Silvio E. Gallo, age 72, of Randallstown, died Wednesday March 31, 2004, at his home.

He was the son of the late Peter Gallo and the late Thressa Gallo (nee Volpe).

He was born March 30, 1932 in Brockway, PA.

His education was Chartered Life Underwriter from American College of Life Underwriters in 1967.

He was an Agent, Life Ins. Sales & Service and securities investment for Peoples Life Ins., Lincoln National and mainly from Mass Mutual Life Ins. Co., since August 1967. He was a member and a Eucharistic Minister at Holy Family R.C. Church in Randallstown. He was a CPL in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Baltimore Life Underwriters; Association of Chartered Life Underwriters.

He was the husband of Teresa Gallo (nee Verderaime), married May 13, 1961 at St. Ambrose Church, Baltimore, MD.

He was the father of Maria G. Agiato and husband Joseph of Garden City, NY, Anthony P. Gallo and wife Wendy of Cockeysville, MD, Gina G. Dembeck and husband R. Terrence of Perry Hall, MD, and Carla G. Hagan and husband John of New Hope, PA.

He was brother of Angelina Bost, Vincent Gallo, Anthony A. Gallo, Lena Wilburn, Violet Mohr, Samuel Gallo, and Florence Hammerbacker.

He was grandfather of Christopher, Andrew, Elizabeth, Emily, Michael, Natalie, Kayla and Nicholas.

Funeral Liturgy (MASS) will be Saturday April 3, 2004 at 9:00 A.M. at Holy Family R.C. Church, 9533 Liberty Road, Randallstown, with Fr. Walter McGovern of Holy Family R.C. Church in Randallstown officiating.

Interment will be Lake View Memorial Park, Sykesville, MD.

Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Directors, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) on Thursday 7-9 PM and Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Vigil Service Friday 7:30 P.M.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to American Cancer Society, 1393 Progress Way, Suite 908, Eldersburg, MD 21784.

Minerva R. Jaeger 80, of Marriottsville, MD
1924 - 2004

Minerva R. Jaeger (nee Carey), age 80, of Marriottsville, died Tuesday April 13, 2004 at Northwest Hospital Center, Randallstown, MD.

She was the wife of John Robert Jaeger-living.

She was born February 15, 1924 in PA. The daughter of the late Calvin Carey and the late Sadie Carey (nee Bishop).

She was a Licensed Practical Nurse at Springfield State Hospital and later at Elder Care-Continuum Care in Sykesville.

She was Past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star Freedom Chapter #87 and Past President of the Social Order of the Beauceant Westminster Assembly #245. She was a member of Elders Baptist Church in Eldersburg.

Mother of Barbara R. Korman of Hampstead and Peter Jaeger and wife Tracy of Westminster; and foster mother of Pamela Swengel of York, PA.

Sister of Eugene Carey of Sherman, TX, Calvin Carey Jr., of Eldersburg, Violet Wike of Gettysburg, PA and Betty Heflin of Gettysburg and the late Chester Carey.

Loving Grandmother of Christian Jaeger, Jacqueline Jaeger, George Robert Jaeger, Samantha Korman and Natalie Korman.

Funeral Service will be held Friday April 16, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at Elders Baptist Church 1216 Liberty Road, Eldersburg, with Pastor Jim Edmonson of Elders Baptist Church in Eldersburg officiating.

Interment will be in St. John’s Evangelical (Leisters) Lutheran Church cemetery, Westminster, MD

Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Directors, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) on Thursday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM.

Order of the Eastern Star Freedom Chapter #87 Memorial Service Thursday 8:00 PM at the funeral home

1931 - 2004

James B. Winther, age 72, of Ocala, Fl., died Saturday April 10, 2004 at Legacy House in Ocala Florida.

He was born November 16, 1931 in Germany, the son of the late Ocke L. Winther and the late Erna I. Schmidt Winther.

He was retired as an Electronics Engineer for the Library of Congress.

He was in the Air Force between 1948-1955 as a Staff Sgt.

He was the husband of Beverly Winther (nee Curry).

He was father of Carolyn Merek of Gaithersburg, MD, Susan Johnson of Waldorf, MD, Scott Winther of Slidell, Louisiana, Leigh Shook of Mt. Airy, MD, David Shook of Summerville, SC, Kathy Double of Mt. Airy and Michelle Mangum of Germantown, MD.

Also survived by 13 grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday April 15, 2004 at 12:30 P.M. at Burrier-Queen Funeral Directors, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) with the Rev. O.F. “Bud” Kibbe, Methodist clergy officiating.

Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Frederick, MD.

Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home on Thursday April 15, 2004 from 11:30-12:30 PM at Which Time Service will begin.

He was born February 11, 1930 in Baltimore, MD the son of the late Ike Connelly and the late Amabel Winkel Connelly.

He was a Night Watch Man for Rubber Millers

He was the husband of the late Ida Mabel (nee Lemmons) Connelly

Father of Del Gathagan of Winfield and Beverly Runnels of CA

Brother of the late Blanche and Fern Bush

Also survived by 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren

Friends will be received Wed. 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield.

