KEMMER, GLENN H. -- Glenn H. Kemmer, 78, died early Tuesday morning, December 25, 2007 following a brief illness.
Born in St. Marys, Pennsylvania on Apr. 3, 1929, he was raised and educated in Danvers and was a graduate of Danvers High School. He served his country in the US Coast Guard during the Korean War era.
Glenn was employed by GTE Sylvania for forty-one years and was a member of the Quarter Century Club there.
A longtime Danvers resident, he was a parishioner at St. Richard Church in Danvers where he served as an usher for many years.
He is survived by his children and their spouses: Robert and Linda Kemmer of Georgetown and Beth and Kevin Layfield of Beverly; 2 grandchildren: Justin and Michael Kemmer of Georgetown; and a brother and sister: James Kemmer and Lois Sheldon, both of Danvers.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 9AM in St. Richard Church, 90 Forest St., Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited. As requested, there are no visiting hours and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Glenns name may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, PO Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250.

CONLEY, HILLERY F. -- Hillery F. Conley, 59, died Saturday evening, December 22, 2007 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of David Conley, with whom she shared 37 years of marriage.
Born in Danvers on October 24, 1948, Hillery was the daughter of the late Theodore and Marie (McCathern) Patten. She was raised and educated in Danvers and was a graduate of Danvers High School, Class of 1966.
Hillery was employed as a registered nurse for nearly thirty years. During her career, she was employed at Wentworth-Douglas Hospital, Frisbee Hospital in Rochester, and Langdon Place in Dover, NH.
She enjoyed spending time at the beach, especially Wallace Sands in Rye, NH, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children and their spouses: Darien and Carlos Huaman of Salem and Jason and Crystal Conley of Strafford, NH, a brother, Theodore Patten; two sisters, Cynthia and Janice; and three grandchildren: Nathan, Alexandra, and Lucia.
A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Saturday at 10AM in the Northshore Unitarian Universalist Church, 323 Locust St., Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited. As requested, there are no visiting hours. Kindly omit flowers. Donations in Hillerys name may be made to Hospice of the North Shore, 10 Elm St., Danvers, MA 01923.

BRIGGS, (BENNETT) VIRGINIA -- of Danvers, 83, Virginia E. (Bennett) Briggs, died Dec. 22, 2007 following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Ralph Briggs.
Born in Danvers on Sept. 28, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Carrie (Hartman) Bennett. She was raised and educated in Danversport. Virginia was a graduate of Holten High School. Mrs. Briggs was employed with Sylvania in Danvers and Woburn for over 20 years. She resided at Littlebrook Village in Topsfield for six years.
She is survived by a brother Bertram Bennett of AZ, two step-daughters Barbara Casino and Patricia Campbell, three step-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings, Rodney, Frank and Donald Bennett and Mary Trenoweth, Marion Harris and Shirley Kimber.
A graveside service will be held at 10AM on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007 in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. In lieu of flowers memorial donation may be made in Virginias name to the Danvers People to People Food Pantry, P.O. Box 2076, Danvers, MA 01923.

KOWALSKI, THEODORE L.of Peabody, 81, passed away Dec. 18, 2007. He was the husband of Pauline (Joyce) Kowalski.
Born in Salem on May 17, 1926, he was the son of the late Frank and Maryanna (Majka) Kowalski. Mr. Kowalski was employed as a purchasing agent for many years prior to his retirement. A World War II United States Army Veteran, he served in France and Germany with the Third Infantry Division.
Besides his wife Pauline, he is survived by a daughter and son in-law, Ann and Jim Tomes of Danvers, a son and daughter-in-law, David and Debra Kowalski of Peabody, a grandson Daniel Kowalski of Peabody, a brother Edmund Kowalski and his wife, Delphine of Danvers and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by siblings, Stanley Kowalski, Alice Mahoney, Carolyn Vaughn, Jane Quimby Wake and Victoria Kohn.
A private service was held. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Mr. Kowalskis name to the Hospice of the North Shore, 10 Elm St., Danvers. Arrangements are made by C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers.

