Cecil R. Coker, 70, of Taylor Mill, died at 9:10 p.m. Monday at his home.
He was a retired employee of the Kenton County Road Department and a Navy veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Cathy Coker; sons, Danny Ray Coker of Cookeville, Tenn., Cecil William Coker of Covington, Joe Coker of Independence and Jeffrey T. Coker and John W. Coker, both of Taylor Mill; two brothers, two sisters, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at noon Thursday at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, Latonia. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Thursday. Entombment will be in Mother of God Mausoleum, Fort Wright.

Gordon Francis Glaza Sr., 73, of Covington, died at 9:40 a.m. Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood.
He was a retired heavy equipment operator with the International Union of Operating Engineers District 5, Local 18, and a member of Demossville Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Frances Glaza; sons, Gordon Francis Glaza Jr. of Covington and Raymond Glaza of Florence; daughters, Martha Setters of Walton, Frances Glaza of Independence and Catherine Del-Grande of Burlington; brothers, Joseph Glaza of Ryland Heights and Frank Glaza of Morning View; sisters, Alice Budke of Edgewood and Rosalie Baldwin of Covington; and nine grandchildren.
Services will be at noon Friday at Allison and Rose Funeral Home, Taylor Mill.
Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.
Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.

Linda Cheryl Hannah, 52, of Burlington, died Tuesday at University Hospital, Cincinnati.
She was a self-employed house cleaner and a member of Florence Baptist Temple, where she was a member of the church choir. She was also active in the Resurrection Power Children Mission in Covington.
Survivors include her husband, Kevin Hannah; a daughter, Tracey Morgan of Cincinnati; a son, Joe Williams of Latonia; a stepson, Derrick Hannah of Lawrenceburg, Ind.; and her mother, Willa Lawrence of Latonia.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Linnemann Funeral Home, Burlington. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Cremation will be at Baxter Cremation Co., Cincinnati.

Martha Sebree Hedges, 80, of Florence, died Tuesday at her home.
She was a retired audit clerk with Hartford Insurance Co., Cincinnati, and a member of Erlanger Church of Christ. Her husband, Eldon Hedges, preceded her in death.
Survivors include sons, Earl "Butch" Hedges of Florence and Steven Brent Hedges of Hebron; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Williamstown Cemetery.

Catherine Mary Healy Hnat, 87, of Florence, died Sunday at St. Luke Hospital West in Florence.
She was a branch communications manager with Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and a member of St. Paul Church, Florence.
Survivors include a daughter, Rose Marie Vincent of Alexandria; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Paul Church. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at Stith Funeral Home, Florence. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Fort Mitchell.

Christine Holloway, 85, of Highland Heights, died Monday at St. Luke Hospital East, Fort Thomas.
She was a cook with Cold Spring School, a nurse's aide with Lakeside Place Nursing Home in Highland Heights, and a retired nurse's aide with Baptist Convalescent Home, Newport. She was a member of Cold Spring Baptist Church. Her husband, George Holloway, died in 1993.
Survivors include daughters, Norma Elmore of Walton, Gloria Jean Detisch of Cold Spring, Georgie Ann Vance of Fairfield, Ohio, and Elaine Schwartz of Grants Lick; a brother, Earl Bills of Cynthiana; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Peoples Funeral Home, Grants Lick. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Cold Spring Baptist Cemetery.

Julia Lavern Rogers Padgett, 83, of Newport, died Sunday at Highlands of Fort Thomas Nursing Home, Highland Heights.
She was a member of Westwood Baptist Church, Cincinnati, and the Auburndale, Fla., Baptist Church. Her husband, Pete Padgett, preceded her in death.
Survivors include daughters, Joan Cole of Newport and Jean Kelsey of Meeker, Ohio; her father, Frank Shawler Sr.;brothers, Jim Shawler and Frank Shawler Jr.; a sister, Joyce Brown; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Paul R. Young Funeral Home, Cincinnati. Visitation will begin there at 8:30 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery, Cincinnati.

She was a retired clerk with the former Wiedemann Brewery, Newport, and a member of Blessed Sacrament Church, Fort Mitchell.

Evelyn Shepard, 69, of Tucson, Ariz., formerly of Highland Heights, died Sunday at her daughter's home.
She was an inspector with Hughes Aircraft. Her husband, Charles E. Shepard Sr., died in 1989.
Survivors include daughters, Donna Clark of Newport, Toni Shepard of Tucson and Mary Loveless of Lodi, Ohio; a son, Charles E. Shepard Jr. of Tucson; and grandchildren.

Peter Spangler, 89, of Cincinnati, died at 11:20 a.m. Tuesday at Beechknoll Nursing Home in Cincinnati.
He was the retired owner of Van Heuvel Service Co., New Brunswick, N.J. His wife, Rose Toth Spangler, died in 1963.
Survivors include a son, Peter Spangler of Hebron; a brother, Thomas Spangler of Piscataway, N.J.; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erlanger. Swindler and Currin Funeral Home, Latonia, is handling arrangements.

Jewel Arnold Gruseck Stacey, 73, of Florence, died at 11:10 a.m. Monday at St. Luke Hospital West in Florence.
She retired as a teacher in the Cincinnati Public School District. Her first husband, Lester Gruseck, died in 1961. Her second husband, James Stacey, died in 1993.
Survivors include a son, Les Gruseck of Florence; one grandson and one great-grandson.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Riverside Cemetery, Falmouth. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Stith Funeral Home, Florence.

Mary I. Straub, 86, of Butler, died Monday at River Valley Nursing Home in Butler.
She was a homemaker and a member of Gardnersville Baptist Church. Her husband, Foster Straub, died in 1992.
