Jonathan B. Golden
Jonathan B. Golden, 44, died December 18, 2001 of pancreatic cancer at his home in Belmont, Massachusetts.
He leaves his wife, Carol A. Fusaro of Belmont; his mother, Naomi Golden of Wellfleet, Massachusetts; a sister, Sarah Schulman of Tucson, Arizona; and four brothers, Robert of Middletown, Connecticut, and Daniel, Thomas, and Paul, all of New York City. His father, Dr. Archie J. Golden, died in 1986.
Mr. Golden was born in Hartford, Connecticut, and was raised in Wethersfield, Connecticut. He graduated from Wethersfield High School in 1975. He earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of New Hampshire in 1979, and a master's degree in environmental engineering from Northeastern University in 1993. He was a longtime resident of Belmont.
Mr. Golden was a registered professional engineer in Maine, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. For more than 20 years, he worked with officials of Massachusetts communities, local conservation boards, and regional and state agencies to design and develop water-pollution-control facilities. He was a principal engineer and manager of the Boston office of Montgomery Watson Harza. Among his numerous projects there, Mr. Golden most recently managed the rehabilitation of the South Ottawa Tunnel, in Ottawa, Ontario. He previously worked for 19 years at Metcalf & Eddy in Wakefield, Massachusetts, including an overseas assignment in Alexandria, Egypt. Mr. Golden also worked to protect water quality in the Charles River and Alewife Brook.
Mr. Golden was a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Boston Society of Civil Engineers, the New England Water Environment Association, and the Water Environment Federation.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 22, at 2:00pm at The First Church in Belmont, Unitarian Universalist, 404 Concord Ave., Belmont. Beloved wife of the late Paul J. Govostes.
Devoted mother of Robert Govostes of East Boston, and Debra Govostes of Woburn.
Loving daughter of the late Everett and Rose (Ristiano) White .
Dear sister of Dolores Urciuoli of East Boston, Joseph White of New Hampshire, Marie Giardina and her husband John of East Boston, Kenneth White of New Hampshire, and Dennis White and his wife Carol of Lowell.
Beloved friend of Thomas Lima of East Boston. Also lovingly survived by many special nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Ruggiero-Mazzarella Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street (Orient Heights) East Boston on Saturday October 30th, 2004 at 9:00am. Funeral Mass in St. Joseph - St. Lazarus Church, 59 Ashley Street, East Boston at 10:00am. Visiting hours are on Friday from 4:00pm to 9:00pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
Rosemarie, or 'Chickie' as many knew her, was born in Boston in 1939. She was a lifelong resident of East Boston and worked for many years as a secretary for A.A. Dority Co. of Boston. Rosemarie passed away with her loving family at her bedside at the East Pointe Nursing Care Facility in Chelsea after a brief illness. She was 65 years of age.

James K. Graham

James was born in Scotland in 1932 and came to the United States at a young age. He worked for many years as a technological engineer in several different industries. James passed away after a brief illness at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. He was aged 70 years.

Loving grandmother of Renee Bartholemew and her husband Dominic, Kimberly and Kelaine Vernarelli, Dana Knight and her husband Steve, Michael Ciarcia, Joseph Ciarcia Jr. and his wife Lynda. Adored great grandmother of Jordan Bartholemew, Alexandra Hilliard, Zachary Knight and Madison Ciarcia.

Grace was born in Italy in 1914. She came to the United States at a young age and was a homemaker and devoted mother. Grace passed away at home surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness. She was 90 years of age.
