Geneva Goins, 78, a native of New Orleans and resident of Thibodaux, died Oct. 11, 2002.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday at Magnolia United Methodist Church on Johnson Ridge. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the church, with burial at the Garden of Memories Cemetery
in Metairie.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Goins; parents, James and Pinkey Rounds Jackson ; and two sisters, Louise McGee and Mildred Nelyon.
She was a member of Magnolia United Methodist Church.
Mary Hebert
Mary Lena Dyson Hebert, 60, a native of Cameron and resident of Houma, died at 2:45 p.m. Oct. 15, 2002.
Visitation will be from 4 to 10 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Falgout
Funeral Home in Houma. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with burial at Holy Rosary Cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Patrick Trosclair and Don Foret; daughters, Tammy Hebert, Mary Trosclair and Vickie Watson; brothers, Edmond and L.J. Dyson; sisters, Doreen Mouton, Colise Dyson, Rita Trump and Irene Dyson; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Harry L. Hebert, Milton Foret, Frank Trosclair and Weldon Stoufflet; parents, Durphy and Caroline Constance Dyson; and son, Paul Trosclair.
She was a parishioner of Holy Rosary and a homemaker.
Edward LeBlanc
Edward LeBlanc , 84, a native of Cut Off, and resident of Larose, died at 12:45 a.m. Oct. 16, 2002.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Our Lady of Rosary Catholic Church in Larose. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Thursday at the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Mable Trosclair LeBlanc ; son, Marvin Evans; sister, Ethel LeBlanc Collins; and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and Lillian Duplantis LeBlanc ; daughter, Sylvia Ann LeBlanc ; brothers, Tillman and Omar LeBlanc ; and sister, Leola Lefort.
He was Catholic and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Doris Orgeron
Doris Vegas Orgeron, 73, a native and resident of Cut Off, died Oct. 15, 2002.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off. A
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Thursday at the church, with burial at the church cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Wayne M. and Curtis J. Orgeron; daughters, Nadine Orgeron Felarise, Rachelle Orgeron Hebert and Rochelle Mary Orgeron; sister, Grace Vegas Danos; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney P. Orgeron; parents, Pierre and Lucille Cheramie Vegas; brothers, Albert and Morris Vegas; and grandson, Rodney J. Orgeron.
She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She worked for Cut Off Elementary School for 21 years and Wal-Mart for 13 years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Ladies Altar Society.
Breanna Rogers
Breanna Jeannie Rogers, 2, a native of Houma and resident of Dulac, died Oct. 11, 2002.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Samart Funeral Home in Houma. A religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with burial at Rogers Cemetery
in Houma.
She is survived by her parents, Jeannie Rogers and Jimmy Fellelo; stepfather, Adam Naquin; brother, Adam Rogers; and sister, Erica Fellelo.
Donations to the family for funeral expenses are preferred.
Joshua Billiot
Joshua Adam Billiot, 15, a native of Grand Bois and resident of Larose, died at 2:23 a.m. Nov. 29, 2002.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. today and 8 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bethel Baptist Church in Grand Bois. A religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church with burial at Holy Rosary Cemetery
in Larose.
He is survived by his mother, Susan Billiot Dominique; stepfather, Tyrone P. Dominique Sr.; grandfather, Leroy A. Billiot Sr.; grandmother, Mildred Billiot; stepgrandmother, Linda D. Dominique; stepbrothers, Tyrone Jr. and Damian M. Dominique; half-sister, Liza Billiot; and stepsisters, Kellie M. Dominique and Andrea Barnes.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leroy A. Billiot Jr.; grandmother, Annie Hazel Guidry; grandfather, Alcee Billiot Sr.; stepgrandfather, Russell J. Dominique Sr.; and stepgrandparents, Houston and Della Parfait.
He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family for funeral expenses.

