CARL E. "KELLY" DAHLROOS

Carl E. "Kelly" Dahlroos, 84, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died Monday, September 6 at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth R. (Voutselas) Dahlroos. Born in Dorchester, he attended Dorchester High for Boys. Mr. Dahlroos worked as a bricklayer. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. He was a Gold Member of Bricklayers and Stonemasons Local 3 in Boston for over 50 years. He was also a member of the VFW in Stoughton and the Stenkil Lodge #92 in Braintree. Mr. Dahlroos enjoyed his work and spending time on Cape Cod.
He is survived by his children: John F. Angelopoulos of Stoughton, Loretta S. Dansereau of CA, Elizabeth C. Dahlroos of Stoughton and Jean Smolinski of TX. He was the brother of David A. Dahlroos Jr. and his wife Belle of Quincy. He was the brother-in-law of George Voutselas of Stoughton, Frederick Voutselas and his wife Kay of Milton and the late Angelo Angelopoulos. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and his companion Sally Garrity of Easton.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday at 8: 15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Donations in Kelly's name may be made to the Bricklayers College Scholarship Fund, Local 3, 550 Medford St., Charlestown, 02129. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.

RAUL B. DAGUMBOY
Visiting Hours: Friday, September 10, 5-7 PM
Funeral Mass: Saturday, September 11, 10 AM, St. John the Evangelist Church, 700 Washington St., Canton.
Raul B. Dagumboy, 59, died unexpectedly Monday, September 6 at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the husband of Fredeswinda C. (Coliflores) Dagumboy. Born in Caloocan, Philippines, he was a graduate of Philippines Schools and the University of the East-College of Law in the Philippines. He moved to the US in 1984 and lived in Stoughton for many years. He worked as a case specialist for the Taunton Probate Court in Taunton for 11 years. He was an active member of the Philippine Dance Company of Boston. A musician, he enjoyed playing the guitar, piano and singing. He also enjoyed working in the yard and gardening.
He was the beloved husband of Fredeswinda C. (Coliflores) Dagumboy. He was the Loving Father of Theresa B. of Stoughton. He leaves his mother, Conrada (Bustamente) Dagumboy of Andover and the late Rafael. He was the brother of Aida Carlos of Andover.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Saturday at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist Church, Canton at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Friday 5-7 PM followed by a prayer service at 7 PM. Member of the Philippine Dance Co. of Boston. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.

EMILY A. (ALLEN) BRADBURY
Visiting Hours: Thursday, December 2, 4-7 PM.
Funeral Prayers: Friday, December 3, 10 AM. Ponkapoag Chapel, Rte 138, Canton.
Emily A. (Allen) Bradbury, 67, died Tuesday at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a short period of failing health. Born in Boston, she was raised in Needham and a graduate of Needham Schools and Bucknell University. Mrs. Bradbury was a resident of Stoughton since 1960. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, animals and visiting with her family. She was active at the Stoughton Senior Center.
She leaves her children: Eric A. and Susan L. Bradbury both of ME. She was the sister of Stephen M. Allen of Sudbury, George B. Allen of CT and the late Beatrice D. Allen.
Funeral services will be held in the Ponkapoag Chapel, Rte 138, Canton on Friday at 10 AM. Visiting hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday from 4-7 PM. Donations in Emily's name may be made to the Northeast Animal Shelter, 204 Highland Avenue, PO Box 4506, Salem, MA 01970-9849. Burial will be private.

