Clarence Ciesynski
Funeral services for Clarence John Ciesynski, 68, Blaine, took place Oct. 6 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Blaine. Rev. Pat Grile officiated.
Ciesynski died Oct. 3, 2003 at his home. He was born Dec. 4, 1934 in Cayuga, N.D., to Frank Ciesynski and Hilda Pikarski, and worked in a steel foundry.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; sons, Wayne (Donna), Dale (Julie), Allen (Lisa); five grandchildren; brothers, Frank, Edward, Raymond, George, Bernard; and sisters, Deloris and Veronica.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Jerome.
Pallbearers were Gary Rubery, Todd Rubey, Les and Lee Lindahl, Rick Johnson and Leon Hulett.
Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Methven-Taylor Funeral Home Blaine Chapel.
Jessie Clark
Memorial services for Jessie Clark, 88, Fridley, will take place tomorrow (Saturday, Oct. 11) at Emmanuel Christian Center, Spring Lake Park. Rev. Simon Risk will officiate.
Clark died Oct. 2, 2003 in Robbinsdale. She was born July 20, 1915 in Chicago, Ill., and was a retired Sears employee.
She is survived by her children, Anita (Burdell), James (Linda), Gloria, Robert (Diane); 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Benjamin; sisters, Eleanor (Fred), Sylvia, Dorothy; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Mike and wife Loretta; brothers-in-law, Joseph and Edward; sister-in-law; and son-in-law, Dan.
Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Gearhart.
Josephine Dumke
Funeral services for Josephine J. Dumke, 92, formerly of Ramsey, took place Oct. 4 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka. Rev. Roy Karner officiated.
Dumke died Oct. 1, 2003 at Wellstead of Rogers. She was born Dec. 7, 1910 in Ellendale to John G. Johnson and Edith B. Reynolds, and was a member of the Philolectian club.
She is survived by her cousins, Marie Querna of New Richland and Dorothy Hoffman of California; sister-in-law, Esther Loomer of Montana and Johanna Dumke of Fergus Falls; and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur E. Dumke.
Pallbearers were Keith Menzel, Rob Belschner, Josh and Brandon Matthies, and Joel and Skip Rumsch. Honorary pallbearers were Ray Amundson and John Sieberz.
Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home.
Bertin Gravenish
Funeral services for Bertin D. Gravenish, 88, Murdock and Blaine, took place Oct. 6 at Epiphany Catholic Church, Coon Rapids. Rev. Bernard Reiser officiated.
Gravenish died Oct. 1, 2003 in Bloomington. He was born Feb. 7, 1915 in Cherokee, Iowa, and was retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
He is survived by his sons, Michael (Nellie), James (Linda); daughter, Barbara (Larry) Cotter; grandchildren, Brenda (Ray) Williams, Michelle (Michael) Reilly, Tameron (Douglas) Anderson and Melissa (Scott) Fossum; brothers, Louis and Bill; and sister-in-law, Lucille.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia.
Pallbearers were Brenda and Ray Williams, Michelle and Michael Reilly, Tameron and Douglas Anderson, and Melissa and Scott Fossum.
Interment was at Epiphany cemetery. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.
Maurice Haynes
Funeral services for Maurice L. Haynes, 90, Coon Rapids, took place Oct. 3 at Epiphany Catholic Church, Coon Rapids.
Haynes died Sept 28, 2003. at Ambassador Good Samaritan Nursing Home, New Hope. He was born Sept. 24, 1913 in Owensboro, Ky., and was a retired postal employee. He graduated from Metropolitan State University at the age of 82.
He is survived by his wife, Deloris M. McHugo-Haynes; son, Maurice C.; daughters, Deborah A. Tang and Antoinette C. Bebonang; 12 stepchildren; and sister, Mildred.
Interment was private. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.
Lisa Heinrich
Memorial services for Lisa Heinrich, 42, Lino Lakes, took place Oct. 5 at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids. Rev. Gregory Coop officiated.
