Donald Lee Farver, age 52, of Reisterstown, died Sunday April 3, 2005 at his home.

He was the son of the late Guy R. Farver and Margaret L. Farver (nee Atkinson) of Mt. Airy, MD.

He was born October 7, 1952 in Montgomery County, MD.

He was an electronic technician for MTA.

He was the father of Shaun Farver of Reisterstown and Shannon Farver of Upper Marlboro. Also survived by sister Barbara F. Owens of Sykesville.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday April 7, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) with the Rev. O.F. “Bud” Kibbe officiating.

Interment Morgan Chapel U.M. Church cemetery, Woodbine, MD.

Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. on Wednesday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM.

1922 - 2005

Gordon Samuel Davis, age 82, of Mt. Airy, MD died Monday April 4, 2005 at Westminster Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Westminster, MD

He was born August 7, 1922 in Gaither, Maryland the son of the late Samuel George Davis and the late Rosa Ruth Woodward Davis.

He was a retired Foreman for the Maryland State Dept. of Transportation 35 years. He also worked for B & O Railroad and farmed. He was a member of the Maryland Classified employees Association since 1962 and was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church.

He was the husband of Myra Virginia Davis (nee Porter) of Mt. Airy, MD.

He was the father of Paul J. Davis and wife Deborah of Mt. Airy and the late Andrew G. Davis and surviving daughter in law Patricia of Mt. Airy.

Grandfather of Paul J. Davis, Jr. and fiancé Linda of Hampstead, Wendy Rosenberger and husband James of Waynesboro, PA and Abby Davis of Mt. Airy, MD.

Great grandfather of Emma N. Davis of Hampstead and Katie M. Rosenberger of Waynesboro, PA.

Brother of Calvin C. Davis and wife Betty of Mt. Airy and Carl N. Davis of Mt. Airy and the late Wilbur G. Davis.

Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) on Wed. & Thurs. 3-5 & 7-9 PM.

Funeral Service Friday April 8, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield, MD, with the Pastor Roger L. Rinker of Calvary Lutheran Church in Mt. Airy officiating.

Interment will be in Mt. Olive cemetery, Gills Falls Rd.

Edward Irvin Carter, Sr., 65 of Randallstown, MD died Saturday April 9, 2005 at his home in Randallstown, MD

He was the spouse of 38 years to Mary Charlotte Reichenbach Carter also of Randallstown.

Mr. Carter was born April 2, 1940 in Hebbville, MD the son of Evelyn Virginia Kuntz Carter and the late Francis Edward Carter.

Mr. Carter was most recently retired from ED-K in Mt Washington where he worked as a fabricator. He previously had worked 26 years for DCA Food Industries. He was a member in numerous clubs and active as a Life Member or the Optimist Club of Randallstown and the Sportsman’s HFS Club, Inc in Lansdowne.

He enjoyed cooking, crabbing and fishing.

He is survived by a sister; Mae Sereduick of Eldersburg.

Step-son: William Cain of Baltimore, Step-daughter: Candy and Steve Jacovsky of Randallstown, Step-daughter: Jean Cain and Special Friend Robert Merlo of Lansdowne, Daughter: Brenda and Joseph Ciccone of Finksburg, Son: Edward I. and Dana Rene Carter, Jr. of Finksburg. Daughter: Mary and Kevin Alarie of Crofton

Brother-in-law and sister-in-law: John and Bonnie Reichenbach of Dundalk

4 Grandchildren and 1 Great-grandson.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday April 13, 2005 11:00 AM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A. 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park, Sykesville, MD

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM

William Thomas Covington, Jr. 68, of Woodbine, MD
1937 - 2005

William Thomas Covington, Jr., 68 of Woodbine, MD, died Monday April 11, 2005 at Carroll Hospital Center.

He was the spouse of Helen Irene Welsh Covington of Woodbine.

He was born April 9, 1937 in Hopkinsville, KY the son of the late William Thomas Covington, Sr. and the late Ruby Gibbs Covington.

He worked 31 years for Sweetheart Cup as a Maintenance Man. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy.

Surviving him in addition to his wife are Son and Daughter-in-law Gregory and Robin Covington of Sykesville, Daughter and Son-in-law Pam and Dean Zepp of New Windsor. Daughter and Son-in-law Deborah and Darrell Asbury of Tazewell, VA, Son and Daughter-in-law Rodney and Sally Covington of Sykesville, Sister Martha Covington of Hopkinsville, KY, Brother Herbert Covington of Hopkinsville, KY, 9 Grandchildren and 8 Great-grandchildren Preceded in death by Son Allen Lee Covington.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday April 14, 2005 11:00 am with the Rev. O.F. “Bud” Kibbe officiating.

Interment will be in Pleasant Ridge cemetery Woodbine, MD

The Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM

Nevada "Bobbie" Smith Justice 73, of Mt. Airy, MD
1931 - 2005

Nevada “Bobbie” Barbara Smith Justice, 73 of Mt. Airy, MD, died Thursday April 14, 2005 at Westminster Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the spouse of the late Everett Eugene Justice, Sr. she was born April 26, 1931 in Unionville, MD the daughter of the late George Lester and Gladys Mae Ledford Smith.

