MILLER, J. MARTIN, M.D. Age 79 of Fairfield Glade, TN; formerly of Detroit. December 28, 2001. Dr. Miller was a senior staff physician in Endocrinology at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit for 35 years before his retirement to TN. In March of 2000, Dr. Miller received the Good Samaritan Award from Most Holy Trinity Church in Detroit for his work starting with the establishment of Cabrini Clinic, a free clinic for the poor, 50 years before. Dr. Miller is survived by his wife, Judith Ann Miller of Fairfield Glade, TN; a son John M. Miller M.D. and a daughter Louise Tilchen, both of Detroit; a daughter Carol A. Miller of Los Angeles; a sister Janet A. Miller of Indianapolis; and two grandsons, Matthew and Joseph Tilchen of Detroit. He was preceded in death by his two daughters, Katie A. Miller and Lauren A. Miller. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Cumberland County, 30 Adams St., Crossville, TN 38555.
