Joan A. (Barrus) McCloud, 66, died unexpectedly Saturday, June 14 at Caritas St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Brighton. She was the wife of the late Edward F. McCloud. Born and educated in Dorchester, Mrs. McCloud has resided in Middleboro for the past year after living in Holbrook for 4 years and Canton for over 20 years. She was a housewife at home with her family. In her free time she enjoyed playing KENO and spending time with her family.
Mrs. McCloud is survived by her children, Edward S. McCloud and his wife Nancy and Stephen E. McCloud and his wife Linda all of Canton, Mark McCloud and his wife Marcia of W. Bridgewater, Joseph McCloud of Berkley, Michael McCloud of S. Boston, Marilyn Hart and her husband Edward of Middleboro and Matthew McCloud of W. Bridgewater. She is also survived by her brother, Earl Barrus of Quincy, her sister, Marilyn Johnson of S. Boston, 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday at 9: 15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. James Church, Stoughton at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday 4-8 PM. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.

PEDRO JUAN GONZALEZ
Visiting Hours: Friday, June 20, 2003, 5-7 PM.
Funeral Mass: Saturday, June 21, 2003, 9 AM, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton Street, Stoughton.
Pedro Juan Gonzalez, 39, died unexpectedly at home in Stoughton on Friday, June 13. Born in Puerto Rico and raised in Michigan, Mr. Gonzalez has resided in Stoughton for 16 years. He was a carpenter for several years and worked the past 2 years for Easton Kitchen and Bath. Mr. Gonzalez was an avid surfer and skateboarder and he leaves behind many friends and family.
He is survived by his sons, Charles Crampton, USN of Virginia and Nicholas J. Moore of Stoughton, his parents, Joanne Gonzalez of Michigan and Dr. Rafael Gonzalez of Puerto Rico, his brothers, Raphael of North Carolina and Jose of Nevada, his sisters, Ginny McGannon of Illinois and Julie Austin of Colorado and his granddaughter, Alyssa Marie of Virginia. He is also survived by his cousins, David, Gerri and Katherine Rodriguez, Elizabeth Visser and Bridget Fraiser and his beloved friends, Susan, John and Foxx Moore, Herbert and the late Karl Gustafson all of Stoughton.
Funeral will be held from the Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., Stoughton on Saturday at 9 AM. Visiting Hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday 5-7 PM. Interment will be private. Donations in Pedro's memory may be made to Catholic Charities, 686 N. Main St., Brockton, 02301.

MARIA E. (GAVA) PORTELLO
Visiting Hours: Sunday, June 15, 2003, 6-8 PM.
Funeral Mass: Monday, June 16, 2003, 10: 15 AM, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton Street, Stoughton.
Maria E. (Gava) Portello, 90, died at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Thursday, June 12. She was the wife of the late Giuseppe Portello. Born and educated in Italy, Mrs. Portello moved to Stoughton in 1969. She worked as a presser at David Clothing in Brockton for several years before retiring 20 years ago. She was a member of the Daughters of Italy in Stoughton. In her free time she enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Portello is survived by her children, Luigi Portello and his wife Diana of Hamilton, NJ and Maria Rosa Oggiano of Stoughton as well as her grandchildren, Robert L. Portello, Richard H. Portello, Lori Ann Tyger, Francesco Oggiano and Nicolo Oggiano. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday at 9: 30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10: 15 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday 6-8 PM. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Stoughton. Donations in Maria's memory may be made to American Heart Assn., 20 Speen St., Framingham, 01701.

JEANNE A. (SAVAGE) DARCY
Visiting Hours: Sunday, June 15, 2003, 5-8 PM.
Funeral Mass: Monday, June 16, 2003, 9 AM, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton Street, Stoughton.
Jeanne A. (Savage) Darcy, 79, died Thursday, June 12 at the New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Clifford J. Darcy. Born and educated in Bronx, NY, Mrs. Darcy has resided in Stoughton for the past 10 years after living in Holbrook for over 30 years. She was a supervisor for the Dept. of Public Welfare in Brockton for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for 17 years before retiring many years ago. Mrs. Darcy was a member of the Massachusetts State Workers Union and donated time to the Home for Little Wanderers. In her free time she enjoyed reading, cooking and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Darcy is survived by her children, Maureen A. D'Amore of Brockton, Kevin T. Darcy of Stoughton and Brian E. Darcy of Marshfield. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael C. Darcy and her sister, Conradine McSweeney.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday at 8: 15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday 5-8 PM. Interment will be private. Donations in Jeanne's memory may be made to New England Sinai Hospital, 150 York St., Stoughton, 02072.

JANNIE LEE (BENNETT) TERRY
Visiting Hours: Sunday, June 15, 5-7 PM.
Funeral Service: Monday, June 16, 10 AM, Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, 24 Pleasant Street, Brockton.
Jannie Lee (Bennett) Terry, 65, died Wednesday, June 11 at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a lengthy illness. Born in Kinston, NC, she was educated in New Jersey schools and graduated from Delaware State College, Class of 1964. She has resided in Stoughton for over 30 years. Ms. Terry was a school teacher in Boston Public Schools for 23 years before retiring in 1992. In her free time she enjoyed gardening and cooking.
Ms. Terry is survived by her daughter, Charlene J. Terry of Stoughton, and her sisters, Mary L. Hook of New Jersey and Rachel D. Bennett of Stoughton. She is also survived by her former husband, Joseph Terry of Stoughton and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held from the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, 24 Pleasant St., Brockton on Monday at 10 AM. Visiting Hours will be held at Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Sunday from 5-7 PM. Donations in Jannie's memory may be made to Joslin Diabetes Center, 1 Joslin Place, Boston, 02215. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.

