WALTER RICHARD BOEHNER, JR.
Walter passed away on Monday, October 12, 2009. He was born on March 28, 1951 in Boston and grew up in Oakview with his paretns, Walter and Marie and sister, Betsy. He attended St. Camillus grade school, graduated from Gonzaga College High School in 1968, and completed his BA at GWU in 1973, where he met his wife of 27 years, Nina. He worked in the messenger-delivery industry, retiring in 2007. His knowledge of DC area agencies, businesses and addresses was encyclopedic. Walter loved riding his motorcycle, his cats, music, art, and bonsai trees. He was a loving husband, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and great friend to many and will be dearly missed. Family and friends will gather for a memorial service to honor his life at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Blvd. W., Silver Spring, MD 20901.