She worked for over 30 years at the Double T Diner at Rolling Rd and Route 40. She was also a caregiver to the elderly. She was a member of the Westminster Moose and American Legion Gold Star Post 191 Mt. Airy, MD and Four Counties VFW Post 10076 Mt. Airy, MD.

She is survived by an Adopted Son and nephew- Gary Redmond of Westminster, Step-daughter Darlene D. Claypoole of Mt. Airy. Sisters: Ruth Geraldine Smith of Virginia, Carrie I. Ecker and Husband Sam of Finksburg and Shirley Silvius of Reisterstown, Brother George Herbert Smith and wife Charlotte of Finksburg. Numerous Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by Step-son Everett Justice Jr., Brother Calvin G. Smith and Sister Lola M. Shoemaker.

Funeral Services will be held Monday April 18, 2005 11:00 AM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784 with the Rev. Roger Rinker of Calvary Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will be in Poplar Springs UMC cemetery, Poplar Springs, MD the family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday 7-9 and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM

Thelma Browning Turner 77, of Sykesville, MD
1928 - 2005

Thelma Browning Turner, age 77, of Sykesville, died Monday April 18, 2005 at home.

She was born March 26, 1928 in Marmet, West Virginia the daughter of the late Golden Browning and the late Berta Jarell Browning.

She retired as a secretary for the Chessie System 40 years. She was the President of Railway Women Club. She sang in Sweet Adelines, she was a Sunday School Teacher, she was a Choir Director. She was a member of Elders Baptist Church in Eldersburg.

She was the mother of Paul D. Moore and Wife Christine N. Moore of Finksburg, and David A. Moore and wife Sharon K. Moore of Sykesville, MD.

She was the sister of Ira Browning of Ft. Meyers, Florida and Ivan Browning of Cincinnati, Ohio and Virginia Taylor of South Carolina.

She was the grandmother of Allison, Ashley, Heather and the late Ryan.

Great grandmother of Austin, Logan and Elizabeth.

Gathering of family and friends will be on Friday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. At Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School ).

Memorial Service will be Saturday April 23, 2005 at 11:30 AM at Elders Baptist Church, 1216 Liberty Road, Sykesville, with the Rev. Jim Edmonson of Elders Baptist Church officiating.

Private Interment

Memorial Contributions can be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 1850 York Road, Ste. D, Timonium, MD 21093.

William C. Chinault, age 87, of Overbrook Road, Towson, died Monday April 18, 2005 at Keswick Multi-Care in Baltimore, MD.

He was born May 15, 1917 in Baltimore, MD the son of the late William W. Chinault and the late Catherine McNamara Chinault.

He worked for Mass Transit as a Bus Driver. He was a member of St. Pias Church on York Road.

He was the husband of the late Helen May Chinault (nee Cherry).

He was the father of Catharine Cherry Meeks, Helen Frances Knight, Claire Lucille Floyd, Claudia Louise Ittenbach, Elizabeth Jean (Bobbie) Philipp and Gail Roberta Watts; dear brother of Earl and Walter Chinault; also survived by 20 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.

Catholic Prayers will be held Saturday March 23, 2005 at 9:30 AM at St. Pias Catholic Church 6428 York Road, with Fr. Robert Traupman of St. Pias Church officiating.

Interment will be in Gardens of Faith cemetery

Walter “Roy” Day, Sr., 73 of Taylorsville, MD, died Wednesday April 20, 2005 at his home in Taylorsville.

He was the spouse of the late Betty Ann V. Pickett Day. He was born May 17, 1931 in Frederick County MD the son of the late William Earl Day and the late Pearlie M. Wright Day. He was a Mason and the owner of W. Roy Day Stone, Block and Brick since 1949. He was a member of the Westminster Moose, the Westminster VFW and the Littlestown Eagles. He enjoyed Woodworking, Gardening Camping and socializing with friends at his Shed.

Surviving are Son : Walter Roy Day, Jr. Of Winfield, Daughter and Son-in-law Debra D. and Joseph Dorsey of Taneytown Son and Daughter-in-law Mark A. and Shaun Day of Taylorsville Step-daughter and step-son-in-law Linda and Walter Warehime of Littlestown, PA Step-daughter Wanda Ketterman of Pennsylvania Brother Leo Augustus Day of New Market, Devoted friend and companion Darlene Shipley 10 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren. Also preceded in death by brothers Leslie, Ray, Francis and Fred Day.

A Casual Gathering of Friends will be held on Sunday April 24, 2005 1PM at Mr. Day’s home 2336 Sams Creek Rd. Westminster, MD 21157.

Inurnment Private at Taylorsville UMC cemetery, Taylorsville, MD

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5 PM until 9 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A., 1212 West Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784

Gregory Scott Tracy 36, of Randallstown, MD
1968 - 2005

Gregory Scott Tracy, age 36, of Randallstown, died Thursday April 21, 2005, at his home.

He was born April 29, 1968 in Baltimore, MD the son of Grace C. Tracy (nee McCall) of Randallstown and the late Ronald B. Tracy.

He was a plumber for Blue Dot. He enjoyed fishing and gardening.

Dear Brother of Deborah Edmondson of Finksburg, Judith Stroosnyder of Finksburg, R. Bruce Tracy of Joppa, Cynthia Miller of Westminster, Stephanie Kerns of Hampstead and Valerie Perhac of Westminster.

Also survived by 10 nieces and nephews and 1 great niece.
