Leon - Ana L. of Dorchester passed away on Tuesday October 29th, 2002 in her 90th year.

Beloved wife of the late Francisco Leon.

Devoted mother of Angela and Rosa Maria. Dear step-mother of Wilson Leon Sr.

Loving grandmother of Roberto, Rosa, Alex, Juan Sr., Johnny, Little Mickey, Irma, Frankie, Irkleris, Sagrado, Giovanni, O'Brien, Cathy, O'Cyris, Jovanny, Robertico, Jonathan, Jenniffer, Juan Jr., Miguelina, Cindy, Klebel, Robyn, Greysi, Jova, Daniel, Brigido, Wilson Jr., Alexis, and Adabill.

Visiting hours in the Ruggiero-Mazzarella Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street (Orient Heights) East Boston on Friday November 1st from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday morning, November 2nd, in the St. Ambrose Church, 240 Adams Street, Dorchester at 10:00am.

Ana was born in the Dominican Republic and came to the United States in 1975. She was a homemaker. Ana passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.

The Memorial Home is handicapped accessible and a children's lounge is available. Courtesy valet parking at the front entrance and ample off street parking is also available. For transportation to the memorial home please call 617-569-0990.

Services will conclude with Ana being laid to rest at the Fairview Cemetery in Hyde Park.

Raymond Anthony LoPilato Sr.

June 13, 1925 - October 2, 2001

LoPilato - Raymond Anthony Sr. of Wakefield on Tuesday October 2, 2001 at home after a long illness.

Beloved husband of Mary Ann (Fortado). Devoted father of Raymond Jr. and Doris LoPilato, both of Wakefield, and Paul LoPilato of Lynn. Dear brother of Frank LoPilato of Arizona, Antoinette Interbartolo of Everett, and Salvatore LoPilato of Melrose. Also lovingly survived by many very special nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to a Memorial Mass celebrating Raymond's life on Friday October 5th at the Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 155 Main Street, Wakefield (at the Melrose line) at 11:30am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Raymond's memory may be made to the Winter Special Olympics of Massachusetts, 450 Maple Street Building 7, Danvers MA 01923.

A self employed plumber, Ray started his career as a pipe fitter on Navy ships in San Diego CA during World War II. He was one of the first local plumbers to use hot water from a steam boiler as a separate zone forced hot water baseboard heat. He serviced commercial and residential customers for the past 50 years. In his leisure time Ray enjoyed golf until the day he threw his clubs into the lake at Mt. Hood. His real passion was alpine skiing. He was a lifetime pass holder at Wildcat Mountain in New Hampshire where he also served as a ski instructor. His love of skiing lead him to Cortina D'Ampezzo in the Italian Dolomites, where he made many friends and enjoyed the good life for the past 27 years. I am the diamond that glints on snow. Ray's Rules: "non dimenticare niente"

Francis J. MacDonald

March 14, 1933 - September 27, 2003

Macdonald - Francis J. of Winthrop, passed away on Saturday September 27th, 2003.

Son of the late Alice MacDonald and husband of the late Mary MacDonald.

Father of Francis and his wife Patricia, Scott, and Christopher.

Grandfather of Keith and Kevin MacDonald.

Funeral Service in our chapel at the Ruggiero-Mazzarella Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street (Orient Heights) East Boston on Tuesday September 30th at 6:00pm. Visiting is prior to the service from 4:00pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.

Francis was born in Winthrop in 1933. He served his country in the US Army and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. Francis was a retired Boston Police Officer (Tactical Patrol Force) and a recipient of the Boston Police Department Medal of Honor. He was also a past Third Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Fitton Council. After a brief illness, he passed away at the New England Medical Center at age 70 years.

Elena D. Maglio

April 9, 1912 - August 4, 2001

Maglio - Elena D. "Helen" (DeLuca) of East Boston on Saturday August 4, 2001. Beloved wife of the late Anthony Maglio.

Devoted mother of Maria Maglio and Paula Lima both of East Boston. Dear sister of the late Romeo and Antonio DeLuca. Cherished grandmother of Amy Lima, Anthony Lima and David Maglio. Also survived by her loving in-laws, Louis and Therese Maglio, Jennie and Mike Moschella, Mary Maglio and Anthony Venezia, as well as many nieces, nephews and close friends, all of whom she loved dearly.

Funeral from the Ruggiero-Mazzarella Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street (Orient Heights) East Boston on Wednesday August 8 at 9:00am. Funeral Mass in St.Mary Star of the Sea Church, 63 Moore Street, East Boston at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours are on Tuesday from 2:00pm to 4:00pm, and from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.

Elena was born in Boston in 1912. She worked for over 30 years for the Boston Juvenile Court. Elena passed away in her home surrounded by her family. She was 89 years old.

Services will conclude with Elena being laid to rest with her late husband Anthony at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.

Mary Maglio (Carideo)

December 15, 1923 - April 17, 2006

Maglio - Mary (Carideo) of East Boston, passed away on Monday April 17th, 2006.

Beloved wife of the late Joseph Maglio.

Devoted mother of Jeannie Petrillo of East Boston, James Maglio, and JoAnne Mirabello, both of Saugus.

Loving grandmother of Michael, Stacy, Lisa, Jason, Jamie and Mark.

Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Ruggiero-Mazzarella Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street (Orient Heights) East Boston on Thursday April 20th, 2006 at 9:00am. Funeral Mass in St.Joseph-St.Lazarus Church, 59 Ashley Street, East Boston at 10:00am.

Visiting hours are on Wednesday April 19th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.

Mary was born in Boston in 1923 and was a devoted mother and homemaker. She passed away surrounded by her loving family at the Transitional Rehabilitation Center in Sturgis Street, Winthrop after a brief illness. Mary was 82 years of age.
