Alyssa Michelle Case
Alyssa Michelle Case was born Nov. 8, 1988, and died May 29, 2002.
She was born and lived in Morgan City for 11 years and attended Holy Cross (Morgan City) and Berwick elementary schools. She has been a resident of Lafayette for the last two years and attended St. Cecilia School.
She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Jean and Bert Cantrell, both of Lafayette; her father, Ron Case of Bayou Vista; three sisters, Bobbie Case of Morgan City, and Ashley Doiron and Abbie Cantrell, both of Lafayette; a brother, Camron Case of Bayou Vista; her maternal grandmother, Mary Bouterie Breaux of Thibodaux; paternal grandfather Larry Case of Patterson; and a special friend, Dustin Minchew.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Richard Joseph Bouterie, and her paternal grandmother, Lynda Hebert Case.
She was a seventh grade honor student this year at St. Cecilia and an avid reader who loved to dance and cheer.
Family visitation will be Sunday, 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., at Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City.
Public visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday, with a rosary recited at 7 p.m.
Visitation will resume Monday, 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., at the funeral home.
Funeral services Monday will begin at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Morgan City. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery
in Thibodaux.
Pallbearers will be Ree Case, Rob Case, Nicholas Bouterie, Michael Bouterie, Blake Mouret and Andre Bougni.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the scholarship fund set up in memory of Alyssa at Central Catholic High School in Morgan City.
Books also may be donated to the St. Cecilia School library in Alyssa’s name.

IVY DAVID "MANN" CONCIENNE
Ivy David "Mann" Concienne, 70, a native and lifelong resident of Franklin, died at 10:50 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 9, 2003, at Franklin Foundation Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Mercedes Migues Concienne of Jeanerette; a son, Jed Concienne and wife, Rona, of Franklin; five daughters, Pam Aucoin and husband, Barry of Shadyside, Lisa Concienne of Euless, Texas , Sharon Caviness and husband J.T. of Franklin, Dawn Martin and husband Billy of Centerville and Becky Concienne of Centerville; two sisters, Wonderland Campbell and Ramona Boudreax, both of Franklin; 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Mr. Concienne was preceded in death by his parents, Adrian Concienne and Ida Angela Dupuis Concienne; three brothers, A.C., Daniel and Charles Ray Concienne; and two sisters, Violet Bodin and Helen Ashley.
Visitation will be Saturday, Oct. 11, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Ibert’s Mortuary. Services will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday at Little Pass Baptist Church in Charenton with interment to follow at Presbyterian Cemetery
in Centerville. The Revs. Bobby Hodnett and Jason Lupo will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Baptist College in Pineville, La.

HUGH VARNON DYKES
Hugh Varnon Dykes, 81, a native of Noble, La. and resident of Centerville, died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2004, at 12:17 p.m., at Dauterive Medical Center.
He is survived by his wife, Josie Hanagriff Dykes of Centerville; three daughters, Elizabeth Beter and Kimberly Bergeron, both of Mandeville, and Lynn Dodds of Carencro; one sister, Laverne Ackel of Oakdale; and five grandchildren.
Mr. Dykes was preceded in death by his father, David Dykes; mother, Pearl Dykes; four brothers; and one sister.
He was a member of the Franklin Lodge #557-F & AM Masons, Elder of Grace Presbyterian Church of Franklin, president of the Centerville Presbyterian Foundation, member of Woodmen of the World, member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and the Golden Age organization and received the St. Mary Parish AARP Citizen of the Month Award.
Mr. Dykes served as a member of the United States Navy in World War II and had retired from Cabot Corporation after 35 years of service.
Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, Jan. 31, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the Centerville Presbyterian Church.
A memorial service will be Saturday, at 11 a.m., at that church. Pat Wadesworth will officiate. interment will follow in the Presbyterian Cemetery
in Centerville.

