A retired heavy equipment operator 1, 2 and 3 and a resident of Plaquemine, he died at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 1, 2004, in Plaquemine of an accidental shooting. He was 75 and a native of White Castle. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Visiting at Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, White Castle, at 11 a.m. Wednesday, celebrated by the Rev. Jules Brunet. Interment in church cemetery. Survived by his lady friend, Carrie Rosamond; eight daughters, Gloria Robinson, Judy Sanchez, Diana Sheridon, Jeannie Cannella, Estelita Stilley, Alice Thibodeaux, Sherry Lillis and Angel DiCappo; five sons, Clifton Sanchez Jr., Randy Sanchez, Rudy Sanchez, Vincent Sanchez and Shannon Sanchez; four sisters, Hilda Delapasse, Milda Richbourg, Elnora Daigle and Vernice Longo; four brothers, Lawrence Sanchez, Louis Sanchez, Chilton Sanchez and Kenneth Sanchez; 59 grandchildren and 39 great-granchildren. preceded in death by his mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Albert L. Sanchez; wife, Delphine Sanchez; brothers, Herbert, Harry, Pecue, Dudley and Shelby Sanchez; sisters, Verda Smith, Mildred Durning and Delta Sanchez. Pallbearers will be James Repp, Jeannie Cannella, Josh Hanchet, Judy Sanchez, Clifton Sanchez III, Rudy Sanchez and Mark Lake.

SMITH, PATSY DIANNE CASE DILLON
A longtime training supervisor for Circle K Stores, she died at 4:45 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 1, 2004, in Denham Springs. She was 55, a resident of Denham Springs and a native of Brookhaven, Miss. Visitation at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and in the chapel from 8 a.m. until service at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Service at Friendship Baptist Church, Brookhaven, Miss., at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. Officiating ministers will be the Rev. Joe Hammack and the Rev. Aubrey Case Jr. Burial in Friendship Baptist Church cemetery. Survived by her husband, Michael Smith of Baton Rouge; two daughters and a son-in-law, Tonya and Mike Golmon and Tammy Wilson; a son, Terry Dillon; two sisters, Sheila Case Williams of Houston and Patricia Case Nohle of Brookhaven; two brothers, Denson Case of Tylertown, Miss., and Dewayne Case of Brookhaven; and grandchildren, John Michael Golmon Jr., Matthew Peter Golmon, Kayla Dianne Wilson, Seth Wayne Dillon and Tylar Lane Dillon. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Brittany Dianne Dillon; father, Howard Case; and mother, Neita Faye Watts Case Jacobs. STEWART, CHARLES ARTHUR
A native and resident of Albany, he died Monday, Feb. 2, 2004, at his home. He was 65. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2004. Visiting in the funeral home chapel from 8 a.m. until religious service at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2004, conducted by Dr. Rodney Taylor and the Rev. Iran Smith. Interment in Blood River Baptist Church cemetery. Survived by wife of 47 years, Lila Ann Wagner Stewart, Albany; a son and daughter-in-law, Larry Charles and Sybil Gill Stewart, Albany; three daughters and sons-in-law, Vickie Stewart Rodriquez and husband Wayne, Lisa Ann Bourgeois and husband Bryant and Sue Ellen Payne and husband Glen Roy, all of Albany; four sisters, Wilma Stafford, Livingston, Bonnie Stassi, Hammond, Mary Fedele, Tickfaw, and Norma White, Mississippi; and seven grandchildren, Ashley DePaula, Brooks Stewart, Brittany Stewart, Keli Bourgeois, Kalen Bourgeois, Dustin Rodriquez and Charleston Payne. preceded in death by parents, Kenner and Idell Kinchen Stewart; a sister, Monteal Gautreaux; and a brother, Edward "Boss" Stewart. He was a member of Blood River Baptist Church, a longtime carpenter and an avid hunter, serving as president of Hickory Branch Hunting Club.

VEASEY, RAE MARIE DICHARRY
A retired registered nurse with the state public health office, she died at 10 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 1, 2004, at her home in St. Francisville. She was 74 and a native of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Charlet Funeral Home Inc., Zachary, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and from noon until religious service at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Charlie Landry. Interment in Feliciana cemetery, St. Francisville. Survived by her husband, Carl Veasey; two daughters, Rose Marie White, St. Francisville, and Elizabeth Anne Charlton, Elyria, Ohio; two sons, Arnold Dee White Jr., St. Francisville, and David Wayne White, Baton Rouge; a sister, Doris Bridges, Baton Rouge; a brother, Roland Dicharry Jr., Moore, Okla.; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. preceded in death by her parents, Roland and Leola Dicharry; a sister, Betty Carpenter; and a brother, Raymond Dicharry. Pallbearers will be Dawayne Veasey, Maurice Brown, George Bridges, Michael Carpenter, Richard Hull and Boogie Davis. Honorary pallbearers are Thomas Williston and Buddy Bridges.

