MILAN --William Love, 76, of Milan died at 10:30 p.m. Monday at Kendrick Hospital, Detroit.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held for family only from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Pleasant Valley AME Church, Belleville. The Rev. Pellam Love will officiate. Burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
Born May 9, 1926 in Detroit, he was the son of Walter and Ruth (Covinton) Love. He married Martha Lee Aug. 28, 1951.
In addition to his wife, surviving are a daughter, Antionette Love of Milan; three brothers, Nathan and Leonard, both of Milan, and Willard of Alabama, and three grandchildren.

TOLEDO --Dean O. Watkins, 43, of Toledo, whose sister lives in Lambertville, died Tuesday at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center.

Carolyn F. Solomon, 62, of Monroe, avid volunteer, active member of Monroe Council of Churches and recent winner of Monroe Public Schools’ School Bell Pin, died of natural causes at 9:50 p.m. Wednesday in her home.
Services are pending at Rupp Funeral Home.

PETERSBURG -- Trenton Richard Petticrew, infant son of Timothy and Traci (Goethe) Petticrew of Petersburg, died shortly after birth Tuesday at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ann Arbor.
Private services will be held under the direction of Cover Funeral Home, Dundee.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Mackinzie Petticrew and Cassidy Nugent, both of Petersburg; four grandparents, Richard and Patricia Petticrew of Petersburg and Fred and Linda Goethe of Canton, and two great-grandmothers, Mary Dean of Dundee and Betty Goethe of Monroe.

TEMPERANCE – Alan Richard Gray, 48, of Temperance died Friday at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Bedford Funeral Chapel. He will lie in state at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Frank Paine will officiate. Burial will be Whiteford Union cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Shelly; a son, Thomas; two daughters, Meghan and Emma, all of Temperance; brothers, James T. Jr. of Toledo, Bryan of Wauseon, Ohio, and Duane (Kathy) of Lincoln Park; two sisters, Karen (Ron) Tiede of Tecumseh, and Sharon Strahota of Erie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Thomas Edward, and a sister, Bonnie Jean.

She is survived by a son, Richard S. (Cheryl) Goss; and a daughter, Pamela Goss, both of Toledo; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and a sister, Kathern Eldridge.

She is survived by a brother, Arthur (Doris) Modzelewski; and a sister, Louise (Stanley) Wawrzyniec.
Louis A. “Uncle Louie” Wilds

Louis A. “Uncle Louie” Wilds, 81, of Monroe died at 1:15 a.m. Saturday at Tendercare Monroe. He had been ill since 1960.
There will be no visitation. Services will be held graveside at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania, Ohio. The Rev. Jerry Craig will officiate. Arrangements are being handled by Farnham Funeral Home.
He is survived by a nephew, Charles Choate of Monroe; and a niece, Nancy Sabo of LaSalle.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Harry and a sister Ellen Choate.

PETERSBURG – Patricia Ann “Pat” Krzeminski, 51, of Petersburg died Friday in Medical College of Ohio. She had been ill with ovarian cancer the past seven and a half years.

Cremation has taken place, and a private memorial service has been held. Dr. Joseph Byrd, pastor of Stewart Road Church of God, Monroe, officiated. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Rupp Funeral Home, Monroe, is in charge of arrangements.
Born Dec. 5, 1922, in Carleton, she was the daughter of Edwin and Marcella (Navarre) Heck. She married Joseph W. Sobota April 25, 1942, in Monroe.
Surviving are her husband; three sons, Edwin “Corky” (Ruby) and Rick (Lisa), both of LaSalle, and Mike of Monroe; seven grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.

Born Oct. 10, 1940, in Maybee, she was the daughter of Harry and Viola (Rendell) Randolph. She married Merle G. Preston in 1957.
Surviving are her husband; her mother of Maybee; three sons, Steve of Dundee, Timothy of Milan and Mark of Dearborn Heights; a daughter, Elaine (Dennis) Boone of Milan; three brothers, Larry, Ronald and Harry, and five grandchildren.
Esther B. Thullen

Services have been set for Esther B. Thullen, 69, of Monroe, who died at 3:50 a.m. Saturday at Mercy Memorial Hospital. She had been in declining health since November and seriously ill for three weeks.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until services at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Monroe location of Bennett Funeral Home. The Rev. John Piippo, pastor of Redeemer Fellowship Baptist Church, will officiate. Cremation will follow.
Born April 8, 1933, in Port Huron, she was the daughter of William and Esther (Klingaman) Nutt. She married James Thullen Aug. 1, 1964, in Monroe.
Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mary (David Miller) Thullen of Monroe and Dorothy (James) Mayday of Carleton, and a brother, Robert (Bernice) of Monroe.

Keith Alan Ellison, 43, of Newport died Saturday in his home. He had been in failing health for five years.

Born May 22, 1959, he was the son of Orbin and Betty (Burnett) Ellison. He married Emma Lee Hopkins. He later married Heidi Marie Hall.
Surviving are his parents of Monroe; a son, Logan M. of Newport; two daughters, Jennifer L. Ellison and Summer J. Hall, both of Monroe; a sister, Julie Ann Baker of Carleton, and a grandchild.

LaSALLE -- Harvey A. Trombley, 84, of LaSalle died at 9:18 p.m. Saturday at Mercy Memorial Hospital, Monroe. He had been in poor health for six months.

Born Jan. 22, 1919, in LaSalle, he was the son of John and Mary (Pete) Trombley. He married Joanne E. Getzinger July 2, 1949, in Monroe County. She died Nov. 19, 1970.
Surviving are six sons, Jim and Wayne, both of Monroe, Dan (Bonnie) of Newport, Larry of Manchester, Ohio, John of LaSalle and Charles (Linda) of Dundee; four daughters, Toni (Chris) Souva of Carleton, Barb Steed of Monroe, Mary (Rich) Trundell of Maybee and Helen (Tom) Wickenheiser of Ida; two brothers, Howard (Lil) of LaSalle and Wallace of Monroe; a sister, Pearl Dussia of LaSalle; 27 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren.
