Robert F. Berry, Jr., 50, of Morton, died Friday, Sept. 24, 2004, at Morton.
Services are 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 2, at the new community center at the Lower Sioux Community. Burial will be in St. Cornelia's Episcopal Cemetery.
Visitation starts at 4 p.m., Friday, at the new community center at the Lower Sioux Community. There will be a prayer service at 7 p.m.
Arrangements are handled by Nelson-Martin Funeral Service of Redwood Falls.
He is survived by mother, Betty Lee of Morton; wife Carla Pendleton of Morton; children, Dominic Berry of St. Paul, Marcus Pendleton of Morton, Kersten Pendleton, Maurice Berry of Morton; four grandchildren; and one stepgranddaughter; brothers, Rodney Berry, Bruce Berry, Roger Berry, Dennis Berry, Richard Berry, all of Morton; and sister Marie Berry of Morton.
He was born July 24, 1954, in St. Paul, Minn., to Robert and Betty (Bluestone Lee) Berry.

Doris Jane (Adam) Cranford, 73, of Kissimmee, Fla., and formerly of New Ulm, died Thursday, Sept. 9, 2004, at her home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 2, at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm with burial in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the time of mass.
The Minnesota Valley Funeral in New Ulm is handling the arrangements.

Doris Cranford, 73, of Kissimmee, Florida and formerly of New Ulm, died Thursday, September 9, 2004 at her home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday, October 2, 2004 at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm with burial in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery. Father Samuel Perez will celebrate.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the time of mass at the Cathedral on Saturday, October 2, 2004.
The Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm is handling the arrangements.
Doris is survived by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Clarence Maidl of Lafayette, Bev and Denny Johnson of New Ulm, Lynn Adam of Wolf Lake; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Marlene Adam of Cleveland, Ken and Cathy Adam of Cross, South Carolina, Dave and Kathie Adam of Minneapolis, Jim and Sharon Adam of Brandon; and her former husband, Bill Cranford of Springfield, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her parents; a nephew, Corey Johnson; and a great niece, Karley Young.
Doris Jane Adam was born March 26, 1931, in New Ulm to Louis and Rose (Penkert) Adam. She attended New Ulm Catholic Schools and was a 1949 graduate of Holy Trinity High School. After high school she worked at the F & M Bank in New Ulm. She married Bill Cranford on September 14, 1963 at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm. After marriage, she did clerical work in various states around the country. After her divorced in 1982, she settled in Kissimmee, Florida, where she created crafts made of fabric and wood and sold them at craft shows. This past year, Doris realized a life long dream of taking a trip to Hawaii with her friends. She loved playing games, watching old movies, listening to big band and German music, making goulash and baking cookies.

Everett Stolte, 95, of New Ulm, died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2004, at the Oak Hills Living Center in New Ulm.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 8, at the United Church of Christ in New Ulm. Burial will follow in the New Ulm City Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church. A Masonic Service conducted by Charity Lodge 98 A.F. & A.M. will follow the service at the church.
Schmucker Funeral Service of New Ulm is handling the arrangements.

Donald Bahr, age 70, of Glencoe, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2004, at the Burns Manor Nursing Home in Hutchinson.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, August 3, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. at the Hughes Funeral Home in Hector.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home on Tuesday.
Donald Howard Bahr was born September 29, 1933, in Osceola Township, Renville County, Minnesota, to Herman and Hazel (Musel) Bahr.
Donald is survived by his sister Doris Bollingmo of Stewart, other relatives and friends.