The funeral will be 10:00 AM on Thursday April 15, 2004 at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home with Rev. Jo West.

Interment will be in Cedar Hill cemetery, Brooklyn, MD

Nellie F. Jones 81, formerly of Middle River, MD
1923 - 2004

Nellie F. Jones, 81, formerly of Middle River, Baltimore, died Saturday evening, April 17, 2004, at Chicora Medical Center, Chicora, Pa.

Born Feb. 7, 1923, in Carroll County, she was the daughter of Harvey Munshaur and Gertrude Lease. She was the wife of the late Edgar Smith Jr. and Francis Jones.

She was a graduate of Mount Airy High School, Mount Airy and was retired from the credit department of Montgomery Wards, Baltimore. She was an avid bowler. She was of the Protestant faith.

Through the years she had lived in Mount Airy, New Windsor, Lisbon and Middle River before moving to Chicora Medical Center in Chicora, Pa.

Surviving are son Wayne McArthur Smith of Mars, Pa., granddaughters Britta Manges and husband Brad and Marissa and Keira Smith, all of Mars, Pa.; sisters Dolly Dayhoff of Lisbon and Mary Josephine Coady of Frederick; brothers Kenneth Munshaur, Lawrence Munshaur and Alton Munshaur, all of New Windsor; daughter-in-law Sheila Cress Smith; sisters-in-law Jane Smith Beaver of Frederick, Lorraine Smith Ridgely and husband Charles of Mount Airy, Charlotte Smith Mullinix and husband Richard of Woodbine; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by brother Carlton E. Munshaur.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield, with the Rev. O.F. "Bud" Kibbe officiating. Interment will follow in Moreland Memorial Park, Baltimore.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to Chicora Medical Center, 160 Medical Center Road, Chicora, PA 16025 or to the charity of one's choice.

Sharon Lynn Uhlig (nee Case), age 42, of Sykesville, died Thursday April 22, 2004, at Carroll Hospital Center, Westminster.

She was born October 11, 1961, Baltimore, MD, the daughter of Peggy A. Lowe (nee Buxbaum) of Lansdowne and Roy C. Case, Sr. of Florida.

She was a homemaker.

She was the wife of Kurt Uhlig of Sykesville

Loving Mother of Ariel A. Uhlig and Molly E. Uhlig.

Dear sister of Michael P. Case, Sr. of Severn, Pattie Ebright of Pasadena and Roy C. Case, Jr. of Annapolis.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday April 27, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at Burrier-Queen Funeral Directors, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) with the Rev. Trent Owings of Lansdowne Christian Church officiating.

Interment Loudon Park cemetery.

Bernard L. Endlich, 69, died Friday April 23, 2004 at Carroll Lutheran Village, Westminster, MD

He was the spouse of Elizabeth E. Fisher Endlich of Sykesville. He was born April 2, 1935 in Baltimore, MD the son of the late Louis B. and the late Mary Robinson Endlich.

Mr. Endlich was retired from Baltimore Gas and Electric Company where he worked 41 years as an Electrical Engineer. He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. and the Marine Corps. Drum and Bugle Corp stationed in Washington, DC. Member of the Knights of Columbus Notre Dame Council 2901. Member of the Marine Corps League of Westminster, and a Member of St. Johns Roman Catholic Church, Westminster, MD

Surviving him in addition to his wife are Son and daughter in-law; Michael and Suzanne Endlich of Littlestown, PA, Daughter and Son in-law Mary Beth and Michael Kepler of Westminster. Sister; Thelma Brophy of Baltimore. Grandchildren; Emily and Mitchell Kepler and Troy Clements, Great- Grandson Trenton Clements. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be said on Wednesday April 28, 2004 10 Am at St. Johns Roman Catholic Church, 43 Monroe St. Westminster, MD 21157.

Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park, Sykesville, MD

The Family will receive friends at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME on Tuesday from 2to 4 and 7 to 9 PM where a Christian Wake service will be held on Tuesday at 7:30 PM.

Those desiring may make contribution to St. Johns Roman Catholic Church or Carroll Hospice, 95 Carroll St. Westminster, MD 21157.

Eva Zenobia Blunt (nee Miller), age 67, of Granite, died Monday April 26, 2004 at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD

She was born January 4, 1937 in Baltimore, MD the daughter of the late Jesse E. Miller and the late Rebella Miller.

She was a Restaurant Owner at Sears.

She was a member of Granite Presbyterian Church in Granite.

She was the wife of Thomas R. Blunt.

She was the mother of Deborah A. and Husband Timothy Groves of Eldersburg, Thomas D. and Wife Cindy Gress of Owings Mills, Susan and husband John Kruger, Jr. of Eldersburg and DaVina Gress of Atlanta, GA.

Dear sister of Margaret Baker and Elizabeth Day both of Perry Hall, MD

Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.

Funeral Service will be held Friday April 30, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at Granite Presbyterian Church, 10637 Old Court Road, Woodstock, MD 21163, with the Rev. Jan Tammell-Savin of Granite Presbyterian Church in Granite officiating.

Interment will be in Granite Presbyterian Church cemetery, Granite, MD