RICHARD A. MARTIN, SR.
Visiting Hours: Wednesday, December 1, 5-8 PM.
Funeral Prayers: Thursday, December 2, 10: 30 AM. Farley Funeral Home.
Richard A. Martin, Sr., 71, died at his home on Saturday, November 27. He was the husband of the late Charlotte S. (Bryson) Martin. Born in Boston, he raised in Jamaica Plain and was a graduate of Jamaica Plain Schools. He worked as a Tractor Trailer Driver for Avon Corrugated for over 25 years. He retired many years ago. In his free time, he enjoyed working on cars and playing cards. He will be missed by his family.
Mr. Martin is survived by his children, Richard A. Jr. and his wife Carol of Taunton, Wayne G. of FL, Cheryl A. Brothers and her late husband Dennis of Brockton, Stephen F. and his wife Maureen of FL, Gary N., Roger A. and his wife Kathryn and Michael J. and his wife Mary Jane all of Marshfield, Donald E. and his wife Kathy of Hanover and the late Shirley A. He was the brother of Marilyn Yeskevicz of Carver. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held in the Farley Funeral Home 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday at 10: 30 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday 5-8 PM. Interment will be private. Donations in Dick's name may be made to the Joslin Diabetes Clinic, 1 Joslin Pl., Boston, 02215.

PAUL J. OHRENBERGER
Visiting Hours: Tuesday, November 30, 2-4 & 6-8 PM.
Funeral Prayers: Wednesday, December 1, 10 AM. Knollwood Memorial Park, High Street, Canton.
Paul J. Ohrenberger, 74, died unexpectedly Sunday, November 28 at the Morton Hospital in Taunton on Saturday. He was the husband of the late Carol E. (Derbes) Ohrenberger. Born in Quincy, he was a graduate of Quincy Schools. Mr. Ohrenberger was a Korean War Veteran of the US Navy. Mr. Ohrenberger owned a variety of businesses in the area over the years. He was retired. He was a member of the VFW in Abington and the Adams Heights Mens Club in Quincy. In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking, painting and gardening.
He is survived by his children: Paul J. Jr., of Brockton, Gail E. Vasapollo of Middleboro, Richard M. of Attleboro, Linda A. Anderson of Bridgewater, Robert A. of Brockton, Michael H. of Middleboro, David E. of Brockton, and Judi M. Donahue of Raynham. Brother of Dorothy Gallagher of Quincy and Arthur "Buddy" of Carver. Also survived by 18 grandchildren of 1 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held in the Chapel at Knollwood Memorial Park, High St., Canton on Wednesday at a time to be announced. Visiting Hours Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 at the Farley Funeral Home 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton. Donations in Paul's name may be made to the Joslin Diabetes Clinic, 1 Joslin Pl, Boston, 02215. Burial will be at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.

STEWART C. SHAW
Visiting Hours: Tuesday, November 30, 3-7 PM.
Funeral Prayers: Wednesday, December 1, 10 AM. Farley Funeral Home.
Stewart C. Shaw, 78, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died Sunday, November 28 at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the husband of the late Ann E. (Hundley) Shaw. Born in South Boston, he attended South Boston Schools. He was a veteran of the US Army. Mr. Shaw worked for Western Union in Boston for 37 years as a Wire Chief. He retired in the mid 1980's. He was a member of the VFW, Elks and AMVETS all in Randolph.
He is survived by his sister, Shirley S. Padden of Stoughton. He was the uncle of Janet Cote and her husband Andrew L. of NH. He was the great uncle of Andrew L. Cote Jr. He is also survived by a close family friend Patricia Wasilewski.
Funeral services will be held in the Farley Funeral Home 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday 3-7 PM. Donations in Stewart's name may be made to the Joslin Diabetes Clinic, 1 Joslin Pl., Boston, 02215 or to the Lupus Foundation, 2000 L Street, N.W., Suite 710, Washington , DC 20036. Burial will be at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.

MARY V. BAXTER
Visiting Hour: Friday, November 26, 9-9: 45 AM
Funeral Mass: Friday, November 26, 10: 15 AM, Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., Stoughton.
Mary V. Baxter, 74, died at Caritas Norwood Hospital in Norwood on Sunday, November 21. She was the daughter of the late James R. and Catherine (Lowe) Baxter. Born and educated in Dorchester, Ms. Baxter was a resident of Canton for 6 years. She was the Office Supervisor at M.I.B. in Westwood for many years before retiring over 10 years ago.
Ms. Baxter is survived by her nephews, Robert W. Baxter and Stephen E. Baxter and her nieces, Lorraine M. Baxter, Suzanne Baxter and Kathleen P. Sawyer and her husband David. She was also the great-aunt of David, Jr., Kevin, Lindsey and Alec and beloved friend of Helen Sullivan and Jeanette Delaney. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert W. Baxter and his wife Catherine.
Visitation will be held from the Farley Funeral Home 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10: 15 AM. Donations in Mary's name may be made to the charity of your choice. Interment will take place at Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree.

