DONALD EDWARD MARSHALL
Donald Edward Marshall, 69, of Marlette, passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2000 at Port Huron Mercy Hospital in Port Huron.
He was born September 9, 1930 in Clawson, Michigan, the son of the late Thomas and Doris (Agar) Marshall.
He was a lifelong area resident residing in Sandusky for 25 years, before moving back to Marlette.
He was a 1949 graduate of Peck High School and a 1953 graduate of Michigan State University.
He was active in the Boy Scout Troop #333.
He married
Helen Parker on June 22, 1957 in Palestine, Illinois.
He owned and operated Marshall Real Estate in Sandusky for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Helen; two sons, Thomas and Miae Marshall of Ohio and Dale and Margaret Marshall of Marlette; three brothers, Lee and Ann Marshall of Georgia, Jerry and Janet Marshall of Marlette and Dean Marshall of Georgia; and two granddaughters, Kimberly and Victoria.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, May 27, 2000 at 1:00 p.m. at the Marsh Funeral Chapel, Marlette with Rev. Gary Butterfield officiating.
Interment was at the Marlette cemetery.
Pallbearers included William Marshall, Daniel Marshall, James Coulouris, Duane Spicer, Kenneth Harding Jr. and Jack D'Arcy.
LINDA J. MCMANN
Linda J. McMann, 52, a homemaker, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2000 at St. Joseph Hospital in Tawas City, Michigan.
She lived in Hale, Michigan for five years and was previously from Wixom, Michigan.
She was born August 31, 1947 in Flint, Michigan the daughter to Henry and June (Hammond) Heal.
She married
Earl B. McMann on May 26, 1978 in Clearwater, Florida.
She was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hale, Michigan.
She is survived by her husband, Earl; three sons, Earl H. and Debby McMann of Auburn, Michigan, David and Ronna Kern of Hale, Michigan and Darren and Veronica Kern of St. Clair, Michigan; a step-son, Todd and Rose McMann of Capac, Michigan; a step-daughter, Crystal and Fred Rosseau of Capac, Michigan; nine grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; and four brothers.
She was preceded in death by her father, Henry T. Heal; her mother, June Hammond; and a son, Douglas Kern.
Funeral services were observed Wednesday, May 24, 2000 at 7:00 p.m. at the Marsh Funeral Chapel, Marlette with Rev. Gary Nehring officiating.
Cremation followed the service at the Sunset Valley Crematory in Bay City, Michigan. Memorials may be given to the family.
LOUISE M. AGAR
Generous neighbor, loving mother and grandmother Louise M. Agar died after a lengthy illness in Convenant Care (St. Lukes) in Saginaw on May 16, 2000 at the age of 84.
She was born in the Decker area August 11, 1915, the daughter to the late Orton and Catherine (Schwegler) Klinkman.
On January 1, 1942, she married
Roy Agar. They were married
for almost 55 years until his death on November 16, 1996.
She was a homemaker and help-mate on the family dairy farm.
She attended Pidd School, worked in several homes caring for others and was employed by Dr. Webster for several years before marriage. She was a charter member of the Marlette Hospital Auxiliary of which she has been a member for 49 years. She did volunteer work as a Grey Lady and also worked in the hospital gift shop. She was a past 4-H leader and active member of the Germania Lutheran Ladies Aid. She was a past Friendship Club and Farm Bureau member. She enjoyed cooking, her family and traveling with her husband Roy.
She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn (Leon) Trainor of Snover; her son, Keith Agar of Marlette; grandsons, Michael Trainor of Marlette and David and Steven Trainor of Snover; sisters, Margaret (Vyron) Beulter of Kingston and Laura Dale of Marlette; brother, Wilfred (Arlene) Klinkman of Smiths Creek and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy; parents, Orton and Catherine Klinkman; and a brother, Charles Klinkman.
Funeral services were conducted Friday, May 19, 2000 at 1:00 p.m. at the Marsh Funeral Chapel in Marlette with Rev. Kenneth Parker officiating. Burial was be in the Marlette cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the donation of your choice.
Acting as casketbearers were Michael Trainor, David Trainor, Linwood Dale, Glen Klinkman, Dennis Klinkman, Ron Beulter and Eugene Beulter.
ROBERT L. REYNOLDS
Robert L. Reynolds, 75 of Summerfield, Florida, passed away May 18, 2000 at his residence.
He was born in Jackson, Michigan and moved to Florida in 1978 from Marlette, Michigan.
He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and was retired as a service representative for the mobile home industry.
He was a member of the Pentecostal Faith Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Jane Reynolds of Summerfield; two daughters, Debbie Friday of Ocala, Florida and Diane Reynolds of Leesburg, Florida; one son, Robert "Bobby" J. Reynolds of Belleview, Florida; two sisters, Irene Saunders of Ostego, Michigan and Bessie Walz of Jackson, Michigan; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Carl Rex Heussner.
Funeral services were conducted at the Hiers Belleview Funeral Home, Belleview, Florida.
DONALD J. DALE
Donald J. Dale, 83, a farmer, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2000 at his home in Marlette. He was a life long resident of Marlette.
He was born on May 8, 1917 in Marlette, the son of the late James and Frances (Boyne) Dale.
He married
Laura Klinkman of November 17, 1945 in Marlette.
He was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church, M.M.P.A., D.H.I.A., and the Sanilac Farm Bureau.
