Crowley and Laurie A. Ekstrom; brother of Richard, Robert and Ronald Frazier, Evelyn Henault, Eleanor Ritchie, Barbara Pearson and Ruth Preti; also leaves 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral will be held from the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St., Middleboro, on Saturday at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial in Sacred Heart Church, Centre Street, Middleboro, at 10. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Donations in his memory to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Assn., P.O. Box 7148, Covington, WA 98042-0041, would be appreciated.

FREEMAN

Of Brentwood, N.H., formerly of West Bridgewater, in Boston Sept. 6, 2004, David A. Freeman, husband of Rita M. (Dion) Freeman; father of Denice Ann Deibel of Stoughton, Diane M. Freeman of Epping, N.H., and Jessica L. Freeman of Brentwood, N.H.; brother of Pete Freeman of Wareham, Walter and Kevin Freeman, both of Taunton, Barry Freeman of Brockton, Paul Freeman of Oklahoma and Carol Simons of Somerset, and the late Jeff and Richard Freeman; grandfather of James, Sarah, Amanda and Kristin. Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held in the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave. (Rt. 138 south), Taunton, on Friday at 7 p.m. Visiting hours from 4-7 p.m. Interment at the convenience of the family at a later date.

GEORGE

Of Whitman, formerly of Randolph, Sept. 6, Mary E. (Fenton), wife of the late Gordon L. George; mother of G. Stephen of Abington, Michael of Braintree, Brian and Peter, both of Whitman, and Christopher of Texas ; sister of Madeleine Sullivan of Washington ; also survived by 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A memorial Mass will be held Friday at St. Bridget's Church in Abington at 9 a.m. Funeral arrangements were made from the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 South Main St. (Rt. 28), Randolph. Donations may be made in Mary's memory to St. Bridget's Restoration Fund, 455 Plymouth St., Abington, MA 02351.

MacPHERSON

Norman C. of Plymouth, 80, on Sept. 7 at home; survived by his beloved wife Elfriede "Ellie" (Blum) of Plymouth; his daughter, Donna Murphy of Glendale, Ariz.; and his stepchildren, Peter Slason and Shawn Slason, both of Mt. Holly, N.J., and Deborah Sullivan of Bradford. He also leaves his brothers, Robert of Georgia, Donald of Florida and Carlton of Connecticut; his sisters, Dorothy Dickson of Florida, Ruth Bidwell of Georgia and Beverly Osborne of Florida; and seven step-grandchildren; father of the late Mark MacPherson. A funeral service will be held on Friday, Sept. 10, at the Swift Memorial United Methodist Church in Bourne at 1 p.m., followed by interment at the National Cemetery in Bourne. There are no visiting hours. Arrangements made by the Richard Davis Funeral Homes of Plymouth and Manomet. WWII U.S. Navy, serving on the USS Smith in the Pacific earning six battle stars.

Of Brockton, Sept. 6, 2004, Ramon Rodriguez, 45 years, husband of Marta (Torres) Rodriguez; father of Aneliz Rodriguez, Raymond Rodriguez and Julyana Rodriguez; grandfather of Jariel Ramon; son of Anastacia Rodriguez and the late Filomeno Roman; brother of Filomeno Roman, Jose Roman, Bernardo Navarro, Ana F. Rosario and Cecilio Cruz, all of Boston. Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St. (Rt. 123), Brockton, on Friday at 8 a.m., thence to St. Patrick Church, 335 Main St., Brockton, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 9.
