EDWARD J. GATELY

Funeral Mass: Tuesday, June 3, 10 AM, Saint Gerard Majella Church, 1860 Washington Street, Canton.
Edward J. Gately, 85, died Saturday at the Hancock Park Nursing and Rehab Center in Quincy after a period of failing health. He was the husband of the late Genevieve M. (Jolley) Gately. Born in Boston, he was attended Roxbury Schools and was a graduate of Mission High School, Class of 1936. Mr. Gately was a WW II Veteran of the US Army and was stationed in Germany. During his time in the service, he received the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart. Upon returning to Boston, he worked as a Police Officer for the City of Boston for a short time and retired due to a work related injury. He then started Gately Painting and Paperhanging in Canton where he worked until his retirement 20 years ago.
Mr. Gately is survived by his children; Barbara A. Lordan of Marshfield, William J. of Plymouth, Robert E. of Canton and Elaine M. of Weymouth. He was the Brother of Frances Stapleton of Brockton and the late Eleanor MacDonald. He is also survived by his granddaughters, Michelle Lordan, Kristin Lordan, Hillary, Courtney and Jenna Gately.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Gerard Majella Church, Canton at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Monday 5-8 PM. Donations in Ed's memory may be made to Rosie's Place, 889 Harrison Ave., Boston, 02118. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Canton.

TERESA M. BERGEN
Visiting Hours: Friday, May 30, 7-9 PM.
Funeral Mass: Saturday, May 31, 9 AM, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton Street, Stoughton.
Teresa M. Bergen, 78, died Tuesday at the Copley at Stoughton Nursing Home in Stoughton. Born and raised in Boston, she was a longtime resident of South Boston. She worked as a Clerk at the Department of Employment Security in Boston for many years and retired in 1980.
She was the sister of late Jean Schnetzer, Henry "Dutch" Bergen, William "Biffa" Bergen, John "Tut" Bergen and James Bergen. She was the aunt of Kathi Schnetzer, Tim Schnetzer, Tom Daly, Teresa Bergen and Debbie Hardy. She is also survived by her great niece Casey.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday at 8: 15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Friday 7-9 PM. Donations in her memory may be made to American Cancer Society, 20 Speen St., Framingham, 01701. Burial will be at Nemasket Hill Cemetery, Middleboro.

CAROL F. (BURGESS) LOGAN TAGLIERI
Visiting Hours: Wednesday, May 28, 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
Funeral Mass: Thursday, May 29, 9 AM, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton Street, Stoughton.
Carol F. (Burgess) Logan Taglieri, 63, died unexpectedly Sunday, May 25 at the Morton Hospital in Taunton. She was the wife of the late Alfred J. Taglieri. Born in Dorchester, she was educated at St. Ambrose School and Dorchester High School Class of 1958. Mrs. Logan Taglieri has resided in Raynham for 2 years after living in Brockton for 30 years. She was a homemaker at home with her family.
Mrs. Logan Taglieri is survived by her children, Scott J. Logan and Carol Ann Smith both of Raynham and Stephen M. Logan of Plymouth, as well as her brothers, Gregory S. Burgess of Rockland and Paul D. Burgess of Florida and her beloved friend, John M. Amaral of Raynham. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Alfred, she was preceded in death by her son, Joseph J. Logan.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday at 8: 15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.

