RUSSELL STEWART KIRKUM
Age 82, of Ray Township, died Feb. 17, 2001. Mr. Kirkum was employed by Iron Rite and National Twist Drill, was a farmer and a member of Armada Senior Citizens. He is survived by his sons, Kenneth of Fairview and William of Ray Township; daughters, Joanne Wiers of Washington, Bonnie Rojeski of Ray Township, Sandra Jacob of Armada and Terri Thibodeau of Shelby Township; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and sister, Ruth Chase of Washington. He was predeceased by his wife, Josephine; and sister, Eleanor Smith. Services were held in Tiffany-Young and Hauss Funeral Home, Armada, with the Rev. Russell Stevens officiating. Burial was in Centennial cemetery, New Haven.

KATHLEEN P. LAUBACH
Age 45, of Marine City, died Feb. 19, 2001. Mrs. Laubach was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Marine City. She is survived by her sons, Wayne of New Baltimore and Aaron of Marine City; Ron, Chris, Shawn and Shelby; father, Henry Wyrybkowski of Sterling Heights; and brothers, Greg Wyrybkowski of Sterling Heights and Paul Wyrybkowski of Nevada. She was predeceased by her mother, Patricia. Services were held in Bower-Rose Funeral Home, Marine City, with the Rev. James Wysocki officiating. Burial was in Resurrection cemetery, Clinton Township. Memorials may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society.

MARGUERITE J. BUTLER
Age 75, of Algonac, died Feb. 18, 2001. Mrs. Butler was employed by Fair Haven Industries and Payless Shoe Source. She is survived by her daughter, Diane Senger of Marine City; son, Ray of New Baltimore; and four grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Ray. Services were held in Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac, with Canon Walter Barnes of St. Andrews Episcopal Church, officiating. Burial was in Oaklawn cemetery.

ROBERT A. J. DeBUSSCHERE
Age 76, of Port Huron, formerly of Casco, died Feb. 17, 2001. Mr. DeBusschere was retired from Chrysler Corporation as a boiler operator, served his country in the U.S. Army, and was a member of VFW James Coleman Post, Richmond. He is survived by his sons, Carl, Stephen and Tom, all of Port Huron, Robert of Ira and John of California; daughters, Susan, Rose Capps, Doris Surges and Tina Pearman, all of California; 19 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph of Florida; and sisters, Leona Churchhill of Mount Clemens and Doris Suess and Mary Beebe, both of Casco. He was predeceased by his brothers, Amiel, August and Donald. Services were held in Christie-Olszewski Funeral Home, New Baltimore, with the Rev. Sig Kowalczyk officiating. Burial was in Sacred Heart cemetery, Anchorville.

PAMELA HOSFORD
Age 57, of Marine City, died Feb. 21, 2001. Mrs. Hosford is survived by her husband, Ben; sons, Neil of Chesterfield and Ben of Florida; daughters, Robin Stanley of Columbus, Tammy Pray of Marine City and Nicole Scott of Algonac; 10 grandchildren; brothers, David Ledford of California and Thomas Ledford of Marine City; and sisters, Betty Lou Spilak of California, Debbie Rabidue of Avoca and Penny Faucher of East China. Services were held in Bower-Rose Funeral Home, Marine City, with the Rev. Tom McNerney officiating. Burial was in Maple Grove cemetery, Starville. Memorials may be made to Michigan Humane Society.

CARL WALTER OMAN JR.
Age 50, of Topeka, Kansas, formerly of Mount Clemens, died Feb. 19, 2001. Mr. Oman had been employed by the City of Mount Clemens. He is survived by his mother, June of St. Clair; brother, Kenneth of Rochester; sisters, Janice Ulman of Fair Haven, Sandra Reinacher of Harrisville and Karen Caryl of Port Huron; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Carl Sr. Services were held in Harold W. Vick Funeral Home, Mount Clemens. Memorials may be made to the wishes of the family.

