William H. O'Brien Sr.

December 22, 1922 - December 29, 2004

O'Brien - William H. of Saugus, formerly of East Boston, passed away on Wednesday December 29th, 2004.

Beloved husband of the late Josephine (Sarro) O'Brien.

Devoted father of Diane Flynn and her husband Leo of York, Maine, and William O'Brien Jr. and his wife Nancy of Saugus.

Also lovingly survived by many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday December 31st at the Ruggiero-Mazzarella Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street (Orient Heights) East Boston commencing with visiting hours from 9:00am. A Service in our chapel will immediately follow visitation at 11:00am officiated by Father John Kilmartin, Pastor of St. Joseph - St. Lazarus Church. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.

William was born in Boston in 1922. He was a resident of East Boston for more than 50 years before moving to Saugus a short time ago. William served his country in the United States Army during WWII in the 35th Infantry Regiment and was honorably discharged at the rank of Corporal. He worked for many years as a technician for the Boston City Hospital, and was a past member of American Legion Post 56. William passed away at the Annemark Nursing Home after a brief illness. He was 82 years of age.

The Memorial Home is handicapped accessible and a children’s lounge is available. Courtesy valet parking at the front entrance and ample off street parking is also available. For transportation to the memorial home please call 617-569-0990.

Services will conclude with William being laid to rest in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.

Marie Mucci O'Shea

September 7, 1932 - February 28, 2002

Mucci O'Shea - Marie of Orient Heights, East Boston suddenly on Thursday February 28, 2002.

Loving daughter of Laura Mucci (Gaglini) of East Boston and the late Camillo Mucci.

Devoted mother of Jeanne McLaughlin and her husband Robert of Acton, Laura O'Shea of Arlington Virginia, and Jim O'Shea and his wife Janet of Pepperell.

Dear sister of Father Flavian Mucci of El Salvador, George Mucci of Revere, Camille Selvitella of Woburn, and Joseph Mucci of Billerica.

Cherished grandmother of Bobby, Erin, Katherine, and James.

Wife of Eugene O'Shea. Also survived by many fond nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Ruggiero-Mazzarella Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street (Orient Heights) East Boston on Monday March 4 at 9:00am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 128 Gove Street, East Boston at 10:00am officiated by Marie's brother Father Flavian Mucci. Visiting hours are on Sunday from 2:00pm to 7:00pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.

Marie was born in Boston in 1932. She was a highly respected community and civic leader. Her many associations and achievements included; member of the Professional & Business Womens Lodge O.S.I.A.; Bay Sate Freedom Foundation; Rotary Club member; Executive Director of the East Boston Chamber of Commerce; Board Member of the East Boston Neighborhood Health Center; Daughters of Rebecca - Winthrop Chapter; Civic Committee member for Columbus Day Parade and The Columbus Quin-Centenial Celebration, and coordinated the Annual Memorial Day Service East Boston Veterans Council. Marie was a recipient of the Paul Harris Fellowship Award and was 1986 Columbus Day Woman of the Year. She was also previously involved in many church and community groups including; choir director for the Assumption Church; organist for St. Mary Star of the Sea Church; member of St.Joseph-St.Lazarus Church parents group; the East Boston Theatre Group and the Noddle Island Theatre Group. Marie was also dedicated to her brother's Agape mission in El Salvador. She died suddenly at the Boston Medical Center aged 69 years.

Julia L. Palladino

April 10, 1929 - January 20, 2004

Palladino - Julia L. (Guarino) of Orient Heights, East Boston, passed away on Tuesday January 20th, 2004.

Beloved wife of 47 years of Edward Palladino.

Devoted mother of Edward Palladino Jr. and his wife Denise of Saugus, Louise Donner and her husband Jonathan of Lynnfield, and Susan Daly and her husband Paul of Saugus.

Loving daughter of the late John Guarino Sr., and dear sister of John Guarino Jr. of Saugus.

Cherished grandmother of Alexa, Rachel, Stephen, Macayla, Jamie and Julia. Also lovingly survived by many fond nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Ruggiero-Mazzarella Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street (Orient Heights) East Boston on Monday January 26th, 2004 at 9:00am. Funeral Mass in St. Joseph - St. Lazarus Church, 59 Ashley Street, East Boston at 10:00am. Visiting hours are on Sunday January 25th from 3:00pm to 8:00pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.

Julia was born in Boston in 1929 and was a life-long resident of Orient Heights in East Boston. She was a past member of the Revere Ladies Lodge of the Sons of Italy. Julia passed away after a long illness surrounded by her loving family at the New England Baptist Hospital. She was 74 years of age.

Memorial donations in Julia's memory may be made to the Hematology-Oncology Fund, New England Baptist Hospital, 125 Parker Hill Avenue, Boston MA 02120.

Margaret F. Pardi

December 3, 1929 - January 3, 2002

Pardi - Margaret F. of East Boston on Thursday January 3, 2002.

Loving daughter of the late Luigi and Concetta (Melidao) Pardi.

Dear sister of Dora Goldsworthy of Wisconsin, John Pardi of Newton MA, Rose Pardi of East Boston, Rudy Pardi of Revere, and the late Anthony and William Pardi.

Also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral from the Ruggiero-Mazzarella Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street (Orient Heights) East Boston on Monday January 7 at 9:00am. Funeral Mass in St.Joseph-St.Lazarus Church, 59 Ashley Street, East Boston at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours are on Sunday January 6 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm.

Margaret was born in Boston in 1929. She worked for many years as an embroiderer for Atlas Embroidery in Boston, and was a member of the Beachmont Seniors Club. Margaret died at the Whidden Memorial Hospital in Everett after a long illness. She was 72 years old.

The Memorial Home is handicapped accessible and a children's lounge is available. Courtesy valet parking at the front entrance and ample off street parking is also available. For transportation to the memorial home please call 617-569-0990.

Services will conclude in the chapel at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