M. SHIRLEY (McCANN) ABRAMSON

Funeral Mass: Wednesday, May 28, 9 AM, St. John the Evangelist Church, 700 Washington Street, Canton.
M. Shirley (McCann) Abramson, 80, died Saturday, May 24 with her family at Hellenic Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Canton. Born in Chelsea, Mrs. Abramson has resided in Stoughton since she was 7 years old and was educated at St. Mary's School in Stoughton. She worked as a computer operator at Raytheon in Quincy for many years before retiring 15 years ago. Mrs. Abramson was a former member of the Rose Forte Tenants Association in Stoughton and was an avid Bingo player.
Mrs. Abramson is survived by her loving children, Marion B. Jennison of Canton, Janet E. Drago and Karen A. Abramson both of Stoughton and Kevin G. Abramson of Brockton. She is also survived by her loving son-in-law, Russ Jennison of Canton, her sister-in-law, Angie McCann of Brockton, her dear friend Arlene Smyth of Florida, 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph McCann.
Funeral Mass will be held in St. John the Evangelist Church, Washington St., Canton on Wednesday at 9 AM. Visiting Hours prior to Mass at the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton from 8-8: 30 AM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Stoughton. Donations in Shirley's memory may be made to American Kidney Fund, 6110 Executive Blvd., Suite 1010, Rockville, MD 20852-9813.

CONSTANZO J. FUSTOLO
Visiting Hours: Tuesday, May 27, 5-8 PM.
Funeral Mass: Wednesday, May 28, 10: 15 AM, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton Street, Stoughton.
Constanzo J. Fustolo, 79, died Friday, May 23 at Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine, FL after a period of failing health. He was the husband of Emily T. (Silva) Fustolo. Born in Uxbridge, Mr. Fustolo was a lifelong resident of Stoughton until moving to Satsuma, Florida in 1991. He was a truck driver for Intercity Transportation in Boston for many years before retiring in 1980. Mr. Fustolo was also a 4th degree Knight of Columbus.
Along with his wife, Emily, he is survived by his children, Joseph Fustolo and Joanna Lang both of Stoughton, as well as his sisters, Lena Capozzoli and Rose Tobin both of Stoughton. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Mr. Fustolo was preceded in death by his daughter, Victoria A. Smith and his brother, Joseph Nardullo.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday at 9: 30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10: 15 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton. Donations in Constanzo's memory may be made to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, 01701.

ROBERT K. BUNN
Visiting Hours: Tuesday, May 27, 5-8 PM.
Funeral Mass: Wednesday, May 28, 9 AM, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton Street, Stoughton.
Robert K. Bunn, 60, died at home in Groton on Saturday, May 24 after a period of failing health. He was the husband of Mary P. (Bickford) Bunn. Born in Brockton, Mr. Bunn grew up in Stoughton and was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1961. He has resided in Groton for 25 years. Mr. Bunn was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam Era. He worked in Customer Service at Shawmut Mills in Stoughton and West Bridgewater for 37 years. Mr. Bunn enjoyed genealogical research and was a member of the New England Genealogical Society in Boston. He also rehabbed and built his own home in Groton.
In addition to his wife Mary, Mr. Bunn is survived by his daughters, Diane P. Bunn of Florida, Suzanne M. Weatherwalks of Leominster and Anita E. Bunn of Quincy, as well as his grandchildren, Brittney A. Weatherwalks and Jordan A. Weatherwalks. He is also survived by his sisters, Noreen Romanowsky of Stoughton and Christine Roxburgh of West Bridgewater, his mother-in-law, Mary Bickford of Groton and his sister-in-law, Ruthanne Remillet of Florida. He is also survived by 4 nieces, 2 nephews, 4 great-nieces and 2 great-nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday at 8: 15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday 5-8 PM. Interment will take place at Groton Cemetery in Groton. Donations in Robert's memory may be made to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, 01701.

EDNA JOSEPH

Edna Joseph, 76, died at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Thursday, May 22. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mary (Morea) Joseph. Born in Provincetown, she was a resident at Paul A. Dever State School for many years. For the past 27 years she resided at Weekes' Rest Home in Stoughton. She was one of 12 children and is survived by several brothers and sisters.
Funeral Prayers will be offered from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday at 11 AM. Interment will be private.