JOHN F. WARWICK
Age 84, of Marine City, died Feb. 20, 2001. Mr. Warwick was retired from the U.S. Postal Service, was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church and a mason in the S. Ward Lodge, Marine City. He is survived by his sons, John and Alan, both of East China; daughters, Kay Hayden of Colorado and Sheryl Corbat of East China; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Shirley; brother, Spencer; and sisters, Frieda Heaslip and Katherine Lozon. Services were held in St. Mark's Episcopal Church, with the Rev. Rebecca Baird Lepley officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn cemetery. Arrangements were made by Bower-Rose Funeral Home, Marine City. Memorials may be made to St. Mark's Church or Marine City Scholarship Foundation.

LOUISE E. MARKEL
Age 52, of East China, died Feb. 16, 2001. Mrs. Markel taught home economics at L'Anse Creuse High School, Mount Clemens, was a member of Delta Zeta sorority and St. Martin's Lutheran Church, Marine City. She is survived by her son, Joseph II of Marine City; parents, Reino and Elsie Akkala of Chatham; and brother, David Akkala of Chatham. Services were held in St. Martin's Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Dr. Donna J. Osterhout officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn cemetery, Marine City. Arrangements were made by Bower-Rose Funeral Home, Marine City. Memorials may be made to the family.

HARRY R. PELLETIER
Age 71, of Harsen's Island, died Feb. 22, 2001. Mr. Pelletier was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and the Harsen's Island Lions Club. He is survived by his wife, JoAnn; son, David; three grandchildren; and sisters, Virginia Lang and Mary Lou Hinton. Services were held in Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac, with Canon Walter Barnes of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, officiating. Burial was in Michigan Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Leader Dog for the Blind.

JOHN CARL KRONNICH
Age 51, of Marine City, died Feb. 21, 2001. Mr. Kronnich was employed by the city of Marine City and the automotive industry, served his country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam, and was a volunteer fireman for the Marine City Fire Department. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen; son, John of Marine City; daughters, April Weiller and Jessica, both of Marine City; five grandchildren; mother, Ramona of Marine City; sisters, Ruth Ann Senger of East China Township and Kathryn Jo Rhodes of Marine City; and brother, Steven of Algonac. He was predeceased by his father, Thomas. Services were held in Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, China, with the Rev. Wilma Handley officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn cemetery, Marine City. Memorials may be made to Life of Faith Fellowship, Port Huron.

VIVIAN A. RISKE
Age 74, of Fair Haven, died Feb. 23, 2001. Ms. Riske was employed by Marsh Industries, Chesterfield Township. She is survived by her nephews, Terry Riske of Warren, formerly of Marine City, and Bill Riske of Chesterfield; niece, Vicky Bassett of Florida; and many extended family members. Services were held in Bower-Rose Funeral Home, Marine City, with the Rev. Harvey W. Reh officiating. Burial was in Hillside cemetery, St. Clair.

FREDERICK RAYMOND ALBERS
Age 51, of Richmond, died Feb. 19, 2001. Mr. Albers is survived by his sisters, Mary Daugherty of Florida and Joyce Jeansberg of Richmond; brothers, Richard of Florida, Paul of Kentucky, George of Harrison Township and James of Richmond. He was predeceased by his brothers, Donald and Robert. Services were held in Duncan-Olszewski Funeral Home, New Haven. Burial was in Centennial cemetery, New Haven.

EVELYN M. FRALEY
Age 92, of St. Clair, died Feb. 19, 2001. Mrs. Fraley was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Clair. She is survived by her daughters, Phyllis Schweiger and Cheryl Russell, both of St. Clair, Marguerite Mugridge of Burton and Melanie Priehs of Kimball Township; sons, Francis of Gaylord, Kenneth of Goodells, Eugene, Gauis and Alan, all of St. Clair, Dennis and Steven, both of Marysville, Neil of Georgia and Richard of Port Huron; 49 grandchildren; 83 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and sister, Mildred Nelson of Port Huron. She was predeceased by her husband, Neil; son, Gerald; sister, Katherine Kleehammer; and brother, John Siefert. Services were held in Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, China, with Mass following in St. Mary's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Edward Ritter officiating. Burial was in Hillside cemetery, St. Clair. Memorials may be made to St. Clair Little League.
