VIDALIA, LA - Services for Irma Hall Ashford, 88, of Monterey, LA, who died Sunday, Oct. 5, 2003, at her residence, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Young's Funeral Home Chapel in Vidalia with the Rev. Huey Tarpley and the Rev. Kevin Sims officiating.
Burial will be in Green Oaks cemetery in Baton Rouge, LA under the direction of Young's Funeral Home.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Charlie Randall Jr.
VIDALIA, La. -- Services for Charlie Randall Jr., 77, of Vidalia, who died Saturday, Oct. 4, 2003, at his residence, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Vidalia First Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary Nunn officiating.
Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Young's Funeral Home of Vidalia.
Visitation will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Randall was a member and deacon of Vidalia First Baptist Church. He retired from Armstrong Tire.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Randall Sr. and Annie Dosher Randall.
Survivors include one grandson, Christopher Wayne Randall of Pearl; one granddaughter, Stephanie Lynn Roberts of Dubach, La.; one daughter-in-law, Debra Randall Mullens of Summit; one brother, Bud Randall of Jonesville; and an extended family of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pallbearers will be friends and family members.
Zella M. Aswell
MONTEREY, La. -- Zella M. Aswell, a retired restaurant owner, died Saturday. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at the Eva Pentecostal Church with interment in the Eva Church of God cemetery under the direction of Comer Funeral Home of Ferriday. Visitation will be in the church until time of service.
Dr. Lester "Pete" Peterman
FERRIDAY, LA - Services for Dr. Lester "Pete" Peterman, 60, of Ferriday, who died Thursday, Oct. 2, 2003, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Young's Funeral Home Chapel in Ferriday with Reverend Bobby Cruse and Denny Braswell officiating.
Interment will follow at Church Hill United Methodist Church cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home.
Dr. Peterman was a resident of Ferriday, a former Concordia Parish School Superintendent, and a member of the Ridgecrest Baptist Church. Dr. Peterman began his formal education and received his bachelor's degree from Mississippi State University, He received his masters from the University of Louisiana-Monroe, and obtained his PHD from Northwestern State University.
He was preceded in death by: Father, Lester Leonard Peterman, Sr.
Survivors include: Wife, Loretta Peterman of Ferriday; Step-daughter, Krystle Coleman of Ferriday; Daughter, Tracy Kinnet and husband Joey of Hernando, Ms; Son, Nick Peterman and wife Emily of Church Hill, Ms; Son Mark Peterman and fiance' Vanessa Sandel of Baton Rouge; and their Mother, Leinda Peterman of Natchez; Grandchildren, Megan, Tiffany, Jordan, & Sarah Kinnet, Lindsey & Halle Peterman; Aunt, Ellyn Stewart; and His Mother, Corinne Peterman of Jackson
The Pallbearers will be Dale Bourgeois, Eddie Boone, Sam Matson, H.L. Irvin, Gary Parnham, Fred Marsalis, Fred T. Butcher and Jackie Johnston.
Memorial donations can be made to the Lester Peterman Scholarship Fund at the Concordia Parish School Board.

James Blanchard Price, Jr.

LELAND COMMUNITY, LA. - Services for James Blanchard Price, Jr., 70, of Sicily Island, LA, who died Thursday, Feb. 5, 2004, in Sicily Island, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at New Hope Pentecostal Church with Brother Norris Poole and Brother Roy Archer officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Park cemetery in Sicily Island under the direction of Comer Funeral Home.

Mr. Price was born May 24, 1933, in Shreveport, LA, the son of J.B. Price and Faye Slade Price.
He was a life long resident of Sicily Island and a member of the First Baptist Church in Sicily Island. He was a retired heavy equipment operator.
Mr. Price was preceded in death by his parents, Blanchard and Faye Price and a brother, Ralph Price.
Survivors include his wife, Dot Ashley Price of Sicily Island; four sisters, Doris P. Miles of Houston, TX, LaVern P. Parish of Leland Community, Karen Price of Harrisonburg, LA and Maxine P. Grass and husband, Lucian "Bert" Grass of Alexandria, LA; brother, Larry K. Price and wife, Nancy Price of Winnsboro, LA; and a number of neices, nephews and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Robert Price, Richard Price, Billy Fletcher, Kaline Patton, Lynn Evans and Barry Jenkins.
Honorary pallbearers will be R.G. Price, L.J. "Bert" Grass, Clarence Martin and C.L. Ratcliff.

Mrs. Russ was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Russ; two sisters, Ollie and Celia Brown and one brother Isaiah Cooper.

She was a homemaker.

Mr. Jefferson was born May 27, 1958, in Ferriday, the son of John and Louise Brady Jefferson.
He was a truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Lee Jefferson.
Survivors include his mother, Louise B. Jefferson of Ferriday; one daughter, Ilene Jefferson of New Orleans; four sisters; four brothers; and two special friends, Jennifer and Mark Meredith, both of Ferriday.

Burial will follow in Natchez National cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home of Vidalia.
Visitation will be at 5 p.m. today at the church.
Mrs. Mullins was born Oct. 9, 1930, in Lincoln County, the daughter of Thomas and Amy Montgomery.
She was a homemaker and had lived in Vidalia for 40 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl E. Mullins, and her parents.
Survivors include two sons, Keith "Moon" Mullins and his wife, Mary, both of Vidalia, and Kenny Mullins of Carthage, Texas; two grandsons, Jeremy Mullins and his wife, Lori, both of Vidalia, and Eric Mullins of Carthage; one granddaughter, Summer Mullins of Carthage; and one brother, Billy Ray Montgomery of Brookhaven.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.

She was a wonderful wife and mother and a resident and native of Pine Grove, La. She was a lifelong member of Pine Grove Methodist Church.
Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her parents, E.A. "Ott" and Olivia King Durbin.
Survivors include her husband, Bennett T. Williams of Pine Grove; two daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Ralph McDaniel of Pine Grove and Lois Ann and William D. "Bill" Rives of Natchez; one sister and brother-in-law, Athalea and Tommy Wells of Walker; four grandchildren and spouses, Michelle and Billy Brasseaux of Pine Grove, Rex and Sue McDaniel of Watson, Tammy and Greg Lee of Natchez and Will Rives of Natchez; four great-grandchildren, Cassidy Brasseaux, Brent McDaniel, Meighan Lee and Kyle McDaniel; and a number of nieces and nephews.