He is survived by his wife, Laura; a son, Linwood and Elizabeth Dale of Marlette; two daughters, Deanna and Tom Stamp of Marlette and Cathy and Jack Nickens of Marlette; a brother, Floyd and Hilda Dale of Marlette; a sister, Eleanor Eagle of Sandusky; 10 grandchildren, Brian and Ginger Stamp, Lisa and Mike Laskey, Laura Stamp, Jamie Dale, Robert Dale, Jonathan Dale, Anthony Dale, Mike and Lore Nickens, Mark Nickens, Matt Nickens and one great-grandson, Owen Laskey.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Dale; his mother, Frances Boyne; and a sister, Ruth Neuman.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, May 16, 2000 at 1:00 p.m. at the Marsh Funeral Chapel in Marlette with Rev. Kenneth Parker of the Second Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment was at Germania cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Second Presbyterian Church.
JEFFERY ALLEN NAUKA
Jeffery Allen Nauka, 18, of Snover died Tuesday, May 2, 2000 at St. Mary's Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan.
He was born August 30, 1981 in Cass City, Michigan.
He was currently in the 11th grade at Cass City High School.
He is survived by his mother, Kathleen & Gregory Stier of Romeo; father, Thomas Nauka of Snover; brother, Joseph A. Nauka age 16; grandfather, Edward Nauka of Decker and grandmother, Marion Moskow of Allenton.
A Memorial Service was held Friday, May 5, 2000 at 2:00 PM at the Marsh Funeral Chapel, Marlette with Rev. David Mercer officiating. Cremation was at Sunset Valley Crematory, Bay City, Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given for family wishes.

MARY T. BOYLE
Mary T. Boyle, 77, a retired foster care worker, died Thursday, May 11, 2000 at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan.
Mrs. Boyle has lived in North Branch Michigan for 40 years. She was born July 14, 1922 in North Branch, the daughter of the late D.L. and Etta Mae (Loucks) Blackmer.
She married
Charles Boyle November 24, 1962 in North Branch, he passed away August 26, 1992.
Mrs. Boyle worked 27 years in Foster Care, 5 years at the Allen Home Health Care in Cass City and 20 years for M.K. Chambers Machine Shop in North Branch.
She is survived by two sons: Kelly and Kim Boyle of Attica, and Stan and Margaret Lewiski of North Branch; three daughters: Bernadean and John Clothier of Flint, Barbara Cripps of Acworth, GA, Kendra and Russell Richmond of Clifford; five step sons: Jerome Boyle of North Branch, Lyle Boyle of Davison, Earl Boyle of North Branch, Cecil and Corine Boyle of North Branch, Lowell and Sally Boyle of Tennessee; four step daughters: Helen and Melvin Meservey of Saginaw, Mina Mae and Norman Haggadone of St. Helens, Caroline Woodward of Lapeer, Harlene Chambers of North Branch; three brothers: Martin and Thersa Blackmer of Marlette, Clayton Blackmer of California, Donald and Elaine Blackmer of Almont; two sisters: Minnie Kile of North Branch, Beatice and Stan Hobson of Detroit, 18 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, several step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles, her father, D.L. Blackmer, and her mother, Etta Mae Loucks, brothers Amos, Walter, David, Charles, John, Elwood, L.D., Neil Blackmer, sisters Ruby Smith, Ella Baker, step daughter Ellen Ann Walker and grandchildren Shelby, Kelly Jr., Christian.
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 13, 2000 at 1:00 p.m. at Marsh Funeral Chapel in Marlette with Fr. Jude Ellinghausen officiating. Cremation will follow the funeral at the Sunset Valley Crematory in Bay City, Michigan.
Donations may be given to the American Cancer Society or Lapeer Co. Hospice.
Visitations were held at the Marsh Funeral Chapel in Marlette on Friday 3:30 pm to 9:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am until the time of service.
EDWIN WILHELMSEN
Funeral services for Edwin "Big Ed" Wilhelmsen, 61, of Navasota were conducted Tuesday , March 21 at Nobles Funeral Chapel.
The Rev. Henry Sanders of Faith Outreach officiated.
Wilhelmsen died at 7:20 a.m. on Friday, March 17, 2000 at Houston V.A. Medical Center. He was born on September 7, 1938 in Deford, Michigan, the son of Homer and Lydia (Cooper) Wilhelmsen. He was a member of the Bryan VFW, U.S. Army retired after 22 years, and worked for Morgan Drive Away for 23 years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lydia Cribley; brother, Larry Wilhelmsen; sons, Billy Joe Wilhelmsen and Edwin Wilhelmsen Jr. His father, Homer Wilhelmsen of Marlette, has since passed away.
Surviving are his wife, Judy Wilhelmsen of Navasota, sons and daughters-in-law, Edward and Jeannie Kellar of Navasota, John and Angie Kasdorf of Kingston; daughters and sons-in-law, Louise Ann Mitchell of Missouri, Susan Sumner, Jesse Wilhelmsen and Allen McGrath, all of Navasota, Jeanne and Calvin Kogelman of Washington, Mich.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ernest and Joan Williamson, Gerald and Karen Cribley, all of Zephyrhills, Fla., David and Susie Wilhelmsen of Dowling, Mich., Leo and Lynn Cribley of Dansville, Mich.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Marge and Tom Raven of Houghton Lake, Mich., Mary Alexander of Navasota, Erma and Richard Wells of Bellaire, Mich., and Jo Ann Cribley of DeWitt, Mich.; 12 grandchildren, Twanna and Jim Hardesty, Robert Berrier, Barbara Berrier, Shawnna Mitchell, Angela Fultz, Kristen Kogelman, Lauren Tanner Dandron, and Misty, Sarah and D. J. Waun, along with a number of other relatives.
