Arthur Franklin Conrad, 75, of Dry Ridge, died at 3 p.m. Saturday at his home. He was a farmer and a member of Disabled American Veterans. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. His wife, Louise Webster Conrad, died Sept. 30.

Survivors include sons, Larry Conrad of La Mirada, Calif., Garry Conrad and Ernie Conrad and Bill Conrad, all of Dry Ridge; a daughter, Margaret Jones of Falmouth; brothers, Louis "Bud" Conrad of Dry Ridge, David Lee Conrad of Erlanger, Gerald Ray Conrad of Corinth and James Larry Conrad of Williamstown; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown. Visitation will begin there at noon Tuesday. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery, Jonesville. Memorials are suggested to charity.

William M. Creekmore, 88, of Cincinnati, formerly of Newport, died at 4:15 p.m. Saturday at Deaconess Hospital in Cincinnati. He was a retired mechanic with Queen City Chevrolet and a World War II veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Hattie Johnson Creekmore.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Newport. Visitation will begin there at 9 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate.

Kate Barnett Evans, 70, of Erlanger, died at 4:34 p.m. Friday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include sons, Anthony R. Evans of Erlanger, Michael A. Evans of Covington, Randy L. Evans of Cincinnati, Martin L. Evans of Florence and Jeff V. Evans of Carrollton; a daughter, Diane Kay McFetters of Erlanger; a sister, Cora Carabajal of Fontana, Calif.; 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be at noon Tuesday at Allison and Rose Funeral Home, Covington. Visitation will begin there at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Cremation will be at Cincinnati Cremation Co.

Delbert William Floyd, 83, of Anderson, Ind., formerly of Independence, died Friday at his home. He was a retired assembler with J. H. Day Co. and a member of Amity Baptist Church, Independence. His first wife, Flonnie Mae Roy Floyd, died in 1989.

Survivors include his wife, Geneva Lawson Floyd; a daughter, Joyce Fuston of Bowling Green, Fla.; sons, William Dale Floyd of Ryland Heights and Charles Albert Floyd of Panama City Beach, Fla.; 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence.

Wanda Ruth Gooden, 69, of Cincinnati, formerly of Harrison County, died Friday at her home. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Howard Gooden; a daughter, Beverly Bush of Cincinnati; sons, Charles Gooden of Columbia, Jerry Gooden and Terry Gooden, both of Cincinnati; a brother, Amos Hill of the state of Washington ; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Services were Sunday at Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth. Burial was in Turner Ridge Cemetery, Pendleton County.

Mary "Frankie" Grall, 69, of Florence, died Saturday at her home. She was a homemaker and a member of Greenview Baptist Church, Florence, and Hills of Kentucky Dulcimers club.

Survivors include her husband, Harold Grall; daughters, Susan G. Browning of Burlington and Cyndee L. Pedersen of Virginia Beach, Va.; brothers, Edward C. Brown and M. Scott Brown, both of Lexington; and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Greenview Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 tonight at Stith Funeral Home, Florence. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill. Memorials are suggested to St. Elizabeth Home-Health Hospice, 401 E. 20th St., Covington, Ky. 41014.

Charles E. Hampton, 82, of Covington, died Sunday at his home.

Mildred M. Hester, 82, of Brooksville, died at 5:15 a.m. Sunday at Robertson County Health Care Center, Mount Olivet. She was a homemaker and a member of Lenoxburg Baptist Church. Her husband, Marvin Hester, and a son, John Henry Hester, preceded her in death.

Survivors include sons, Terry Hester of Brooksville and Billy Hester of Taylor Mill; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Moore and Parker Funeral Home, Brooksville. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in Kentontown Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to American Blind Association, P. O. Box 636, 3000 Louisa St., Catlettsburg, Ky. 41129.

Joseph Leroy Hightchew, 56, of Newport, died Friday at St. Luke Hospital East, Fort Thomas. He was a retired truck driver.

Survivors include daughters, Christine Carter of Nashville, Tenn., and Jill Brown of Cincinnati; his mother, Vera Schmitt of Newport; a brother, George Hightchew of Alexandria; sisters, Mary Bowman of Southgate and Donna Knoll of Glencoe; and four grandchildren.

Memorial Mass will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Corpus Christi Church, Newport. Memorials are suggested to charity. Radel Funeral Home, Newport, is handling arrangements.

Dorothy Radford Johnson, 85, of Elsmere, died at 4:20 a.m. Friday at Woodspoint Nursing Home, Florence. She was a retired domestic worker and a member of First Baptist Church of Elsmere. Her husband, Walter Johnson, died in 1980.

