

Okey Ward
Okey Ward, 67, of Warfield, KY; passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at his home. Funeral services on Thursday at 12:00 noon with Ellis Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in the Maynard cemetery of Inez, KY. Visitation will be from 10:00am-12:00pm at the funeral home.

Donald Ray Setser
Donald Ray Setser, 48, of Rockhouse Mills Road, Tomahawk, KY; went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at his home. He was born on March 20, 1964 in Tomahawk, KY; he was a son of Clarence and Anna Hall Setser of Tomahawk, KY. He was a Dozer operator and a faithful member and choir leader of the Phillip Cove Freewill Baptist Church.
Donald is survived by his wife; Tina Damron Setser of Tomahawk, KY, son, Donald Matthew Setser of Charleston, SC, 1 grandson, Brothers, Clarence Jr. and James Everett Setser of Tomahawk, KY as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, April 20, 2012 at 2:00pm at the Phillip Cove Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Thomas Stacy Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Setser Family cemetery of Rockhouse Road, Tomahawk, KY. Visitation will be after 5pm on Thursday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Richmond-Callaham Funeral Home, Inez, KY.
