Geneva Inez Sharon Barnhill, 71, of Cynthiana, died Sunday at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Cynthiana. She was a retired employee for 3M Co., an Avon sales representative and a member of Bethesda Presbyterian Church, Muddy Ford. Her husband, John Thomas "J.T." Barnhill, preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son, Tommy Barnhill of Paris; a brother, Elwood Sharon of Georgetown; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ware Funeral Home, Cynthiana. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in Georgetown Cemetery.

Helma A. Gross Case, 65, of Independence, died Saturday at St. Luke Hospital East in Fort Thomas. She was a homemaker and a member of First Church of God, Florence.

Survivors include her husband, Luther P. Case; sons, Dennis Gabbard of Independence, Gene Gabbard of Amelia, Ohio, and Eldridge Junior Gabbard of Walton; a daughter, Zona Gabbard of Independence; brothers, McKinley Gross of Cincinnati, Doris Gross of Dayton and Earl Gross of Newport; sisters, Mary Turner of Newport and Patsy Bolin of Grant County; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Radel Funeral Home, Newport. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.

Grace Weathers Crail, 73, of Covington, died Saturday at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati.

Karl R. Fieger, 46, of Latonia, died at 7:35 a.m. Friday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center North in Covington. He was a self-employed taxidermist and classic automobile restorer.

Survivors include his wife, Diana Shaffer Fieger; a brother, Gordon Powers of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and sisters, Beverly Lowe of Fort Mitchell, and Angela Gosney and Dinah Schleyer, both of Covington.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption, Covington. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 tonight at Allison and Rose Funeral Home, Covington. Burial will be in Mother of God Cemetery, Fort Wright. Memorials are suggested to American Diabetes. Association, 8899 Brookside Ave., West Chester, Ohio 45103.

Dolores "Dee" Garnett, 61, of Covington, died at 11:45 p.m. Saturday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center North in Covington. She was a retired employee for Big Brothers and Big Sisters and Community Chest of Cincinnati. She was a member of Holy Cross Church, Latonia, and a former member of Women's Auxiliary of American Legion Post No. 203, Latonia.

Survivors include a son, Cliff Fryman of Latonia; daughters, Veronica Houston and Margaret Craig, both of Covington; a sister, Mary Jo Nelson of Melbourne; and five grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Swindler and Currin Funeral Home, Latonia. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mother of God Cemetery, Fort Wright.

Owen W. Glass, 83, of Williamstown, died at 10 p.m. Saturday at his residence. He was a retired owner and operator of Owen's Barber Shop, Williamstown, formerly was a barber for Campbell House, Lexington, and was and Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Caney Fork Baptist Church, Owen County; and Robert M. Circle Masonic Lodge No. 954 F&AM, Lexington.

Survivors include his wife, Myra White Glass; a brother, Norven Glass of Owen County; and a sister, Naomi Gaines of Owen County.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Lexington. George William "Billy" Hunt Jr., 43, of Newport, died at 11:33 a.m. Friday at St. Luke Hospital East in Fort Thomas. He was disabled and formerly was a meat cutter for Economy Meats, Covington.

Survivors include his mother, Goldie Aileen Hunt of Fort Thomas; brothers, Edward Hunt of Covington and Ross Hunt of Fort Thomas; sisters, Donna Riley, Connie Hunt and Georgetta Riley, all of Florence, and May Gail Ballard of Fort Thomas; a half-brother, Ralph Innes of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; and his fiance, Lucie Schmidt of Newport.

Services will be at noon today at Allison and Rose Funeral Home, Covington. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.

