Surviving are three daughters, Sondra Stone, Faye Hall and Dianna Miller; two sons, Stephen and Walter K. "Butch"; two sisters, Edna O'Nan and Joann Yates; two brothers, William Lee and Pascal Benson; and 17 grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Tapp Funeral Home, with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to service time.

Charles Boyd Jr.
HENDERSON - Charles J. Boyd Jr., 58, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2002, at Trigg County Hospital in Cadiz of heart failure.
He had worked at Ferrell Bros. Restaurant.
Surviving is a sister, Gloria Jean Boyd.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mason Bros. Audubon Chapel, with burial in Fernwood Cemetery.

Bert Hatfield Jr.
OWENSBORO - Bert B. Hatfield Jr., 76, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2002, at his home.
He was an aircraft mechanic with Texas Gas.
Surviving are his wife, Betty J.; two sons, Steven R. and Tom; two sisters, Nancy Heim and Linda Whitfield; and seven grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Glenn Funeral Home, with entombment in Owensboro Memorial Gardens.

Earle Marquess
PRINCETON - Earle Marquess, 93, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2002, at Princeton Health Care Manor.
He had owned and operated Marquess Office Equipment.
Surviving are his wife, Lorine; and a sister, Ruby Jones.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. today in Friendship Church Cemetery
in Lyon County.
Carl Overby
PRINCETON - Carl Edward Overby, 73, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2002, at Caldwell County Hospital.
He had been a truck driver.
Surviving are his wife, Venice; two daughters, Sharon Goodwin and Lanna Haile; two sons, Larry and Danny; and 14 grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Morgan's Funeral Home, with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today.
James Puckett
HAWESVILLE - James E. Puckett, 65 of Owensboro, formerly of Hawesville, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2002, at Owensboro Mercy Health System.
He was a former employee of Moonlight.
Surviving are two stepdaughters, Gayle Streh and Ginny Knight; a son, David Allen; two sisters, Martine Morris and Dorothy Vincent; and two brothers, Earl and Samuel.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, with burial in Blackford Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. today and until service time.
Hazel Stewart
MADISONVILLE - Hazel Margaret (Lyle) Stewart, 84, died Friday, Feb. 15, 2002, at Madisonville Regional Medical Center.
Surviving are a sister, Allie Johnston; and three grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Grapevine Cemetery. Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington is handling arrangements.

RUMSEY - Nova Jewell Welborn, 89, died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2002, at a daughter's home in Madisonville.
Surviving are two daughters, Sarah Belle Welborn and Yvonne W. Arnold; a sister, Ava Christine McGehee; and four grandchildren.

MADISONVILLE - Patricia Ann "Shug" (Clements) Clark, 72, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2002, at her home.
Surviving are five daughters, Charlene Carson, Anita Patterson, Patty Cotton, Joann Fritz, and Natalie Hemmerle; a son, Greg Clark; two sisters, Janice McKinsey and Sarah Perdue; 15 grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Christ the King Catholic Church in Madisonville, with burial in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Monday.

Clete Darnell
ST. CHARLES - Clete Darnell, 63, of Ledbetter, formerly of St. Charles, died Friday, Feb. 15, 2002, at Owensboro (Ky.) Mercy Health System.
He was an inventor and an entrepreneur, having invented several products which are used nationwide. He was president of Big Heart Corporation.
Surviving are two daughters, Diane Huddleston and Wendy Henley; a son, Mark Darnell; five sisters, Helen Hamby, Sue Wagers, Linda Bryan, Gwendella Powell and Brenda Son; three brothers, Jack, Paul and Carl Darnell; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Gilland Ridge General Baptist Church in St. Charles, with burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington and from 10 a.m. to service time at the church.
Florence Hillyard
HENDERSON - Florence (Duckworth) Hillyard, 86, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2002, at Methodist Hospital.
Surviving are a daughter, Brenda Stone; two sons, Buddy Don and Michael L. Hillyard; a sister, Dorothy Snider; a brother, Dorris Duckworth; and nine grandchildren.
Arrangements are pending at Tapp Funeral Home.
Kathyron Lamb
PRINCETON - Kathyron (McIntosh) Lamb, 75, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2002, at Caldwell County Hospital following a long illness.
She was a retired factory worker, having worked for the Cumberland Manufacturing Company and the Princeton Hosiery Mill.
Surviving are a daughter, Janice Wynn; two sons, James and Joe Lamb; four sisters, Rose Capps, Edith Adamson, Nell Vowell and Doris Cook; two brothers, Vonell and Danny McIntosh; and several grandchildren.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Morgan's Funeral Home, with burial in Cross Roads Church Cemetery
in Caldwell County.