HELEN M. (CHAPAS) GENOTER
Visiting Hours: Thursday, August 7, 2003, 5-9 PM.
Funeral Mass: Friday, August 8, 2003, 10 AM, St. James Church, 560 Page Street, Stoughton.
Helen M. (Chapas) Genoter, 91, died Tuesday, August 5, at her home after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Joseph G. Genoter. Born in Boston, she was a graduate of S. Boston Schools. Mrs. Genoter was a resident of Stoughton since 1961. Mrs. Genoter was a devoted housewife and mother. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and crocheting.
She leaves her children: Richard P. of Westford, Alice M. of Stoughton. She was also the Mother of the late Joseph G. Genoter Jr. She was the sister of Frances Rozanas of Braintree and the late Cassie Chapas and Anna Stankus. Mrs. Genoter was the grandmother of Michelle McKelvie, Christopher, Gregory and Daniel Genoter and is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. James Church, Stoughton at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday 5-9 PM. Donations in Helen's memory may be made to St. James Church, 560 Page St, Stoughton or to Old Colony Hospice, 14 Page Terr., Stoughton, 02072. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater.

EUGENE S. "GENO" FRAGA
Visiting Hours: Thursday, August 7, 2003, 4-8 PM.
Funeral Mass: Friday, August 8, 2003, 9 AM, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton Street, Stoughton.
Eugene S. "Geno" Fraga, 29, died Tuesday Morning, August 5, 2003 at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston due to complications of Cystic Fibrosis. He was the son of Eugenio and Maria Odette (Rocha) Fraga of Stoughton. Born in Stoughton, he was a lifelong resident of Stoughton and a graduate of Stoughton Schools.
Known as a jokester, he brought laughter to all he knew. His avid interests included motorcycling, four-wheeling and playing with his beloved dog Orion. In recent years he participated in several motorcycle runs to benefit Cystic Fibrosis and in 2000, he fulfilled his dream of driving across the country. He worked as a carpenter at Ver-Tex Construction Specialty for over 4 years.
In addition to his parents, Eugenio and Maria Odette Fraga, he is survived by his sisters, Lizette and Susan Fraga and Sandy Afonso and her husband Victor all of Stoughton. He was the uncle of Isabella Fraga. He was also the godfather of Mark and Cody Fraga. He is also survived by his girlfriend Michelle Younis of Stoughton and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Donations in Geno's memory may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 220 N. Main St., Natick, 01760 with a notation "Gene Fraga." Interment will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.

ROSANNE M. (GRASSO) KENNEDY
Visiting Hours: Sunday, August 10, 2003, 4-8 PM.
Funeral Mass: Monday, August 11, 2003, 9 AM, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton Street, Stoughton.
Rosanne M. (Grasso) Kennedy, 47, died on Sunday, August 3 at Hernando Pasco Hospice in Brooksville, FL after a period of failing health. She was the wife of Francis J. Kennedy, Jr. Born in Boston, Mrs. Kennedy graduated from St. Mary's School in Stoughton and Stoughton High School, attended Northeastern University and graduated from Burdett College in Boston. She has resided in Florida for under a year after growing up in Stoughton and then living in Carver for 10 years. She worked in accounting for various businesses in the area for 20 years, the last 4 years at State Street Bank in Quincy, before moving to Florida.
In addition to her husband Frank, Mrs. Kennedy is survived by her children, Kristine L. Kennedy of Falmouth and Shaun R. Kennedy of New Hampshire, as well as her father, Anthony Grasso of E. Falmouth, and her grandchildren, Parker, Tyrel and Kalob Kennedy. She is also survived by her brothers, Anthony R. Grasso of Connecticut and John P. Grasso of E. Bridgewater as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her mother, Marion E. (Kiley) Grasso.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday at 8: 15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday 4-8 PM. Interment will take place at the VA National Cemetery in Bourne. Donations in Rosanne's memory may be made to Hernando Pasco Hospice, 1114 Chatman Blvd., Brooksville, FL 34601.

LAURA C. (CURRIER) BOWLES

Graveside Service: Thursday, August 14, 1 PM, Riverside Cemetery in Plymouth, NH.
Laura C. (Currier) Bowles, 99, died at Blue Hills Alzheimer's Care Center in Stoughton, MA on Thursday, July 31 after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Charles H. Bowles. Born in Colebrook, NH, Mrs. Bowles was educated in Plymouth, NH schools and graduated from Simmons College in Boston, Class of 1924. She lived in Plymouth, NH for 75 years before moving to Chicago, IL and then to Stoughton, MA last year. She was a housewife at home with her family.
Mrs. Bowles is survived by 1 grandson, 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Charles, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Ann Harris and her sisters, Phebe Hodder, Cornelia Hinkle and Esther Howard.
Graveside Service will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Plymouth, NH on Thursday, August 14 at 1 PM. Donations in Laura's memory may be made to Blue Hills Alzheimer's Care Center, 1044 Park St., Stoughton, MA 02072.
