HAUSFELD, GERALD ELMER Age 77 of Naples, FL. Died Thursday, March 26, 1998. He was born on February 8, 1921 in Ferndale, MI to John and Annette Hausfeld. He was President and Owner of the Aluma-Vue Company for 37 years. Mr. Hausfeld was a Veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army where he received the Purple Heart. He is survived by his wife, Virginia J. Hausfeld, two daughters and three sons, Dianne Ciotti of Clarkston, MI, Marianne Roberts of Brentwood, England, Ronald Gerald Hausfeld of No. Hollywood, CA, Randy Hausfeld of Waterford, MI and Rick Hausfeld of White Lake, MI. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Kenneth Ciotti, Kimberly Ciotti, Matthew Roberts, Michelle Roberts, and Joshua Gerald Hausfeld. Gerald will be sadly missed, but not forgotten by his family and friends and will always be with us in our hearts and prayers. There will be no memorial service held. KARLSON, OLOF E., Of Salt Springs, Florida, formerly of Detroit passed away March 24 in Florida at the age of 92. survived by wife Muriel (Hanson) Carlson; daughter, Corinne (John) Loftus of Ortonville; son, Stephen (Pamela) Carlson of Ortonville. MAREYDT, COL. ALBERT P. Age 82. Retired Air Force, who served most of his career with the Defense Intelligence Agency, died of pneumonia March 3 in Virginia. Col. Mareydt was born in Detroit, beginning his military career during WWII. He was a Detroit police officer after the war, helping develop lie-detector techniques used in police investigations. During the Korean War, he was recalled to military service in Germany. Later he was posted in Japan. He retired from the Air Force in 1967 to Longwood, FL. In 1993 he moved to the Fairfax Retirement facility at Fort Belvoir, VA. Survivors include his wife Madeline (Piceu); daughters Carol Bruno, New Jersey and Pat Vaughan, Virginia; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and his sister Evelyn (Alex) McLuckie of Grosse Pte. Woods, MI. Burial was in Arlington cemetery on March 19, 1998.

One sister Dorothy (Frank) Wassenaar, two brothers, Kenneth (Marilyn) Miller and Clark (Mary Lou) Miller. 15 grandchildren, 22 great-granchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