WALDEN, SHIRLEY MORGAN
A resident of Baker, she died Monday, Feb. 2, 2004, at Lane Memorial Hospital, Zachary. She was 75. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, Baker, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Other arrangements are pending.

WILLIAMS, MATTHEW HARPER
A resident of Baton Rouge, he died Monday, Feb. 2, 2004. He was 19. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., from 10 a.m. Wednesday until religious service at noon. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by his father and mother, Don and Patty Williams; grandmother, Jessie M. Harper; a sister, Sarah Williams; and a brother, Donald Williams. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

WRIGHT, SR. NEIL AUBREY
A retired electrician with the U.S. Department of Defense, he died at 9:15 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 1, 2004, at his home in St. Francisville. He was born Feb. 8, 1917, in Lincoln Parish, and was a former longtime resident of Bossier City. He attended Louisiana Tech before joining the U.S. Army Air Corps and serving in World War II. Visiting at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, 209 Bonner St., Ruston, from 12:30 p.m. Friday until religious service at 1:30 p.m. Interment in Beulah Baptist Church cemetery in Farmerville. Survived by his wife, Edith Johnson Wright, St. Francisville; a daughter, Donna Wright Lee Pitts and husband David R. Pitts, St. Francisville; a son, Neil Aubrey Wright Jr. and wife Rebecca Jean-Wright, Phoenix; and three grandchildren, Lauren J. Lee and husband Mike Mascaro, Baton Rouge, Sarah Kinney Wright, Winchester, Calif., and Ryan Matthews Wright, Vista, Calif. preceded in death by his father and mother, Lewis Thomas Wright and Lillian Estelle Matthews Wright Connell. He was a founding member of Northside Baptist Church, Bossier City, now Airline Baptist Church, and was a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 995. BIGGERS, AUDREY LUTTRELL
A devoted and loving mother, grandmother and friend and a retired school teacher in Plaquemine and at the Louisiana School for the Blind in Baton Rouge, she died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2003, at St. James Health and Wellness Center. She was 82, a resident of Baton Rouge and native of Hedley, Texas. Visiting at Broadmoor Uni-ted Methodist Church from 1 p.m. until religious service at 2 p.m. Sunday, conducted by the Rev. Ken Carroll. Survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Lynn and Bob Bradley, Dugie and David Graham and Donna and Charlie Carville; a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Melanie Biggers; a brother, Lonnie Luttrell; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. preceded in death by her husband, M.W. Biggers; parents, Bessie and Ollie Luttrell; a brother, Carroll Luttrell; a sister, Virginia Gore; and a daughter, Carol Sue Biggers. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Paul and Andrew Graham, Ryan and Blake Carville and John and Michael Biggers. She received a bachelor's degree in elementary education from LSU. She was a member of United Methodist Women at Broadmoor United Methodist Church. She was an avid gardener, traveler and painter, and volunteer at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. Special thanks to Dr. Jed Morris, Wendy Tolliver, Gloria Anderson and all the staff at St. James Health and Wellness Center. BRADLEY, PETER PATRICK "PETE"
A retired AT&T; manager and resident of Gonzales, he died Friday, Dec. 5, 2003, at his residence. He was 62 and a native of Buffalo, N.Y. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and served in Vietnam. Visiting at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday. Visiting at Emmanuel Catholic Church, Chopin, from 1 p.m. until religious service at 2 p.m. Monday. Interment in church cemetery. Survived by his wife, Sue Bradley, Gonzales; four sons and two daughters-in-law, Peter Patrick Bradley Jr., Covington, William E. Bradley, Loranger, Michael S. and Chrissy Bradley, Gonzales, and Randy L. and Amy Bradley, Jefferson; a brother, William Bradley, Dallas; and two grandchildren, William Bradley, Loranger, and Drew Elizabeth Bradley, Jefferson. preceded in death by parents, William and Annie Bradley. He was a member of Knights of Columbus.

CAPELLO, HOWARD "CUBBIE"
A retired clerk with Union Pacific Railroad with 40 years of service and a resident of Baton Rouge, he died at 12:05 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2003, at Ollie Steele Burden Manor Nursing Home. He was 79 and a native of Donaldsonville. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, having served aboard the battleship USS New Mexico. Visiting at St. Jude Catholic Church from 10 a.m. Saturday until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. David Allen. Interment in Prairieville Community cemetery. Survived by his wife of 52 years, Lou Ann Duplessis; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lucille and Lester Gassert, Washington, Kan., and Joyce and Harold Tridico, Gonzales; and a devoted sister--in-law, Evelyn Lafitte. preceded in death by parents, Joseph Edmund Capello and Lillie B. Capello Cain; three brothers, Joe, James and Arthur Capello; and six sisters, Delma C. Huges, Ethel C. Caballero, Aline C. Hebert, Beulah C. Milam, Gertrude C. Simoneaux and Addie L. Dyer. Many thanks go out to the priest, nuns and staff at Ollie Steele Burden Manor for their love and support shown to us while we were there.
