Sirignano - Elisa (Rossetti) of Swampscott, formerly of East Boston, passed away suddenly on Wednesday September 29th, 2004 in her 87th year.
Beloved wife of the late Raffele Sirignano.
Devoted mother of Antonetta Petrillo of Revere, Lia Colarusso of Swampscott, Paul Sirignano of Wilmington, Lucia Maddalone of Revere, Rosalba Alywin of Lynn, and the late Silvana Sirignano.
Dear sister of the late Antonio Rossetti and Palmina Colarusso.
Cherished grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Also lovingly survived by many fond nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Ruggiero-Mazzarella Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street (Orient Heights) East Boston on Saturday October 2nd, 2004 at 9:00am. Funeral Mass in St.Joseph-St.Lazarus Church, 59 Ashley Street, East Boston at 10:00am. Visiting hours are on Friday October 1st from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
Elisa was born in Boston in 1918. She lived most of her life in East Boston before moving to Swampscott. Elisa was a homemaker and mother, and was a past member of the Mt.Carmel Sodality. She took suddenly ill at home in Swampscott and died at the Boston Medical Center. Elisa was 86 years of age.

Services will conclude with Elisa being laid to rest in the Sirignano Family Mausoleum at the Woodlawn Cemetery

September 30, 1964 - February 19, 2002
Smiddy - Thomas Leo of Framingham, formerly of East Boston, suddenly on Tuesday February 19, 2002.
Beloved husband of Donna Neal Daley.
Loving son of Marie C. Pava (Coolidge) of East Boston, and William Smiddy of Florida.
Dear brother of Rita Botelho of Willmington, Sonya Smiddy of Somerville, and Jennifer Pava of Winthrop.
Cherished grandson of Sarah Coolidge of Dorchester. Also loving survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to Thomas's Memorial Service on Saturday February 23 at 10:00am in the Most Holy Redeemer Church, 72 Maverick Street, East Boston.

Thomas was born in Boston in 1964. He was a past member of People of Color, Roxbury, and the Marcus Garvey Oganization. Thomas passed away suddenly after a brief illness aged 37 years.

Strangie - Gennaro Jim "Q-Ball" of Orient Heights in East Boston, passed away on Tuesday August 10th, 2004 in his 79th year.
Beloved husband of the late Mary (Thistle) Strangie.
Devoted father of Geraldine Tango and her husband Dominic of Reading, Donna Strangie of Reading, Frank Strangie and his wife Julie of East Boston, Ritchie Strangie and his wife Leighann of Winthrop, and Stacey Strangie-Bertocchi and her husband Paul of Reading.
Dear brother of Mary Carmosino, Philip "Clammy" Strangie and John "JJ" Strangie, all of Saugus, Gloria Vesco of Brighton, and the late Pasquale, Dominic, Robert and Anthony Strangie.
Loving grandfather of Mark Tango, Dominic Tango Jr., Gustin Saggese, Anthony Saggese, Frank Strangie Jr., Joshua Strangie, Ritchie Strangie Jr., Christopher Strangie, Stephanie Strangie, Paulmichael Bertocchi, Mary Bertocchi, and great-grandfather of 6 adored great-grandchildren. Also lovingly survived by many fond nieces and nephews.

Gennaro, or "Q-Ball" as he was known to his friends, was born in 1926. He was a life-long resident of Orient Heights in East Boston, and worked for many years as a construction worker. He was a past member of the Orient Heights Civic Club and the Laborers Union #25. Gennaro passed away at the Winthrop Place Nursing home after a brief illness. He was 78 years of age.

Beloved wife of the late Vincenzo DiMinico and Salvatore Strazzulla.
Devoted mother of Teresa Calla of East Boston and her late husband George, Elizabeth Oliver and her husband John of Revere, and the late Joseph DiMinico and his wife Jennie, and Antonetta "Tedda" and her husband Phil Gambale.
Cherished grandmother of 9 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and one great great grandson. Fond aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Mary was born in Italy in 1907 and came to East Boston at a young age where she remained as a life long resident. She worked for many years in the cafeteria at the St. Dominic Savio High School. Mary was a past member of the Orient Heights Community Center, the Seniors Group at the East Boston Neighborhood Health Center, Winthrop Senior Center, East Boston Social Center, and V.F.W. Beachmont. She passed away after a brief illness at the Winthrop Place Seniors Center aged 96 years.
