Gertrude Reynolds Connors, 96, of Florence, died Wednesday at Florence Park Care Center in Florence. She was a retired secretary with a New York City charity, and an artist.

Survivors include nieces, Nancy Youtsey of Ft. Mitchell and Susan Douglas of Greenville, S.C.

Services will be at noon Saturday at Highland Cemetery Chapel, Ft. Mitchell. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer's Disease Association, 644 Linn St., Cincinnati, Ohio, 45203. Allison and Rose Funeral Home, Covington, is handling arrangements.

Goldie Orr Cotton, 87, of Walton, died at 8:30 p.m. Thursday at her residence, following a long illness.

Arrangements are Pending at Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, Verona.

Thelma Elizabeth Egan Klare, 83, of Bellevue, died Thursday at her home. She was a homemaker and a member of Sacred Heart Church, Bellevue.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph H. Klare; a son, Bill Klare of Independence; daughters, Rose Gross of Alexandria, Shirley Schmitz of Villa Hills, Betty Wietholter of Cold Spring and Peggy Schultz of Independence; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Church. Visitation will be from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Dobbling Funeral Home, Belle vue. Prayers will be at 9:40 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery, Ft. Thomas. Memorials are suggested to Cincinnati Association for the Blind, 2045 Gilbert Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio 45202.

Madge Schmidt, 92, of, Latonia, died at 1:40 a.m. today at Rosedale Manor Nursing Home, Latonia.

Arrangements are pending at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, Latonia.

Paul A. Turner, 55, of Burlington, died Thursday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence.

Arrangements are pending at Stith Funeral Home, Florence.

Thomas K. Wenz Sr., 77, of Augusta, died Thursday at his home. He was a retired farmer, and a member of St. Augustine Church, Augusta, the Knights of Columbus and Northern Kentucky Right to Life.

Survivors include his wife, Irma Dean McFarland Wenz; sons, Thomas Wenz Jr., Paul Wenz and Edward Wenz, all of Augusta; a daughter, Mary Ann Hiles of Augusta; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, Augusta. Memorials are suggested to the Augusta Ministerial Association or the Bracken County Ministerial Association. Metcalfe-Hennessey Funeral Home, Augusta, is handling of arrangements.

Anne Beil, devoted volunteer

Anne E. Beil loved to be around people.

She constantly surrounded herself with family and friends, and she never made anyone feel out of place.

"She was one of the happiest people I've ever known, and she made sure everyone around her was happy," said Mrs. Beil's daughter, Connie Beil of Lighthouse Point, Fla.

"Her high school graduation class had about 35 people in it, and she still talks to about 14 of them."

Mrs. Beil, 73, of Edgewood, died at 4:15 p.m. Thursday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood.

She was a retired tax examiner for the Internal Revenue Service. After she retired, she devoted her life not only to her family, but also to people she didn't even know. Her volunteer projects included work at St. Charles Care Center and Catholic Children's Home in Ft. Mitchell.

"She went to volunteer at St. Charles Care Center so she could be with her mother," her daughter said. "After her mother died, she continued to help out down there because she just loved being there. She was a complete people person.

"When I told her that the Catholic Children's Home helped abused and neglected children, she wanted to do that as well."

Mrs. Beil was also a member of St. Pius Church in Edgewood and the National Association of Railway Business Women.

Other survivors include her husband, Paul Beil; another daughter, Patricia Royster of Bagdad, Fla.; and a brother, John McKeon of Hollywood, Fla.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Pius X Church, Edgewood. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, Ludlow. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell.

Memorials are suggested to St. Charles Care Center, 500 Farrell Drive, Covington, Ky. 41011.

Blanche Blaut, 75, of Alexandria, died at 10 a.m. Thursday at Christ Hospital, Cincinnati. She was a homemaker. A son, Robert J. Blaut Jr., died in 1969.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Blaut; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Dobbling Funeral Home, Ft. Thomas. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Alexandria Cemetery.

Survivors include sons, Emery "Bud" Cotton of Omaha, Neb., Kenneth Cotton of Hitchcock, Texas , and William "Bill" Cotton of Santa Fe, Texas ; daughters, Rosie Bertolino of Galveston, Texas , Bonnie Burden of Florence, Pearl Rogers of Santa Fe, Texas , Pauline Osborne of Pembroke, Ga., and Linda Watts of Lawrenceburg; a sister, Thelma Works of Latonia; 32 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, Verona. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Carter's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Pendleton County. Memorials are suggested to charity.

Frances Cooney Guilfoile, 87, of Maysville, died at 10:35 p.m. Thursday at Meadowview Regional Medical Center, Maysville. She was a retired postmistress for the U.S. Post Office in Mays Lick. She was a member of St. Patrick Church, Maysville. Her husband, Walter Ryan Guilfoile, preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son, John Edward Guilfoile of Mays Lick.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick Church, Maysville. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Sunday at Brell and Son Funeral Home, Maysville, with prayers at 8:30 p.m. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Maysville. Memorials are suggested to St. Patrick Church, East Third St., Maysville, Ky. 41056.

Bobbie J. Hughes, 60, of Elsmere, died at 7:45 a.m. Friday at her home. She was a homemaker and a member of Florence Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Harry Hughes; a son, Kevin J. Hughes of Colonial Heights, Va.; a daughter, Sharon Radford of Union; her mother, Tina Gladys Jump of Latonia; a sister, Betty Collins of Villa Hills; and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Floral Hills Cemetery chapel, Taylor Mill. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Florence Baptist Church, 283 Main St., Florence, Ky. 41042. Don Catchen and Son Funeral Home, Elsmere-Erlanger, is handling arrangements.

Willie Forest Lucas, 95, of St. Petersburg, Fla., formerly of Brooksville, died May 31 at St. Anthony Hospital, St. Petersburg. He was a retired metal finisher and member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, St. Petersburg.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Lucas; daughters, Juanita Jones of St. Petersburg and Marie Favaron of Moultrie, Ga.; sisters, Velma Teegarden of Maysville, Patsy Rosenfeld of Cincinnati, Irene Dawson of Alexandria, and Eileen Todd and Bertha Sparks, both of Brooksville; 12 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

Services were held in St. Petersburg, Fla. R. Williams and Son Funeral Home, St. Petersburg, handled arrangements.
