Elinor C. (Cobbett) Hubley, 83, died early Saturday morning at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. A lifelong resident of Stoughton, she was educated in Stoughton schools. She was a secretary at Stoughton Schools for many years before retiring several years ago. In her free time she enjoyed gardening.
Mrs. Hubley is survived by her daughter, Pamela W. Billings and her husband Wallace of Hanson, as well as her grandson, Scott Billings of Hanson. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Carolyn Cobbett and Elizabeth Tyrer, as well as her former husband, Warren Hubley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday at 10: 30 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday 5-8 PM. Donations in Elinor's memory may be sent to Alzheimer's Assn., 36 Cameron Ave., Cambridge, 02140-1102. Burial will take at Evergreen Cemetery in Stoughton at a later date.

JOSEPHINE P. SOUSA
Visiting Hours: Sunday, January 26, 2003, 2-5 PM.
Funeral Mass: Monday, January 27, 2003, 10: 15 AM, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., Stoughton.
Josephine P. Sousa, 76, died Wednesday, January 22 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. She was the daughter of the late Severino N. and Matilda L. (Perry) Sousa. Born in Lowell, she was educated in Stoughton and Wrentham schools. She lived for many years in Stoughton and Brockton before taking up residence in Canterbury Woods, Attleboro. She loved reading in her free time.
She is survived by her brother, Frederick Sousa of Rehoboth and many nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Helen Spadea, Ruth E. Lonergan, Richard Sousa, John P. Sousa and Anne V. Sousa.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday at 9: 30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10: 15 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday from 2-5 PM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Stoughton.

MARIA C. (FERREIRA) ALVES
Visiting Hours: Friday, January 24, 2003, 5-8 PM.
Funeral Mass: Saturday, January 25, 2003, 9 AM, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., Stoughton.
Maria C. (Ferreira) Alves, 59, died Tuesday, January 21, at her home in Stoughton. She was the wife of the late Jose Alves. Born in San Miguel, Azores, Portugal, she lived in Bermuda for most of her life. She was a resident of Stoughton for 10 years. Mrs. Alves worked as a homemaker.
She leaves her children, Leonore Andreae of CA, Ivone Alves of NY and Sandra Alves of Stoughton. She was the grandmother of Eric Andreae, Thomas Andreae and Nicholas Andreae.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday at 8: 15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Friday 5-8 PM. Donations in Maria's memory may be sent to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, 01701. Burial will be private in Bermuda.

CAROL BELKNAP (EVERETT) FRASER
Visiting Hours: Friday, January 24, 2003, 5-8 PM.
Funeral Service: Saturday, January 25, 2003, 10 AM, St. Mary's Chapel at Stonehill College, 320 Washington St, Easton.
Carol Belknap (Everett) Fraser, former Director of the Stonehill College Library, died Monday at the Health South-New England Rehab Hospital in Woburn. She was 85. Mrs. Fraser was born in Glen Ridge, NJ and was a graduate of Norwood High. She also was a graduate of Colby Jr. College, the University of New Hampshire and earned her Degree in Library Science at Simmons College in Boston. She and her late husband Ronald J. Fraser were married Feburary 29, 1952 in Kobe, Japan. She was a resident of Stoughton for over 43 years and as a lover of the ocean, spent her summers in Manomet. Mrs. Fraser worked for several years in the Brookline Public Library. She also spent several years in the Special Services of the US Army in Germany, Japan, Ft. Dix, NJ and Ft. Devens, MA. Mrs. Fraser was a trustee at the Stoughton Public Library, the President of the Friends of Stoughton Library and a member of the Stoughton Women's Club.
She leaves her daughters, Leslie A. Fraser and her husband Jack Cazolick of Colrain, MA and Claire E. Landry and her husband Philip of Acton. She was the sister of Bettina Cottrell of Norwood. She also leaves her grandchildren, Carolyn F. Landry, Christine S. Landry and Douglas P. Landry all of Acton.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Chapel at Stonehill College, Easton at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Friday 5-8 PM. Donations in Carol's memory may be sent to Stoughton Public Library, 84 Park St, Stoughton 02072 or to Stonehill College Library, 320 Washington St., Easton 02357. Burial to follow at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.

SILVIO PULITI
Visiting Hours: Tuesday, January 21, 2003, 4-8 PM.
Funeral Mass: Wednesday, January 22, 2003, 9 AM, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., Stoughton.
Silvio Puliti, 69, owner of International Food Gourmet in Brockton, died Friday, January 17 at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a long period of failing health. He was the husband of Giovanna R. (Lenzi-Simonetti) Puliti. Born in Leone, France, he lived in France until the age of 9. He then moved to Italy where he lived until 1958 when he came to the United States and settled in Boston. Mr. Puliti was a resident of Stoughton since 1966. He was the owner of the International Food Gourmet in Brockton. He started the business in 1978. Known for his generosity, he greatly enjoyed his work. He was active in Stoughton Youth Soccer. In his free time, he enjoyed painting and spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife Giovanna, he leaves his son, Nedo R. of Pocasset, and four daughters, Adelina E. Armas, Patricia J. Puliti and Lisa A. Areniello all of Stoughton, and Sandra F. Puricelli of Brockton. He was the brother of Max Bruno Puliti of Italy and is also survived by 7 grandsons and 2 granddaughters. He was predeceased by his son Massimo.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday at 8: 15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at the Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday 4-8 PM. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.

