JAMBOR, IRENE, Died January 7, 1998. She lived 86 good years. John Jambor Irene s husband died in 1960. Left alone with no children Irene set a wonderful example of independence, both physically and financially. Her quick sense of humor and ready smile will be remembered by all who knew her. Irene worked at St. Isaac Jogues Church until her retirement 25 years ago. She was active in the church and served as President of the Senior Citizens Group until her last illness. Irene is survived by a sister Anna and by many nieces and nephews; grand nieces and grand nephews. Visitation Friday 3-9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary at the Arthur J. VanLerberghe Funeral Home, 30600 Harper, St. Clair Shores (betw. 12-13 Mile Rd.).