Heinrich died Sept. 24, 2003. She was born Feb. 16, 1961 in Minneapolis and was a registered nurse.
She is survived by her daughters, Kassandra and Samantha; mother, Ann Heinrich of Danbury, Wis.; father, Peter Heinrich of Bloomington; sister, Glynnis Heinrich; special friend, Al Stolee; aunts, uncles and cousins; and many friends.
Interment was private. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel.
John Mueller
Memorial services for John E. Mueller, 63, Anoka and Wishek, N.D., are pending.
Mueller died Oct. 4, 2003 in Fargo, N.D., in an accident. He spent 36 years as a business education teacher and media generalist in the Anoka-Hennepin School District before retiring. He was a farmer and had a cable television show, 'Insight, ' on QCTV.
He is survived by his wife, Donna; father and mother, Walter and Hulda of Wishek; and many relatives and friends.
Luke Siegel
Funeral services for Luke Donald Siegel, 5 months, Anoka, took place Oct. 2 at Zion Lutheran Church, Anoka. Revs. Gene Heglund and Norman Berg officiated.
He died suddenly in Coon Rapids. He was born April 26, 2003 at Mercy Hospital to William Siegel and Christy Siegel (Van Heesch).
He is survived by his parents, Will and Christy Siegel; sister, Laura; grandparents, Donald and Laura Van Heesch, Donald and Arlene Siegel; great-grandmother, Mildred Eide; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers were Sandra and Terry Stephan, and Candace and Hasitah Handapangoda.
Interment was at Forest Hill cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by Methven-Taylor Funeral Home, Anoka.
Carroll Smith
Funeral services for Carroll J. 'Jack' Smith, 53, Cedar, took place Oct. 8 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka. Rev. Roger Franzen officiated, .
Smith died Oct. 6, 2003 at his home. He was born April 29, 1950 in Minneapolis to Carroll F. and Dorothy I. (Beebe) Smith. He was a farmer and worked for Hoffman Engineering for 27 years.
He is survived by his wife, Dory; sons, Nathan of St. Paul, and Ben of Anoka; sisters, Cathryn (Larry) Lundby of Andover, Janet (Myron) Cook of Eveleth; uncles, aunts cousins, nieces and nephews; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carroll and Dorothy Smith.
Honorary pallbearers were Gary Scott, Tim Moon, Jeff Skoglund, Ron and Myron Cook and Larry Lundby. Active pallbearers were Ben, Tim and Brent Smith, Tom Grise, Jason Stone and Dick Sylvester.

Smith died Oct. 1, 2003. He was born Feb. 16, 1973 at Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., to Mark and Susan Smith, and was the owner of John's Paintless Dent Repair.
He is survived by his wife, Heather; son, Travis; parents, Dave Sonterre, Lynne Sonterre, Mark and Sue Smith; brothers, Jason (Jennifer) Sonterre, Justin Smith; sister, Christina (Mike) Hanson; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

Marie Sparks
Funeral services for Marie O. Sparks, 86, Anoka, took place Oct. 9 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Anoka. Rev. Bill Deziel officiated.
Sparks died Oct. 3, 2003 at her home. She was born Aug. 30, 1917 in Milwaukee, Wis., to William P. and Olive M. (MacRobert) Doucette, and was a retired school secretary.
She is survived by her sons, William (Mary) Sparks of Ishpeming, Mich., Richard (Martie) Sparks of Las Vegas, Nev., Jack (Kathy) Sparks of Anoka; daughter, Mary Beth (Al) Feng Sparks of Albuquerque, N.M.; grandsons, William (Vicki) Sparks, John and Patrick Stodola; brothers, Robert (maxine) Doucette of Scottsdale, Ariz., Jack (Pat) Doucette, Tom (Joan) Doucette, all of Milwaukee; sister, Josie Maceau of Phoenix, Ariz.; numerous nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren; and sisters, Catherine Clifford and Patricia Wagner.
