Wood - Mary Katherine (Andreottola) of Orient Heights East Boston, formerly of the West End, on Wednesday June 19th, 2002.

Devoted mother of Robert Wood of Marblehead, Katherine Galbraith of Salem MA, Richard Wood of Billerica, and John Wood of Topsfield.

Former wife of the late Robert Wood.

Dear sister of Tony Andreottola of East Boston, Angie Bramante of Salem NH, Pat Andreottola of Medford, and the late Letisia "Letty" Brogna, Sam Andreottola, Peter Andreottola, and Michaelina "Mickey" Killaley.

Cherished grandmother of Kristen, Robert Jr., Kory and Sasha. Also lovingly survived by many fond nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Ruggiero-Mazzarella Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street (Orient Heights) East Boston on Saturday June 22nd at 9:00am. Funeral Mass in St.Joseph-St.Lazarus Church, 59 Ashley Street, East Boston at 10:00am. Visiting hours are on Friday June 21st from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.

Flowers are appreciated, or memorial donations may be made in Mary's memory to the Crossroads Family Shelter, 56 Havre Street, East Boston, 02128.

Mary was born in Boston in 1921. She was a homemaker. Mary passed away at the New England Medical Center in Boston after a brief illness. She was 81 years old.

The Memorial Home is handicapped accessible and a children's lounge is available. Courtesy valet parking at the front entrance and ample off street parking is also available. For transportation to the memorial home please call 617-569-0990.

Services will conclude with Mary being laid to rest at the Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody.

Wayne Michael Woodruff

November 30, 1961 - October 16, 2002

Woodruff - Wayne Michael of Revere, formerly of Charlestown, on Wednesday October 16th, 2002.

Beloved son of Arlene J. (Daniels) and Victor H. Duro of Revere.

Devoted father of Dawn Marie Pimentel of Charlestown.

Dear brother of Robert of Arkansas, Robin Dinkle of Louisiana , and Marlene Duro of Tennessee.

Also lovingly survived by 4 grandchildren as well as many dear nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at Woodlawn Cemetery, Elm Street, Everett on Monday October 21 at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.

In accordance with Wayne's wishes, visiting hours are respectfully omitted.

Wayne was born in Boston in 1961. He previously worked as a cook in the former Front Page Restaurant in Charlestown. He passed away after a long illness aged 41.

John Zirpolo

September 23, 1952 - September 5, 2002

Beloved husband of Ruth Ann (Pecora) Zirpolo.

Devoted father of John Jr. and Jay of East Boston.

Dear brother of the late Joseph Zirpolo. Brother-in-law of Yvonne Zirpolo of Methuen.

Cherished grandfather of Samantha Kennedy.

Also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews and godchildren.

Funeral from the Ruggiero-Mazzarella Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street (Orient Heights) East Boston on Wednesday September 11th at 9:00am. Funeral Mass in St.Mary Star of the Sea Church, 63 Moore Street, East Boston at 10:00am. Visiting hours are are Tuesday from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.

John was born in Boston in 1952 and was a life-long resident of East Boston. He was a member of Local #22. John died at the Massachusetts General Hospital age 49 years.

Florence Mary Zitano

June 30, 1935 - September 30, 2003

Zitano - Florence Mary of East Boston, on Tuesday September 30th, 2003.

Beloved wife of 35 years to Francis X. Zitano.

Cherished daughter of Anna (Manzo) Doria of East Boston, and the late Vito Doria.

Devoted mother of Kristen N. Zitano of East Boston and her fiancé James Castro of Methuen.

Also survived by many fond nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Ruggiero-Mazzarella Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street (Orient Heights) East Boston on Friday October 3rd at 9:00am. Funeral Mass in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 63 Moore Street, East Boston at 10:00am.

Visiting hours are on Thursday October 2nd from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.

Florence was born in Boston in 1935 and was a life-long resident of East Boston. She attended East Boston schools and was a homemaker. Florence passed away after a brief illness at the Massachusetts General Hospital. She was aged 68 years.

Services will conclude with Florence being laid to rest in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.

Anthony "Harry" Zozzi

December 22, 1929 - March 19, 2004

Zozzi - Anthony "Harry" of Orient Heights in East Boston, passed away on Friday March 19th, 2004.

Beloved husband of Rita (Nasta) Zozzi for 49 years.

Devoted father of Donna DiMarzo and her husband Dominic of East Boston, and Diane Ciampi and her husband Carmen, also of East Boston.

Dear brother of Jennie Manfra of East Boston, Lucy DiMattia of Revere, and the late Mary Zozzi, Nikki Poupolo and Ann Pedone.

Cherished grandfather of Dena, Dominic and Dyan DiMarzo, and Carmen and Tiana Ciampi. Loving great-grandfather of Deanna DiMarzo. Also lovingly survived by many fond nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service in the chapel of the Ruggiero-Mazzarella Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street (Orient Heights) East Boston on Monday March 22nd, 2004 at 10:00am officiated by Father Jonathan Parks. Visiting hours are on Sunday March 21st from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.

Anthony, or 'Harry' as most people knew him, was born in Boston in 1929 and was a life-long resident of East Boston. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict, attaining the rank of Sergeant and receiving 3 Bronze Service Stars, the National Defense Service Medal, Army Occupation Medal (Japan), Combat Infantry Badge, and United Nations Service Medal. He worked for many years as a foreman at General Electric in Lynn. Harry passed away peacefully at home after a brief illness surrounded by his loving family. He was 74 years of age.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations in Harry's memory may be made to the Hallmark Health Hospice, 100 Hospital Road, Malden MA 02148.

The Memorial Home is handicapped accessible and a children’s lounge is available. Courtesy valet parking at the front entrance and ample off street parking is also available. For transportation to the memorial home please call 617-569-0990.

Services will conclude with Harry being laid to rest in the V.A. Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