Elaine Bode, 71, of 1314 North Minnesota Street in New Ulm died Friday, July 30, 2004 at the Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 4 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in New Ulm with Pastor Joyce Tollefson Capp officiating. Burial will be in the New Ulm City Cemetery in New Ulm. Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm and will continue for one hour prior to the time of servie at the church on Wednesday.
Elaine is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Larry Postel of New Ulm; son, Terry Bode of New Ulm; grandchildren, Khanya Bode, Angela Carik and her husband, Mark, Danelle Bode, Elizabeth Bode, Zach Bode, Sara Bode, Larame Postel, and Landon Postel; great grandchildren, Zoe and Ellie Carik, and her dog, Sam. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Elaine Ella Larson was born on December 23, 1932 in Bernadotte Township, Nicollet County to Harry and Freda (Gieseke) Larson. She lived in New Ulm had worked for Kraft. She had been a secretary for Heritagefest and later worked as an aide in home health care. Elaine enjoyed travelling up north, going to the lake and also going on special trips with each grandchild. She was lovingly known to them as "Grandma Tic Tac". Elaine was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in New Ulm. She was a loving mother, grandma and friend.

Mary A. Sallee, 49, of Redwood Falls and Morton, died Friday, July 30, 2004, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4, at Nelson-Martin Funeral Service in Redwood Falls. Burial will be at a later date.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
She is survived by sons, Shane Sallee and Josh Smetak of Redwood Falls; a brother, Rocky Sallee of Milton-Freewater, Ore., and a sister, Wanda Sallee of Redwood Falls.
She was born Jan. 21, 1955, in Minneapolis to James and Dorothy (Bucholz) Sallee.

James Eyrich, 55, of 412 7th South St., New Ulm, died Friday, July 30, 2004, at Immanuel-St. Joseph Hospital in Mankato.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Schmucker Funeral Service of New Ulm is handling the arrangements.
James Lloyd Eyrich, the son of Lloyd and Alice (Oetting) Eyrich, was born March 2, 1949, in New Ulm. After graduating from New Ulm High School in 1967, he attended the University of Minnesota and was a graduate of the Control Data Institute in Minneapolis. Jim was united in marriage to Marsha Steenberg June 29, 1971 in New Ulm. They made their home in Edina where he worked for Data 100. Jim and Marsha returned to New Ulm in 1974. He worked ten years as a computer tech for 3M before his medical retirement in 1987. Even with the challenges of his illness, Jim was a grateful and loving husband, father, grandfather, and patient.
Survivors include his wife, Marsha of New Ulm; daughters, Jennifer Eyrich (David Finger) of White Bear Lake; Jillian (Aaron) Wilfahrt of New Ulm; grandson, Bradley Wilfahrt of New Ulm; sisters, Mary (Bob) Hoecherl of Richfield, Kathy (Mike) Kruger of St. Paul; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Eyrich.
Memorials are preferred to the American Diabetes Association or the donor's choice.

Louise Freitag Gilbertson, 93, of Mankato and formerly of Nicollet, died Sunday, August 1, 2004, at the Hillcrest Health Care Center in Mankato.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 4, 2004 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Mankato with Pastor Wayne Eichstadt officiating.
Burial will be in the Green Lawn Cemetery, rural Nicollet.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in Nicollet and will continue for one hour prior to the time of service at the church on Wednesday.
Louise is survived by her son, Bennie W. Gilbertson and his wife, Ellen, of Mankato; grandchildren, Jeffrey Gilbertson and his wife, Lori, Sherri Iddings and her husband, Robert, all of Mankato; great-grandchildren, Lyndsy, Kari and Jeremy Gilbertson, Alisa Iddings, and Sara and Nick Thompson; a brother, Harold Freitag and his wife, Margaret, of Nicollet and a sister-in-law, Leona Freitag of Gaylord; and by nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ludwig and Louise Freitag; her husband, Bennie E. Gilbertson on October 14, 1982; and a brother, Walter Freitag.
Louise A. Freitag, the daughter of Ludwig and Louise (Hermel) Freitag, was born on April 21, 1911, in Nicollet Township, Nicollet County. She was united in marriage to Bennie E. Gilbertson on May 21, 1934. After marriage they farmed in Courtland Township, Nicollet County for forty-five years before moving to Nicollet in 1978. Louise had worked at Johnson Reel in Mankato for seventeen years before retiring in 1973. She was a former member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Nicollet. In the early 2000's she moved to Mankato to be closer to her family. She was currently a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Mankato.

