WORCESTER - Anna M. (Rano) Maile, 84, of Pakachoag Village, Auburn died Thursday in Autumn Village LLC after a brief illness.
Her beloved Husband John Maile, died in 1995
She is survived by her 2 children, Robert Maile, of Sutton and Linda Ceredona, of Oxford; she leaves 4 loving grandchildren, 4 loving great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by 2 brothers and 4 sisters.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Anthony and Antoinette (Palumbo) Ranauro.
She was educated in Worcester schools.
She worked as a shipper and receiver for the former MKM Co. in the Rochdale section of Leicester for many years.
The highlights of her life were the caring for her much - loved husband and loving family, her endless Italian cooking and her favorite place, her garden.
With Anna there was always "One more thing"…
She was a member of North American Martyrs' Church.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours from 4 - 7 PM on Sunday in the Britton - Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street, Auburn.
Her funeral will be held Monday from the funeral home with a Mass at 10:00 AM in North American Martyrs' Church, 8 Wyoma Drive, Auburn.
Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery.

Mary E. (Kelly) Ferguson
August 8, 1912 - August 31, 2007
Northborough - Mary E. (Kelly) Ferguson, 95, a resident of Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing facility in Northborough and formerly of Shrewsbury, MA, died Friday August 31.
Her husband, William L. Ferguson died in 1993.
She is survived by her son, Brian J. Ferguson of Swansea, and her daughter and her husband, Jean M. Sordillo and Donald A. Sordillo of Litchfield, NH.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late James P. Kelly and Mary (Scales) Kelly and graduated from South High School in 1929 and Becker Business School, now Becker College.
Until her retirement, Mrs. Ferguson was the Medical Librarian at Worcester State Hospital.
Prior to that she was the administrative assistant to the Superintendent of the Hospital.
She began working at the hospital in 1930.
She was a member of St. Mary's Church for more than 50 years.
She was a former member of the Shrewsbury Historical Association; she served on the Historic District Commission, and had been a member of Old Sturbridge Village and Tower Hill Botanical Garden for many years.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours from 5 - 7 PM Tuesday in the Britton - Shrewsbury Funeral Home, 648 Main Street.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday from the funeral home with a Mass celebrated at10 AM Wednesday in St. Mary's Church, 640 Main St.
Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.

Werner C. Single
May 15, 1916 - April 16, 2006
SHREWSBURY - Werner C. Single, 89, died peacefully on Sunday, April 16th in his home in Shrewsbury.
He is survived by a niece, Michelle Nelsen of Paxton and his nephew, Eric Single of Toronto, Canada.
Mr. Single was born in Stuttgart, Germany and cam to the United States in 1923.
He served in the United States Army during World War II and later attended Columbia University.
Before moving to Shrewsbury in 1996, Mr. Single commuted between his homes in New York and Fort Lauderdale.
In 1959, he founded his own import - export reporting business.
He was a world traveler, a patron of the arts, a bon vivant and favorite uncle.
His life was busy and he lived it well.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.

Angela J. Alicandro
August 15, 1981 - May 24, 2007
AUBURN/SHREWSBURY - Angela J. Alicandro, 25, of Auburn formerly of Shrewsbury died Thursday May 24th in Saint Vincent Hospital.
She leaves her mother and step - father, Deborah (Kondrot) Congdon and Matthew Congdon of Auburn; her father and step - mother, William P. Alicandro, Sr., and Darlene A. Alicandro of Shrewsbury; her brother, William P. Alicandro, Jr. of Auburn; a sister, Staff Sgt Stephanie A. Alicandro, USAF; maternal grandparents, Frank M. and Dolores Bottcher of Shrewsbury; her paternal grandmother, Dorothy Valente of Shrewsbury; a step - brother, C.J. Lavallee of Worcester; two step - sisters, Kimberly Lavallee of Hardwick and Sherrie Lavallee of Rutland.
Angela was born in Worcester and had lived in Shrewsbury for several years before moving to Auburn.
She graduated from Shrewsbury High School in 1999.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, baking, cooking and held at job at Wendy's Restaurant in Worcester.
She also loved all kinds of animals, especially dogs and cats.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Angela's funeral Mass on Wednesday, May 30th at 11 A.M. in Saint Mary's Church, 640 Main Street, Shrewsbury.
Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury.

Arlene (Stisitis) Pellerin
December 11, 1939 - October 8, 2007
AUBURN - Arlene (Stisitis) Pellerin, 67, of Pakachoag Village, died Monday in her home after a brief illness.
She is survived by her four children; David Pellerin of Auburn, and his wife Carol, Cynthia Blais, of Auburn, and her husband Michael, Sandra Witkowski of Leicester, and her husband Francis, Cheryl Reynolds of Charlton and her husband Timothy, she leaves her beloved grandchildren, Eric and Shawn VanDekop, Christopher Blais, Christine and Laura Pellerin, Heather and Jillian Witkowski, Brandon, Katharine and Emily Reynolds, also nephews and nieces.
Her brother William Stisitis predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Vincent and Helen (Grudzinskas) Stisitis; she was raised and educated in Worcester, graduating from the former High school of Commerce.
She worked for many years as a tool grinder at Wyman Gordon until her retirement.
She was an avid card player; she also loved to go camping, ride horses and square dance.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours from 5 - 8 PM Wednesday, in the Britton - Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St. Auburn.
Her funeral will be held from the funeral home with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph's Church, 189 Oxford Street, N. Auburn.
Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery.