Michael L. Boudreaux, 59, a native and resident of Raceland, died at 5:55 p.m. Dec. 1, 2002.
Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at St. Hilary of Poiters Catholic Church in Mathews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial at Resurrection Memorial Park in Mathews.
He is survived by his wife, Pam B. Boudreaux; son, Lonnie Boudreaux; daughter, Melissa Thomas; daughter-in-law, Diane Boudreaux; son-in-law, Damion Thomas; brothers, Irvin “Bobby” Jr. and Rudy Boudreaux; sister, Marion Alcantara; and grandchildren, Jacob Boudreaux and Derek Thomas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin Sr. and Lucille Boudreaux.
He was a parishioner of St. Hilary Catholic Church and retired from Occidental Chemcial Company.

Corey “Lil Chene” Cheramie, 33, a native of Galliano and resident of Golden Meadow, died Nov. 29, 2002.
Visitation began at 10 a.m. and will be until 2 p.m. today at Golden Meadow First Baptist Church in Golden Meadow. A religious service will be held at 2 p.m. today at the church with burial at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery
in Golden Meadow.
He is survived by his parents, Lorraine Cheramie Reeves and Michael Cheramie; step-father, Russell Reeves; step-mother, Arlene Babin; girlfriend, Cathy Stein; four daughters, Josie, Anne Marie, Moira and Jessie; brother, Randy “Chene-wa” Cheramie; step-brothers, Chad and Brandon Reeves; sister, Natalie Prestenbach; sister-in-law, Rhonda Cheramie; brother-in-law, Glynn Prestenbach Jr.; step-sister, Amanda Reeves; two nephews, Trey Cheramie and Jaice Prestenbach; two nieces, Shaye Cheramie and Kelci Prestenbach; and step-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Reeves.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Levy Cheramie and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Cheramie.
He played guitar and drums. He was employed with Dolphin Marine Services.
Julienne Dardar
Julienne Ozea Billiot Dardar, 75, a native of Pointe aux Chenes and resident of Montegut, died at 8 a.m. Dec. 1, 2002.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Charles Catholic Church with burial at Bisland Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband Theo Dardar of Montegut; sons, Eulbert Dardar of Bourg and Gilbert Dardar of Pointe aux Chenes; daughters, Evelin Verdin of Pointe aux Chenes, Geraldine Dufrene of Lafitte and Brenda Solet of Gretna; two brothers, seven sisters, 17 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Aurelie Billiot and Louise Billiot; and sons, Robert and Hebert Dardar.
She was a homemaker and a parishioner at St. Charles Catholic Church.
Inez Devillier
Inez Lavergne Devillier, 89, a native of Chatanier and resident of Thibodaux, died at 10:30 p.m. Nov. 30, 2002.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at Thibodaux Funeral Home and 8 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial at the church cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Larry, Keyth and Phillip Devillier; daugthers, Pamela D. Dawson and Meryl D. Trahan; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis V. Devillier; parents, Archille and Pamela Miller Lavergne; daughter, Cherry Cauthron and Patricia Hart; brothers, Horace, Ramie, Leroy and Ivan Lavergne; sisters, Hazel Gauthier and Verla Boutte.

He is survived by his wife, Florence Tabor Landry; mother, Viola Legedre Landry; sons, Malcom and Charles Landry; daughters, Geraldine LaGraize, Lois Dugas, Melinda Waguespack and Melissa Rose; brothers, Eric, Valey, Wilson “June” Jr. and Leo Landry; sister, Una Landry Rodrigue; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wilson Landry Sr.; sister, Rena Landry Rodrigue; and one grandchild.
He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and an usher and grounds keeper at St. James Chapel.
Beatrice Sargent
Beatrice Waller Sargent, 93, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 26, 2002.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 to 11 a.m. at Morning Star Baptist Church on Brule Road in Thibodaux. The funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. today at the church. The dismissal will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church with burial at the church cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Alvin “A.J.” Sargent Sr. of New Orleans; brother, James Waller of Houma; 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Sargent; parents, Thomas and Cecelia Thibodaux Waller; son, Lloyd L. Sargent; sisters, Lena Green, Earlene Johnson and Rose Bell Williams; brothers, Irvin, Leonard and Raymond Waller.
She served on Usher Board No. 2 at Morning Star B.C. and was a member of the Beautification Club.