BARBARA J. (SAWYER) SNYDER
Visiting Hours: Monday, January 20, 2003, 5-8 PM.
Funeral Service: Tuesday, January 21, 2003, 11 AM, Farley Funeral Home.
Barbara J. (Sawyer) Snyder, 40, died Thursday, January 16, 2003 at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a long battle with cancer. She was the wife of Howard M. Snyder. Born in Stoughton, she attended West Bridgewater Schools and was a graduate of West Bridgewater High School. She also attended Bridgewater State College. She has been a resident of Stoughton since 1986. Mrs. Snyder worked as a Special Needs Teacher's Assistant in the Stoughton Public Schools for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and crafts. Above all, Barbara loved kids and spending time with her children.
In addition to her husband Howard M. Snyder, she leaves her children, Michael H. Snyder and Rachael S. Snyder both of Stoughton. She was the daughter of Jeanette (Conant) Sawyer of Brockton and the late Herbert S. Sawyer, Jr. She also leaves her sisters Kathleen A. DiGangi and Dianne E. Amirault both of Brockton. She was the aunt of Samantha Amirault, Danyelle Barbara Amirault and Jason M. Amirault.
Funeral services will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday at 11 AM. Visiting Hours Monday 5-8 PM. Donations in Barbara's memory may be made to the Moakley Cancer Center at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center, 235 N. Pearl St., Brockton, MA 02301. The Snyder Family also invites friends and family to the VFW Post 1645 in Stoughton following the funeral services on Tuesday. Burial will be private.

ELEANOR V. "HELEN" (VIECELLI) TOY

Funeral Service: Tuesday, January 21, 2003, 10 AM, Farley Funeral Home.
Eleanor V. "Helen" (Viecelli) Toy, 84, died Wednesday, January 15, at the Carney Hospital in Dorchester after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Clarence R. Toy. Born in Boston, she was a graduate of Boston Schools. She has been a resident of Braintree for about 15 years and previously lived in Dorchester. She worked as a Waitress at Waldorf's Restaurant in Dorchester. In her free time, she loved playing Bingo.
She is survived by her children, Robert Viecelli of Randolph, Barbara Harris of FL, James R. and Richard A. both of Stoughton, Anthony J. of FL and Janet M. of Quincy. Sister of Catherine Dawyskiba of Hull and Bertha Parson of AZ, formerly of Wilmington. Also survived by 17 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Monday 5-9 PM.

ALBANO F. ROCHA

Funeral Mass: Saturday, January 18, 2003, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., Stoughton.
Albano F. Rocha, 92, died Wednesday, January 15, 2003 at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Joaquina. Born in Flores, Azores, Portugal, he had been a resident of Stoughton for the past 4 years. Mr. Rocha lived in Stoughton many years ago and returned to Portugal after his retirement. He worked as a carpenter and builder. In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking, walking, dancing and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his children: Jose Rocha of CA, Alice Gomes of Portugal and Maria Odete Fraga of Stoughton. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Friday 5-9 PM. Donations in Albano's memory may be sent to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6931 Arlington Road, Bethesda, Maryland 20814. Burial will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.

DEREK J. POLILLIO
Visiting Hours: Thursday, April 17, 2003, 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
Funeral Blessing: Friday, April 18, 2003, 9 AM, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton Street, Stoughton.
Derek J. Polillio, 30, died suddenly on Monday while vacationing in Tampa, FL. Born in Norwood, he was a longtime resident of Stoughton. Mr. Polillio was a 1990 graduate of Stoughton High School. As a youth, he was active in local sports. He worked as a carpenter. Mr. Polillio enjoyed spending time with his friends, fishing, riding jet skis and snowmobiles and golf. Above all, he enjoyed spending time and napping with his beloved son Darius.
In addition to his son, Darius, he is survived by his parents; Phyllis A. (Matarazzo) and Anthony E. Polillio, Jr. of Stoughton. He was the brother of Anthony E. Polillio III of Stoughton. Derek was the grandson of Anthony E. Polillio, Sr. of Stoughton, Josephine Palumbo of Medfield and the late Constance Polillio and Rebel Palumbo. He is also survived by his love Jennifer Picanco and her parents Antonio and Ondina Picanco all of Stoughton and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday at 8: 15 AM followed by a Funeral Blessing at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9AM. Visiting Hours Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Donations in Derek's memory may be made to the Darius J. Polillio Fund, Eastern Bank, 297 Washington St., Stoughton, 02072 or to the American Kidney Foundation, 6110 Executive Blvd., Suite 1010, Rockville, MD 20852. Interment will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.

LAWRENCE E. "LARRY" BARKER
Visiting Hours: Thursday, April 17, 4-8 PM.
Funeral Blessing, Friday, April 18, 9 AM, Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 433 West Street, Brockton.
Lawrence E. "Larry" Barker, 76, died unexpectedly at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Sunday, April 13. He was the husband of Elaine V. (Hector) Barker for 47 years. Born in Revere, Mr. Barker graduated from Revere High School Class of 1945. He resided in Stoughton for 37 years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. Mr. Barker was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Dorchester Center for 35 years before retiring in 1989. He was a member of NARFE, National Association of Retired Federal Employees. He was also a member of the Sons of the Union Veterans of the Civil War. Mr. Barker was a longtime usher at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Brockton. In his free time, Mr. Barker enjoyed working in his yard and garage and spending time with his family.
Along with his wife Elaine, Mr. Barker is survived by his daughters, Gayle M. Barker-Earle and Denise A. Heggie both of Stoughton as well as his grandchildren, Sean A. Earle and his wife Angela T. Hunter-Earle and Justin L. Heggie all of Stoughton. He was preceded in death by 7 brothers and sisters. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and his dog, Ashley.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Blessing at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Brockton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Interment will take place at VA National Cemetery in Bourne. Donations in Larry's memory may be sent to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 433 West St., Brockton, 02301.
