Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Joseph AD Loftin of DeRidder, LA; son, Joseph R. Loftin & wife Debi of DeRidder, LA; grandsons, Blaine Cronce of Westlake, LA, Drew Loftin & wife Lindsay of DeRidder, LA; great grandson, William Loftin of DeRidder, LA, beloved furbaby, Bandit.
Mrs. Loftin was preceded in death by her parents; Ralph B. & Ethel Iles Cole.
Visitation will be held Monday, August 4, 2014 from 3:00pm until 9:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at 2:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Burial will follow in Beauregard cemetery in DeRidder.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Baptist Children’s Home or God’s Food Box.

Paula Cooley, 63, of Dickinson, TX passed from this life on Thursday, July 31, 2014 in Webster, TX. Those left to cherish her memory are her step-brother, Ken Hollingsworth and wife Sheridan of Lumberton, TX; cousins, Brenda Kramer of Sulphur, LA and Foster Ray McMahon of Moore, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Kanady and Faye Kanady Hollingsworth.
Visitation will be held Saturday, August 2, 2014 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Gambrell Baptist Church in Starks, LA. Funeral service will be Sunday, August 3, 2014 at 2:00pm at Gambrell Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Smith cemetery in Starks, LA. Rev. Damon Bickham will officiate.
Services are under the direction of Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Ida Sweet and husband Gregory, fiancée; Kiara S. Palmer, son, D’Monte A. Jackson; daughter, Kimya A. Jackson all of Merryville, LA; brothers, KeAndre Jackson, Patrick Jackson, Gregory Sweet, Jr. all of Merryville, and Marshall Sweet of Lake Charles, LA; sisters, Alycia Samuel and Brittany Mitchell of Houston, TX, Ivona Sweet of Lake Charles, LA, and Cherrisse Hooper of Merryville, LA; and a host of loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Woodrow and Lorean Jackson of Bon Wier, TX, Bennie Myers of Beaumont, TX, and Katherine Sweet of Merryville, LA.
Visitation and Funeral services will be Saturday, August 2, 2014 at United Christian Fellowship in Newton, TX. Visitation is from 9:00am until time of service at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Belgrade Community cemetery in Belgrade, TX. Minister Bryan Foster will officiate.

Ellaweise "Bugs" Lambert, 89, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 in Alexandria, LA. Mrs. Lambert stood for what she believed in and enjoyed cooking, sewing, and could sell anything. She brought the original New Orleans Style Snocones to DeRidder. Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Halton “Dog” Lambert and wife Gay of Merryville, Dalton “Tunnie” Lambert and wife Janet of Salisbury, NC, Alton “Tudor” Lambert and wife Brenda of DeRidder, and Elton “Poot” Lambert and wife Pam of Little Rock, AR; daughters, Sammie Rose Kubala and husband Ronald of Wallisville, TX, and Sharon “Baby Sister” Lambert of DeRidder; 17 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harmon H. Lambert; sisters, Mae Nelson, Bessie Smith, Ruby Clark, Darty Drake, and Rosie Green; brother, Bill Droddy; parents, Andrew and Catherine Droddy.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 31, 2014 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral Services will be Friday, August 1, 2014 at 2:00pm at First United Pentecostal Church in DeRidder, LA. Burial will follow in Cooper cemetery in DeRidder. Pastor Elton Lambert will officiate. The family would like to give special thanks to Beauregard Memorial Hospital ICU.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Theo and Opal McClelland; son, Garry W. Tidwell; and numerous family members.

Nephews; Johnathon Odom, Dillon Lambright, Colby Hryhorchuk and Cameron Gallier. Nieces; Saprina Buxton, Amber Weber, Carley Gallier, Alyssa LaGrand and Kaylee Salter.

Daughters, Deshanna Jordan Holmes and husband James of San Augustine, TX, Otisha Sanders and husband Tony of DeRidder, LA; Stepdaughters, Michelle Davis and husband Justin of DeRidder, LA and Brittany Miller of DeRidder, LA.
Brothers, Moses (Hump) Jordan and wife Nita of DeRidder, LA and George (Moon) Freeman and wife Kim of DeRidder, LA. Sisters, Ester Louise Williams of Clarksville, TN and Pamela (Denise) Jones and husband Fred of College Station, TX. He had 21 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mr. Jordan was preceded in death by: Father, Moses Jordan Sr., Mother, Louise Scott Jordan and Bertha Scott Williams.