Survivors include several nieces.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Elsmere. Visitation will begin there at noon Tuesday. Burial will be in Mary E. Smith Cemetery, Elsmere. Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence, is handling arrangements.

Harold N. McNeese, 87, of Fort Mitchell, died at 1:10 p.m. Friday at Florence Park Care Center, Burlington. He was a retired bus driver with the former Green Line Co. and a member of Berry Methodist Church and Indra Consistory Scottish Rite in Covington. A daughter, Jackie Gardiner, died in 1990.

Survivors include his wife, Lucille Sipe McNeese; sons, Don McNeese of Covington and Dan McNeese of Edgewood; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be at noon Tuesday at Highland Cemetery Chapel, Fort Mitchell. Visitation will begin there at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to American Diabetes. Association, 8899 Brookside Ave., West Chester, Ohio 45069. Connley Bros. Funeral Home, Latonia, is handling arrangements.

Rev. Malcolm Wade Metcalf, 42, of Butler, died Friday at his home. He was an engineer with the Pendleton County Water District.

Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Metcalf; a son, Nathan Wade Metcalf; his parents, Joe and Selma Niece of Butler; brothers Danny Niece of Florence, Charles Niece of Denmark, James Niece of Butler, Lonnie Metcalf of Alexandria and Roger Metcalf of Indiana; and sisters, Mary Alsip and Margaret Nagel, both of Cincinnati.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Cooper Funeral Home, Grants Lick. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Pendleton County.

Jack Rabe, 57, of Union, died Wednesday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence. He was in marketing at Western Southern Life Insurance Co. and was a member of First Church of Christ in Burlington and the American Veterans. He was an Air Force veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Terrie E. Schneider Rabe of Union; a son, Jason C. Rabe of Augusta; a stepson, Rod J. Cope of Burlington; daughters, Cindy T. Mulcahy of Verona and Denise C. Caruthers of Port Charlotte, Fla.; a stepdaughter, Missy A. Cope of Union; brothers, Ron Rabe of Union, Robert Rabe of Covington, Tom Rabe of Burlington and Dave Rabe of Sparta; sisters, Nancy Hicks of Erlanger and Connie Hughes of Independence; and five grandchildren.

Robert Lee Raleigh, 60, of Maineville, Ohio, died Saturday at Bethesda North Hospital, Cincinnati. He as a retired inspector with Ford Motor Co., Cincinnati.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby Raleigh; his parents, Beckham and Clara Raleigh of Grants Lick; brothers, James Raleigh of Miamisburg, Ohio, and J. G. Raleigh of Cold Spring; and sisters, America Bon of Ashland, Ohio, Norma Warren and Ruth Neace, both of California, Ky., and Bernice Abisso of Brockton, Mass.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Grants Lick Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at Cooper Funeral Home, Grants Lick. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Grants Lick.

Thomas H. Scudder, 55, of Florence, died Sept. 26 at St. Luke Hospital West in Florence. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and B.A.S.S. fishing association.

Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Carpenter of Florence; a son, Kenneth Scudder of Union; sisters, Patricia L. Delrio and Sharon Phelps, both of Florence, Charlotte R. Martin of Covington and Carol A. Scudder of Owen County; a brother, James E. Scudder of Berry; half-brothers, David Robinson of Owenton County and Darryl Robinson of Madisonville; and four grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul Church, Florence. Visitation will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Linnemann Funeral Home, Burlington. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell.

George Seever, 76, of Butler, died Friday at his home of injuries suffered in a tractor accident. He was a retired farmer and a deacon and Sunday school teacher with Fairlane Baptist Church, Grants Lick.

Survivors include his wife, Kathern Seever; sons, Dennis Seever of Falmouth and Barry Seever of Grants Lick; a daughter, Kathy Fory of Madison, Ind.; a sister, Ethelene Kelly of Covington; and four grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Fairlane Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 tonight at Peoples Funeral Home, Butler. Burial will be in Butler Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Fairlane Baptist Church, Alexandria and Herringer, Alexandria, Ky. 41001.

Stephen D. Thiery Sr., 47, of Alexandria, died Wednesday at his home. He was an assistant foreman with the Kentucky Highway Department in Pendleton County.

Alma E. Cooper Walden, 87, of Cincinnati, formerly of Erlanger, died at 3:30 a.m. Sunday at East Galbraith Health Care Center in Cincinnati. She was a retired sales clerk with Herald's Department Store, Covington, and a member of Decoursey Baptist Church. She was a Sunday school teacher at the church. Her husband, Woody Walden, died in 1981.

Survivors include daughters, Betty Heinichen of Cincinnati and Norma Riggs of Taylor Mill; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