Richard L. "Dick" Johnston, 83, of Edgewood, died at 10:35 p.m. Saturday at Health South Northern Kentucky Rehabilitation Hospital in Edgewood. He was a retired pharmaceutical executive for Johnson & Johnson. He was a member of Immanuel Methodist Church, Lakeside Park, where he was a former board member; Golden Rule Lodge No. 345; and Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Finney Johnston; sons, Gary L. Johnston of Edgewood and Richard L. Johnston of Walnut Creek, Calif.; a daughter, Leslie Ann Gross of Louisville; brothers, Howard B. Johnston of Garland, Texas , and Bozy Johnston of Heber Springs, Ark.; and six grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Methodist Church, Lakeside Park. Visitation will begin at noon Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum, Erlanger. Ralph Edward Kidd, 82, of Carrollton, died Saturday at Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton. He was a retired machinist for Ford Motor Co. He was a member of Carrollton First Baptist Church and Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include his wife, Louise Banta Kidd; and a sister, Iraleen Sonafrank of North Manchester, Ind.

Services were this morning at Graham-Dunn Funeral Home, Carrollton. Burial will be in Carrollton IOOF Cemetery.

Mary L. Mairose, 76, of Villa Hills, died at 7:50 p.m. Friday at her residence. She was a retired executive assistant for Midland Enterprises Inc., Cincinnati, and a member of Villa Hills Garden Club.

Survivors include a brother, Lawrence Mairose Jr. of Lakeside Park; and sisters, Alberta Ehrenfels of Erlanger, Wilma McMillian of Walton and Joanne Mairose of Villa Hills.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 7 tonight at St. Augustine Church, Covington. Burial will be in Mother of God Cemetery, Fort Wright. Memorials are suggested to charity of donor's choice. Catchen and Son Funeral Home, Covington, is handling arrangements.

Robert J. Marksbury, 60, of Williamstown, died Sunday at Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati. He was a retired bricklayer and a Navy veteran. He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Williamstown.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Henderson Marksbury; a daughter, Rachel S. Hill of Cincinnati; brothers, Hubert C. Marksbury of Dry Ridge and Timothy W. Marksbury of Deer Park, Ohio; sisters, Patricia Davis of Savannah, Mo., Jennifer Breeden of Culpeper, Va., Isa McDonnell and Cindy Morris, both of Williamstown, and Clara Robinson of Stephensburg; and one grandchild.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, is handling arrangements.

Willie P. Minor, 93, of Ryland Heights, died at 6:15 p.m. Friday at Rosedale Manor in Latonia. He was a retired signal operator for L&N Railroad and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Lonnie T. Minor of Denver; daughters, Mamie Mardis of Ryland Heights, Brenda Rex of Shippenville, Pa., and Eunice Sposato of New Jersey; 14 grandchildren; and 13-great-grandchildren.

Gilbert Warren "Mitch" Napier, 78, of Fort Thomas, died at 4:08 p.m. Friday at St. Luke Hospital East in Fort Thomas. He was a former captain for the Walton Fire Department and a member of First Baptist Church, Walton.

Survivors include sons, Frank Warren Napier, Steven Ray Napier and George V. Napier, all of Newport; sisters, Wanda Hudson of Newport and Hazel Shinkle of Union; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Sim B. Ogburn, 83, of Sanders, died Friday at Gallatin County Health Care Center in Warsaw. He was a retired farmer and a member of Sanders Baptist Church.

Anna Marie Plemen, 84, of Erlanger, died at 4:20 p.m. Friday at Woodspoint Care Center in Florence. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Joseph F. Plemen, died in 1989. A son, Richard Plemen, died in 1950.

Survivors include sons, James Plemen of Cleveland, George Plemen of Erlanger, Joseph Plemen of Anderson Township, Ohio, and David Plemen of Beaver Dam, Va.; sisters, Evelyn Cox of Indianapolis, Florence Hart of Florida and Eileen Storniola of the state of California; a brother, George Logan of Columbus, Ohio; and five grandchildren.

Charles Roberts, 71, of Morning View, died Friday at Rosedale Manor in Latonia. He was a retired iron worker for Ironworkers Union, Local No. 44.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Heger Roberts; sons, Charles S. Roberts of Dry Ridge and Bruce R. Roberts of Latonia; sisters, Gertrude Wray of Cincinnati and Glenna Hardman of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Myrtle Thompson, 96, formerly of Covington, died Friday at Blue Ash Nursing Home, Blue Ash, Ohio. She was a member of the Community Christian Church, Covington.