ANDRIEL (ANGIE) FELTON
Andriel (Angie) Felton, 38, a resident and native of Franklin, died Thursday, July 15, 2003, at 4:15 p.m., at Dauterive Hospital in New Iberia, following a long illness.
She is survived by her parents, John and Veronica Felton of Franklin; grandparents, Francis Tillman of Franklin and Lillie Madison of Franklin; two sons, DeMarkus "Dee Dee" Felton and Jerric "Lil Jerry" Felton, both of Franklin; one daughter, Jenee’ "Nae" Felton of Franklin; one brother, James "Lil John" Felton of Franklin; three sisters, Mrs. Lionel (Paula) Jones Jr., Mrs. Nathan (Hope) Craft, both of Franklin, and Mrs. Kevin (Pam) Smith of St. Martinville; two grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends, and a very special friend, Svella Mouton.
Visitations will be observed Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the House of Prayer in Franklin.
Funeral rites will be read Saturday, at 2 p.m., at that church. interment will follow in the Franklin Cemetery

MARY HAWKINS FINE
Mrs. Mary Parker Hawkins Fine, 58, a resident and native of Verdunville, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2004, at 12:59 a.m., at Leonard Chabert Medical Center in Houma, following a short illness
She is survived by her husband, Michael J. Fine of Franklin; mother, Tempie Kirt Parker of Verdunville; one son, Jadon Hawkins of Lake Charles; three daughters, Valerie J. Weber and Dianna James of Franklin and Twana Mathews of Hampton, Virginia; four brothers, John Parker Jr. and Timothy Parker of Patterson, Charles Parker of Centerville and Adolph Parker Sr. of Houma; two sisters, Mary Stansberry and Rev. Rosie Austin of Verdunville; and 22 grandchildren.
Mrs. Fine was preceded in death by her father, her first husband one brother.
Visitations will be observed Saturday, Jan. 24, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the Otis Mortuary Chapel in Franklin.
Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 11 a.m., at the mortuary. interment will follow in the Little Zion Cemetery
in Verdunville.

CURTIS J. JACKSON
Mr. Curtis "Curt" James Jackson , 42, a resident of Baton Rouge for 24 years and native of Jeanerette (Four Corners), died Wednesday, December 4, 2007, at 8:02 p.m., at his mother’s residence in Jeanerette following a lengthy illness.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Hills Jackson of Baton Rouge; parents, Brenda Martin and Isaac and Annie L. Jackson of Jeanerette; two daughters, Ashley N. Charles of Lafayette and Tyranie B. Mitchell of Baton Rouge; two stepsons, Joseph and Michael Austin of Baton Rouge; four brothers, Herman Jackson and Darren Martin of Jeanerette, Mark Martin of Baldwin and Travis Jackson of San Diego, California; four sisters, Valaria Bowie of Jeanerette, Stacie Bacon of Asbury Park, New Jersey, Tanyita Stacy of Jackson ville, Florida and Tarsha Stacy of Kuwait; and one step grandchild.
Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Ester M. Martin; paternal grandparents, Arthur Jackson and Cora Bennett; and one grandson, Austin N. Charles.
He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and a devoted son. He was a great chef, loved to laugh and had many friends.
Visitation will be Monday, Dec. 10, beginning at 8 a.m. until time of services at St. Mark Baptist Church.
Services will be Monday, at 11 a.m., at St. Mark, 2414 4th St. in Jeanerette, with the Rev. Willie Roman Jr. officiating. interment will follow in the Sorrell Community Cemetery.

IRMA JACKSON
Irma “ 5cent” Jackson , 80, died Friday, November 27, 2009, at 8:02 a.m., at Franklin Foundation. She was a native of Ashton and a resident of Franklin.
Visitations will be Friday, Dec. 4 at Special Providence Church in Baldwin, from 10 a.m. until funeral service at 1p.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. W. J. Otis will officiate.
“5cent” is survived by two daughters, Delores Cooks of Franklin and Nellie Bob of Olevia, La.; a brother, Herman Wilson of Franklin; eight grandchildren; and other family and friends.

CATINA S. JACK
Catina Stewart Jack, 38, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Gibson, died Wednesday, June 15, 2011 in Thibodaux.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 22, at Sunlight Baptist Church in Schriever, from 10 a.m. until funeral at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Triumph Cemetery.
Catina leaves to cherish her memory her father, Roosevelt Stewart of Gibson; her husband, Larry Jack Jr. of Thibodaux; three sons, Larry Jack III, Jeremy Jack and Zion Jakai Wesley, all of Gibson; one daughter, Janaje Jack of Gibson; three brothers, Kevin Delco of Patterson, Donrell Stewart of Lafayette and Roosevelt Stewart of Thibodaux; and a host of relatives and friends.
Catina was preceded in death by her mother, Jeanette Delco and a brother.
