Josefina "Inang" Guevarra Reyes, a homemaker, died Friday of kidney failure at her home. She was 74. Ms. Reyes was born in Las Pinas, Philippines, and lived in Harvey for many years. Survivors include six sons, Eddie, Lito, Vic, Chico, Louis and Gene Reyes; five daughters, Belinda Carpio, Hennie Batiquin, Florrie Breaux, Chris Eusebio and Rosie Johnson; two brothers, Emilio and Tommy Guevarra; two sisters, Remedios Avendano and Estella Cristobal; 19 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. A Mass will be said Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 West Bank Expressway, Harvey. Visitation will be today from 6 to 11 p.m. and Wednesday at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park in Gretna.
POWER, GEORGIA MAMELA

Georgia Mamela Power, a retired wedding consultant, died Sunday at Lafon Nursing Facility of the Sisters of the Holy Family. She was 87. Mrs. Power was born in Sacramento, Calif., and lived in New Orleans most of her life. Survivors include two sons, William J. Power Jr. and Michael J. Power; a daughter, Georgia Power Horne; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. A Mass will be said today at noon at St. Matthew the Apostle Church, 10021 Jefferson Highway, River Ridge. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Metairie cemetery. Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
MAHOGANY, SOLOMON

Solomon Mahogany, a laborer, died Mar. 17 of heart failure at Earl K. Long Hospital. He was 52. Mr. Mahogany was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. Survivors include his wife, Karyn Mahogany; two daughters, Tina McCloud Herambe of Oakland, Calif., and Krissi Mahogany; his mother, Josephine Mahogany; five brothers, Richard Mahogany Sr., Allen, Walter, Malcolm and Brian Mahogany; two sisters, Linda Fox Gardner and Myra Ealy Wright; and three grandchildren. A funeral will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Gaskin-Southall-Gordon & Gordon Mortuary, 1225 N. Rampart St. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Providence Memorial Park.

Almarie Pittman Little, a retired artist, died Friday at her home. She was 79. Mrs. Little was born in Wayne County, Miss., and lived in River Ridge for the past 37 years. Survivors include a son, Derek Adam Chandler; two daughters, Cheryl Dawn McDowell and Candace Eve Nicholson; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Lake Lawn Park. Visitation will be at 11 a.m. at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie.
LaCOUR, ALMA ‘DEE' BROSSETT

Alma "Dee" Brossett LaCour, a retired employee of Nabisco in Chicago, died Friday of pneumonia at Pendleton Memorial Methodist Hospital. She was 69. Mrs. LaCour was born in Cloutierville, lived in New Orleans for many years and in Chicago for more than 35 years, and returned to New Orleans in 1988 when she retired from Nabisco. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in New Orleans. Survivors include two sisters, Thelma B. Clementine and Theresa B. Gonzales. A Mass will be said Wednesday at noon at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Cloutierville. Visitation will be at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Winfield Funeral Home handled arrangements.
JONES, ROBERT JR.

Robert Jones Jr., a truck driver for Winn-Dixie in New Orleans, died Sunday of congestive heart failure at Earl K. Long Hospital. He was 55. Mr. Jones was born in Plaquemine and lived in Baton Rouge for the past four years. He was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School. He was a member of the New St. Mark Baptist Church in New Orleans. Survivors include his companion, April Lee of Baton Rouge; a son, Rodney Crosby of New Orleans; 11 daughters, Rosalind, Wanda, Rocetta, Rochell, Mary and Olivier Jones, Robin Hodges, and Kizzy and Zada Mullen, all of Baton Rouge, and Sahmika Jones and Monica Hawthorne, both of New Orleans; a stepson, Leo Turner of Baton Rouge; two brothers, Jessie Jones of Alabama and Herman Jones of New Orleans; four sisters, Doris Vickers, Beulah Edwards, Virginia Lewis and Geraldine Richardson, all of New Orleans; and 14 grandchildren. A memorial service was held Monday at Majestic Mortuary, 1833 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd. Burial was private.
DELCUZE, ALBERT ‘PEANUT' JR.

Albert "Peanut" Delcuze Jr., a retired letter carrier, died Friday of heart failure at West Jefferson Medical Center.
He was 72.
Mr. Delcuze was born in Gretna and lived in Marrero for the past 45 years.
He was a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers.
He was a sergeant in the Marine Corps.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Michel Delcuze; a son, Troy Delcuze; three daughters, Kim Muhleisen, Shannon and Chastity Delcuze; two sisters, Deedee Gondrella and Helen Silverstein; and two grandchildren.
A funeral was held Monday at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero.
Burial was in Westlawn Park cemetery.
DASTE, RAYMOND VALENTINE

Raymond Valentine Daste, a retired bricklayer with the International Union of Bricklayers & Allied Craft Workers Local No. 1, died Sunday at Memorial Medical Center. He was 83. Mr. Daste was a lifelong resident of New Orleans.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his companion, Gloria Barbarin, and a brother, Elmore Daste.
A Mass will be said Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 2545 Bayou Road.
Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Mary cemetery.
McMahon-Coburn-Briede Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
CERBINI, ROSALIE T.

Rosalie T. Cerbini, a special education assistant at Clancy Elementary and Airline Park Elementary Schools, died Saturday at Select Specialty Hospital in Metairie. She was 77. Mrs. Cerbini was born in New Orleans and lived in Metairie for the past 43 years.
She was a member of St. Philip Neri Young at Heart Club, Our Lady of Divine Providence Catholic Church and its Ushers Club, and VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 3267, Harahan.
Survivors include her husband, John C. Cerbini Sr.; three sons, John C. Jr., Myron J. and Brett L. Cerbini; a brother, Emile P. Totaro; and two sisters, Bernice Benedetto Statham and Ethel Totaro Lassalle.
A Mass will be said today at 1 p.m. at Lamana-Panno-Fallo Funeral Home Chapel, 1717 Veterans Memorial Blvd.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.
CAIN, TIMOTHY EARL

Timothy Earl Cain, a cook at the Trolley Stop Cafe, died March 2 of lung failure at University Hospital because of a gunshot wound May 23. He was 34. Mr. Cain was a lifelong resident of New Orleans.
He attended Joseph S. Clark Senior High School.
Survivors include his father, William Weber Sr.; his mother, Mercedes Cain; and two sisters, Alysia C. Rowel and LaToya Cain.
A funeral will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at D.W. Rhodes Funeral Home, 3933 Washington Ave.
Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. Burial will be in Providence Memorial Park.
WAGUESPACK, GUY J. SR.

Guy J. Waguespack Sr., a retired night watchman for the City of New Orleans, died Friday at Chateau Living Center in Kenner.
He was 87. Mr. Waguespack was born in Vacherie and lived in Metairie for the past 30 years.
Survivors include his wife, Rose McLin Waguespack; four sons, Alwin, Raymond, Roy and Guy Waguespack Jr.; two daughters, Helen Hasselbeck and Jean Faulkner; 20 grandchildren; 25 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
A funeral will be held today at 9 a.m. at P.J. McMahon & Son Funeral Home, 4800 Canal St.
Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.