BARBARA A. (O'NEIL) FINCH

Funeral Mass: Friday, May 23, 2003, 9 AM, St. James Church, 560 Page Street, Stoughton.
Barbara A. (O'Neil) Finch, 72, died Wednesday at the BayPointe Nursing Home in Brockton after a short illness. She was the wife of the late Thomas J. Finch, Sr. Born in Boston and raised in Savin Hill, she was a longtime resident of Stoughton and had lived in Halifax for the past 7 years. Mrs. Finch was the Director of Religious Education at St. James Church in Stoughton for over 30 years and had retired at age 65. She was very active at both St. James and at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Halifax. She was a Eucharistic Minister at both churches. In her free time, Mrs. Finch enjoyed reading, gardening and spending time with her friends and family.
She is survived by her children: Anne Margaret Peck and her husband Steven of W. Bridgewater, Timothy J. and his wife Antoinette of Brockton. She was the sister of John E. O'Neil of Saugus, Kevin O'Neil of Stoughton and Katherine Ahern of RI. She was the grandmother of James Peck, Meghan Peck, Christopher Peck and Ayana Finch. Mrs. Finch was predeceased by her husband, Thomas J. Finch, Sr., her son Thomas J. Finch Jr. and her brother Brian O'Neil.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. James Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Donations in her memory may be made to Catholic Charities, 686 N. Main St., Brockton, 02301. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.

EVA M. (BELCHER) LEYLAND

Funeral Service: Friday, May 23, 2003, 11 AM, Silver Lake Chapel, 33 Lake Street, Plympton.
Eva M. (Belcher) Leyland, 81, died Tuesday at the LifeCare Center in Plymouth. Born and raised in Brockton, she was a resident of Hanover for over 15 years. Previously, Mrs. Leyland was a resident of Marshfield and Stoughton. Mrs. Leyland worked as a bookkeeper for Brockton Hospital for several years. She also worked for Quinn Freight and retired from Metal Services in Brockton. She was a devoted member of the Silver Lake Chapel in Plympton. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 219 in Duxbury. She was the Secretary and Past Master of the Webster Grange # 205 in Duxbury. She was also the Secretary and Past Master of the North Pamona Grange # 40. She was also active in veteran's affairs and a member of the Plymouth County American Legion Auxiliary. She was the Secretary, Past Director and Past Chapeau of Departmental of the 8/40 Salon of Plymouth. She was also a Member of the American Legion Auxiliary 0088 in Marshfield.
She is survived by her sister Winifred E. Atwood of Marshfield. She was also the sister of the late Mildred E. Fisher. She was the aunt of Robert A. Fisher, Jr. of Brockton, Joyce Simmons and her husband Edgar of NH and Evelyn Norvish of Whitman. She was the cousin of Rev. Henry B. Belcher of Halifax and is also survived by her friend Jeanene Baker of Hanover, her cat Gypsy, 5 great nieces and nephews and 7 great-great nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held in the Silver Lake Chapel, 33 Lake St., Plympton, 02367 on Friday at 11 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday 4-8 PM at the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton. Donations in her memory may be made to Silver Lake Chapel at the above address. Burial will be at Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.

ANN W. (WALENT) CRAIG
Visiting Hours: Wednesday, May 21, 2003, 5-8 PM.
Funeral Mass: Thursday, May 22, 2003, 10: 15 AM, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton Street, Stoughton.
Ann W. (Walent) Craig, 80, died Monday, May 19, at the Copley at Stoughton Nursing Home in Stoughton. Born in Stoughton, she was a lifelong resident of Stoughton and a graduate of Stoughton Schools. Mrs. Craig worked for the Stoughton School System as a Secretary, Teacher's Aide and Clerical Aide. She retired at age 60. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing and knitting. Above all, she also enjoyed spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband Bradford, she is survived by her children; Judith A. Getchell and her husband Everett of Stoughton, Mary E. Craig of RI, Bradford W. Jr. and his wife Nancy of Raynham, Joseph M. and his wife Linda of W. Bridgewater, Paul B. and Michael A. both of Stoughton, Jane E. DeMello and her husband Henry of Rochester and Charles A. of Stoughton. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday 9: 15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10: 15 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday 5-8 PM. Donations in her memory may be made to American Heart Assn, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. Burial will be private.
