VAN WAGNEN, MARGARET (PEG) Age 87 of NHC Cavett Hill in Farragut, Tennessee, formerly of Detroit Michigan, passed away Saturday evening August 28, 1999 at Park West Hospital in Knoxville, TN. Margaret was born in Chicago, IL, September 14, 1911. She was a graduate of Michigan State Norman College and attended the University of Michigan. She was a Phys Ed teacher at Northeastern and Denby High Schools in Detroit for many years. Peg was preceded in death by her husband, E.H. VanWagnen who headed the General Motors Overseas Division in Detroit for many years. She is survived by her loving family: daughters and sons in law, Jan and Don Miller of the Tellico Village Community Loudon, TN, Linda Winchell of Port Huron, MI, Sandi and Rick Martin of Decatur, AL; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; Memorial services 4 p.m. Saturday, September 11, 1999 in the Click Funeral Home Chapel, Dr. Carl Burke officiating.