JOAN L. (CONNORS) HOMER
Visiting Hours: Tuesday, November 23, 4-8 AM
Funeral Prayers: Wednesday, November 24, 11 AM, Farley Funeral Home.
Joan L. (Connors) Homer, 71, died Sunday at the LifeCare Center of Raynham. She was the wife of Charles "David" Homer. Born in Boston, she was educated in Roxbury and a graduate of St. Patrick's High School in Roxbury. She was the treasurer of her class at St. Patrick's. Mrs. Homer was a resident of Raynham for about 5 years. Prior to that, she lived in Stoughton and Naples, FL. Mrs. Homer was a homemaker and dedicated mother to her five sons. She also worked at the New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton as a switchboard operator for about 5 years.
In addition to her husband Charles "David" Homer, she is survived by her children, Thomas Lennon of Brockton, James Lennon of RI, Michael Lennon of Braintree, Brian D. Lennon of NH. She was the mother of the late Richard Lennon. She was the stepmother of Charles Homer, Jr. of Bridgewater, Jane Carrigan of Mansfield and John Homer of Taunton. She was the sister of the late Donald Connors, Thomas Connors and Robert Connors and is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral prayers will be held offered in the Farley Funeral Home 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday at 11 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday 4-8 PM. Donations in Joan's name may be made to the LifeCare Center Activities Fund, 546 South St. East, Raynham, 02767, or to Richard C. Lennon Scholarship Fund, c/o Brian Lennon, 55 Dartmouth St., Laconia, NH 02346.

HELEN M. (HICKEY) SULLIVAN
Visiting Hours: Monday, November 22, 10-11 AM
Funeral Prayers: Monday, November 22, 11 AM, Farley Funeral Home.
Helen M. (Hickey) Sullivan, 82, died at the Blue Hills Alzheimer's Care Center in Stoughton on Wednesday, November 17. She was the wife of the late Charles F. Sullivan, Sr. Born in Boston, Mrs. Sullivan was educated in Milton schools. She resided in Stoughton since 1961 after living in Randolph for several years. She was a shoe worker at Randolph Manufacturing for many years before retiring in 1972.
Mrs. Sullivan is survived by her son, Charles F. Sullivan, Jr. of Stoughton, as well as her brother, John Hickey of Milton and her sister, Barbara Lyons of Braintree. In addition to her husband Charles, she was preceded in death by her son, David Sullivan and her brother, Henry Hickey.
Funeral Prayers will be offered from the Farley Funeral Home 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday at 11 AM. Visiting Hours prior to service from 10 AM. Donations in Helen's name may be made to the Blue Hills Alzheimer's Care Center, 1044 Park St., Stoughton, 02072. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.

ANNA (ROZEN) SIMONDS
Visiting Hours: Sunday, November 21, 2-4 PM
Funeral Prayers: Monday, November 22, 10 AM, Farley Funeral Home.
Anna (Rozen) Simonds, 94, died in Virginia on Tuesday evening, November 16. A native of Brockton, she resided in Miami and Neptune Beach, FL for 43 years before moving to Arlington, VA in 1997. She was educated in Brockton schools.
Mrs. Simonds was preceded in death by her loving husband, Fred J. Simonds on February 2, 1970. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Marcella Rozen. She is survived by her sisters, Genevieve Miller of GA and Elizabeth Eubanks of FL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Prayers will be offered from the Farley Funeral Home 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Sunday 2-4 PM. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Stoughton.
