Sally Putnam (Prentiss) Sargent

WATERVILLE & PALMYRA - Sally Putnam (Prentiss) Sargent, of Waterville, was taken home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 21, 2007 after journeying her last few months here on earth with cancer. Upon retiring she moved in with her son, Matthew and his family in Waterville, where she was cared for until her death. Sally was a humble woman. She stored up treasures in heaven by opening her arms to the poor and extending her hands to the needy. Her love for her family and for God was evident in her life. She was a woman of contentment both in times of hardship and times of joy. Praises for her Savior were always on her lips and she passed wisdom and Truth on to those she encountered. Whether traveling the country by motorhome, or exploring the great state of Maine on his motorcycle, he was happiest outdoors. He was humane, and this was his life, a journey not to be wasted.