Sophie A. Schauer, 88, of rural Green Isle, died Saturday, July 31, 2004, at Glencoe Regional Health Services in Glencoe.
Services are 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 4, at Zion Lutheran Church in Green Isle Township, with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, at Kolden Funeral Home in Arlington, and continues one hour before services at the church.
She is survived by children, Dawin of Cass Lake, Elaine Wolter of Arlington, Angela Rathbun of Woodbury, Norman Schauer of Green Isle; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Esther Bullert of Arlington, LaVerna Dahlke of Arlington and Louise Schwirtz of Green Isle.
She was born May 6, 1916, in Green Isle Township to Henry and Louise (Schuth) Bluemke.

Laura W. Hildebrandt, 95, of Gaylord, died Monday, Aug. 2, 2004, at the Gaylord Lakeview Home in Gaylord.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 6, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Gaylord. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m.Thursday, and 9-10:30 a.m. Friday at the church.
Arrangements are handled by the Egesdal Funeral Home in Gaylord.
She is survived by her sons, Donald Hildebrandt of St. Peter, Maynard Hildebrandt of New Ulm, Roger Hildebrandt of Texarkana, Texas, Jerry Hildebrandt of New Brighton, Charles Hildebrandt of Cross Lake, and Arlen Hildebrandt of Gaylord; daughters, Marlene Kloeckl of Gaylord, Lolly Bauer of Gaylord, and Darla Abraham of Sleepy Eye; 29 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson and sister, Ruth Lund of Gaylord.
Laura Whilamine Caroline (Schmidt) Hildebrandt was born June 4, 1909, in rural Lamberton, Cottonwood County, to Albert H. and Edith R. (Pieske) Schmidt.

Virginia (Gina) Sandhofner, 76, of rural Nicollet County, died Monday, August 2, 2004, in Nicollet County.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, Aug. 6, at Woodland Hills Chapel. Burial will be at Woodland Hills Memorial Park.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m., Thursday, at Woodland Hills Funeral Home in Mankato. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the donor's choice.
She is survived by her husband Ray of rural Nicollet County; daughter, Cindy Gleason of Nicollet; two grandsons; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Stanley Fischer of New Ulm, Edwin Fischer of Lake Crystal; and sister, Adeline Langhoff of St. Paul.
Virginia was born July 2, 1928, in Bernadotte Township, Nicollet County, Minn., to Albert and Ella (Ginkel) Fischer.

Thea Abrahamson, 99, died Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2004, at Nancy's Comfort Kare, rural St. Peter.
There will be a private family graveside service in Greenwood Cemetery, rural New Sweden, at a later date. St. Peter Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Thea was born on Jan. 13, 1905, in New Sweden to Peter and Marie (Nielsen) Hansen. She married Chester Abrahamson on Aug. 25, 1922, at Norseland Lutheran Church in Norseland. They farmed in the Bernadotte area, moving to St. Peter in 1957. She worked for St. Peter Community Hospital as a nursing aide and retired in the early 1970s.
She is survived by her daughter, Doris Mattson of St. Peter; a son, Dale Abrahamson of Sleepy Eye; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.

Mike Kirchberg, 89, of Rosen died Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2004, in a St. Paul hospital.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Rosen. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today at the Zahrbock Funeral Chapel in Madison., and after 6 p.m. tonight at the church in Rosen. There will be a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. in the church. Visitation will continue at the church on Saturday until the time of the service.
He is survived by his wife, Adelaide, of Rosen, their children, Thmas Kirchberg of New Ulm, Marvin, Paul, Jane Perry, Bernard, Catherine Mork, Peter, Arnold, Phyllis Barr, Elizabeth Bremer, and Warren.