MCINNIS, MARGARET -- Margaret L. (Barrett) McInnis, 85, died Thursday morning at a local nursing facility following a lengthy illness. She was the loving wife of Charles E. McInnis, with whom she shared 60 ½ years of marriage.
Born in East Boston on June 30, 1922, she was the daughter of the late James and Julia (Murphy) Barrett. She was raised and educated in Medford and was a graduate of Medford High School. She had been a Danvers resident for over sixty years.
Mrs. McInnis was a member of the former St. Alphonsus Parish in Danvers, where she had been active in the Catholic Daughters of America. She was a member of the Danvers Garden Club and a member of the Danvers River Committee for many years.
In Addition to her husband, she is survived by her children and their spouses: Maureen and Kenneth Emery of Belmont, Patricia and David Taatjes of Danvers, Charles and Estelle McInnis of Danvers, and James McInnis of Beverly; 6 grandchildren: Keith and Meghan Emery, Allison and Christopher Taatjes, and Matthew and Alexa McInnis; a sister, Louise Cuddy of Medford, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers and sister: James, Harold, and Rita Barrett.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 12:30PM in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. Visiting hours are Sunday from 1-5PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. In lieu of flowers, donations in Margarets name may be made to Hospice of the North Shore, 10 Elm St., Danvers, MA 01923.

COLLINS, LOIS AFTON of Stratham, NH, formerly of Danvers, died Dec. 16, 2007 following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late William J. Collins, M.D.
Born in Danvers on March 28, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Ethel (Jaques) Prince. She was raised and educated in Danvers and was a graduate of Holten High School, Class of 1937. She attended the Salem Hospital School of Nursing and also attended the New England Conservatory of Music. Mrs. Collins was employed as a Registered Nurse with Salem Hospital and also Philips Exeter Academy.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law and three sons and four daughters-in-law, Dorothy and Phillip Laforme of Danvers, James and Kathleen Collins of Byfield, Barbara and Raymond Anderson of Chester, NH, Dennis and Brenda Collins of Lynn, Barry and Susan Collins of Stratham, NH and Patricia Collins Hobbs of VA, 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Brenda and son William J., Jr., D.D.S. and siblings, Shirley Fogg, John Prince and Thelma Stewart.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, Dec. 21, 2007 at 11AM in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Burial will immediately follow in Annunciation Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held prior to the Funeral Mass from 9:30 AM -10:30AM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St. Danvers. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Alzheimers Assoc., 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.

DERRIVAN, PAUL C. -- Paul C. Derrivan, 92, a Danvers resident for nearly sixty years, died Saturday morning, December 15, 2007 at a local nursing facility following a lengthy illness. He was the husband of the late Mary E. (Healy) Derrivan.
Born in Salem on Dec. 23, 1914, Paul was the son of the late Frank and Alice (Richardson) Connors. He was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School.
For thirty-five years, Paul was employed at Danvers State Hospital as a steam fireman. Following his retirement, he worked for many years at the former Brooks Market in Danvers Square and was a crossing guard for the Town of Danvers for more than twenty years.
A communicant of St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, Paul was a member of the Holy Name Society and the former Mr. & Mrs. Club. He was a Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, Thomas E. Power Council #1505.
He is survived by two daughters: Carol A. Morrissey of Danvers and Margaret M. Purington and her husband Richard of Danvers; a son, Paul C. Derrivan Jr. and his wife Angela of Peabody; five grandchildren: Paula LeBlanc, Kevin, Brian, and Shawn Derrivan, and Christopher Purington; nine great-grandchildren; a longtime companion, Ann Edwards; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers and sisters: Robert and Frank Connors, Mary Jameson, and Dorothy Chyluk.
The Derrivan family is grateful for the loving care Paul received from the staff at Hunt Nursing Home in Danvers during his illness.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 12 noon in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting Hours are Tuesday from 4-8PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. SANECHIARO, ANNA -- Anna M. (Fitzpatrick) Sanechiaro, 99, died early Tuesday morning, Dec. 11, 2007 at a local nursing home following a brief illness. She was the loving wife of the late Christie Sanechiaro, with whom she shared over seventy years of marriage.
Born in Revere on Apr. 26, 1908, she was the daughter of the late Fergus and Margaret (Shields) Fitzpatrick. She was raised and educated in Revere and was a graduate of Revere High School.
Mrs. Sanechiaro had been a Danvers resident for over fifty years.
A proud Irish woman and an accomplished homemaker, she was a talented cook and a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her children: John Buddy Sanechiaro and his wife Elizabeth of Revere and Rita LaChance of Danvers; 4 grandchildren: Carol Strout, William LaChance, James Sanechiaro, and Donna Sanechiaro Massi; seven great-grandchildren: Annie, Emily, Laura, Kate, James, Suzanne, and Peri; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters: John, Francis, Mary, Julia, and Margaret, and her son-in-law, Albert LaChance.
Her Funeral Service will be celebrated on Thursday at 11AM in C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation will precede the service from 10-11AM.

WYTHE, KENNETH R. -- Kenneth R. Wythe, 72, formerly of Reading, died Wednesday evening at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers following an extended illness. He was the loving husband of Helen (Donovan) Wythe, with whom he shared nearly fifty years of marriage.
Born in Boston on December 11, 1934, he was the son of the late Harry and Ann (Donovan) Wythe. He was a graduate of BC High School and Boston College, Class of 1957. Mr. Wythe served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam era. He was a Reading resident for thirty-six years and had made his home in Danvers for the last ten years.
He was employed by Raytheon for several years.
A loving father and grandfather, he enjoyed his time as a hockey referee and was an avid golfer.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children and their spouses: Nancy and Jeffrey Sands of Tewksbury and Kevin and Stacie Wythe of Lynnfield; and five grandchildren: Kevin, Francesca, and Christopher Wythe and Kara and Erin Sands.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 11AM in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation will precede the Funeral Mass from 9:30-10:45 Monday morning at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. FROST, BRADLEY G. -- Bradley G. Frost, 66, died Wednesday evening, November 28, 2007 at Anna Jacques Hospital after being stricken at his home. He was the loving husband of Michele (McDevitt) Frost, with whom he shared 42 years of marriage.
Born in Cambridge on Aug. 5, 1941, he was the son of Gilbert and Gertrude (Pratley) Frost of Newburyport. He was raised and educated in Belmont and was a graduate of Belmont High School, Class of 1963. A resident of Danvers for several years, Brad was a resident of Topsfield for twenty-five years before recently moving to Newbury.
In recent years, Brad was employed as Director of Security at the Ipswich Country Club and had been employed in the circulation department at the Boston Herald for several years. He had served the Town of Danvers as a reserve police officer and the Town of Topsfield as a call firefighter and a parks and cemeteries commissioner.
Brad enjoyed volunteering his time as a little league coach and had been active in the Masons. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was a caring father and grandfather.
In addition to his wife and parents, he leaves four children and their spouses: Kristie and William Henault of Barrington, NH; Kimberly and Mark Allsup of Charlestown, RI; Scott and Catherine Frost of Beverly; and Shawn and Laura Frost of Seabrook, NH; two sisters: Lois Frost of FL and Marilyn Frost of Tyngsboro; and five grandchildren: Madeleine and Jennifer Frost, Zachary Henault, and Nicholas and Kaitlyn Allsup.
He was predeceased by a brother, Stephen Frost.
His Funeral Service will be celebrated on Monday at 10AM in Trinity Episcopal Church, 124 River Rd., Topsfield. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Sunday from 3-7PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Donations in Brads name may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 51 Blossom St., Boston, MA 02114.
