William Lambert

Funeral service for William T. Lambert, 77, Andover, took place June 6 at Coon Rapids United Methodist Church. Rev. Mark Miller officiated.

Lambert died June 2, 2005 at Mercy Hospital. He was born April 17, 1928 in Evanston, Ill. He was a Navy veteran and a 35-year employee of the Kellogg Company.

He is survived by his wife, Alice; children, Lesa Manias (Woody), Willie Lambert (Karen); and grandchildren, Erin (Bryan) Lemke, Laura Manias and Zach, Molly and Cassie Lambert.

He was preceded in death by his infant, son, David.

Pallbearers were Rick Ericksen, Bryan Lemke, Jesse Huser, Bruce and Jeff Olseth and Curtis Larson.

Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Pearl Mann

Funeral service for Pearl Mann, 79, Blaine, took place June 7 at Church of St. Mary, St. Paul. Rev. George Jacob officiated.

Mann died June 4, 2005 in Coon Rapids. She was born Jan. 31, 1926 in Tamarack.

She is survived by her husband, John; children, Steve Hanson (Carol), Mike Hanson (Kim), Greg Hanson (Robby), Gary Hanson (Darlene); seven stepchildren; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sister, Evelyn (Merle) Perkins.

She was preceded in death by four sisters.

Pallbearers were Scott, Paul, Eric, Michael, Gregory, Gary and Steven Hanson and Fred Van Dellen.

Interment was at Forest Hills Cemetery, Duluth. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Christopher Nelson

Memorial service for Christopher T. Nelson, 43, Ham Lake, took place June 9 at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Nelson died June 6, 2005. He was born Oct. 15, 1961 in Rockford, Ill., and was an auto mechanic.

He is survived by his children, Troy and Rachel and their mother Christy Clark; parents, Gene and Betty of Roscoe, Ill.; brother, Kurt (Mary); and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Craig.

Interment was private. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel.

Patrick Nelson

Graveside service for Philip J. Nelson, 60, Coon Rapids, took place June 6 at Lakewood Cemetery. Rev. James Donald officiated.

Nelson died June 3, 2005 at Mercy Hospital. He was born May 30, 1945 in Minneapolis and was a teacher.

He is survived by his wife, Suzann; sons, Eric (Bonnie) and Brett; grandchildren, Kaelan, Kelsey and Emma; and brother, Peter.

Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Susie Stueve

Memorial service for Susie E. Stueve, 48, Anoka, took place June 4 at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Stueve died May 28, 2005 after a seven-year battle with a brain tumor.

She is survived by her husband, Michael; son, Justin; daughter, Cami; parents, Harold and Elaine Brown; brothers, Bob (Paula), Gerry (Sue), Nell; sister, Nancy Vandenberg; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws.

Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel.

Patrick Talbot

Funeral service for Patrick James Talbot, 40, Anoka, took place May 17 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Anoka. Rev. Michael A. Van Sloun officiated.

Talbot died May 14, 2005 in Anoka. He was born July 30, 1964 in Minneapolis to Warren Talbot and Dorothy Johnson and was a landscaper.

He is survived by his daughter, Heather; fiancee, Terri Willprecht; mother, Dorothy Talbot; brothers, Michael, Tom (LeAnn) and Tim (Kathie); and extended family members, the Heil family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Warren Talbot.

Interment was private. Arrangements were by Gearhart Anoka Funeral Home.

Stanley Tull

Memorial service for Stanley W. Tull Jr., 75, took place June 2, 2005 at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Tull was the former owner of Tull Bearing Company and The Sports Division.

He was a member of the Anoka Masonic Lodge, Selim Grotto and Grotto Clowns, Cardinal Kampers, Blockheads and Clowns of America Alley 19.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy; daughter, Kathleen; son, Stanley III (Pat); grandsons, Andrew and Michael (Jolene); sister, Patricia Lloyd; niece, Lynn Hovind; and other relatives and many friends.

Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Theodore Walchessen

Memorial service for Theodore J. Walchessen of Tucson, Ariz., and formerly of Anoka, took place June 4 in Tucson. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Aug. 2 at St. Stephen's Church, Anoka.

Walchessen died May 29, 2005. He was born on Nov. 18, 1927 in Trenton, N.J. He was a Merchant Marine veteran from World War II. He was a member of the foreign service and met his wife when both were posted in Hong Kong. Walchessen retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He served on the Anoka Planning Commission in the 1970s and was active in the Minneapolis Model A Club.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Barbara Horejs Walchessen; children, Tom and Anne (Walchessen) Simpson, Tim and Nora (Walchessen) Huete, Paul and Marta (Walchessen) Tanaka, Mary (Walchessen) Horejs, and Edward and Sharon Walchessen; 12 grandchildren: Maureen and Tommy Simpson, Will, Ethan and Anastasia Huete, Tyler and Joey Tanaka, Rose and Connie Filippell, and Patricia, Sophia and Julia Walchessen; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Anna (Doenitz) Walczysyn; brothers, Joseph Walchessen and Mike Walczysyn; and sisters, Genevieve Gambone, and Mary 'Mame' Smith.

Janis Yaggy

Funeral service for Janis J. Yaggy, 55, Palisade, took place June 9 at Sorenson-Root-Thompson Funeral Home, Aitkin. Rev. Dallas Smith officiated.

Yaggy died June 3, 2005. She was born Feb. 1, 1950 in Waterloo, Iowam to Bernard and Mabel Yaggy.

She is survived by her daughter, Dana Yaggy of Palisade; mother, Mabel Yaggy of Palisade; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dennis Eugene (Tiny) Yaggy of Cambridge, Duane Edward (Marianne) Yaggy of Aitkin and Tim James Yaggy of Palisade; sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie Delight (Jerry) Johnson of Waterloo, Iowa; Dana's father, Ken Woody; 13 nieces and nephews; and othe relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bernard; and brothers, William and Robert Owens.

Arrangements were by Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home, Aitkin.

Douglas Buxton

Funeral service for Douglas Gene Buxton, 55, Champlin, took place June 15 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Chapel, Anoka. Rev. Liane S. Rock officiated.

Buxton died June 12, 2005 at his home. He was born April 7, 1950 in Washington D.C. to Bruce Otis and Elizabeth Louis (Mitchell) Buxton. He was a computer engineer at North American Membership Group.

He is survived by his sons, Bryan, Nicholas, Shayne and Dustin; grandchildren, Michael, Danicka, Victoria and Brett; parents, Bruce and Elizabeth Buxton; sister, Eileen Buxton; brothers, Bruce (Kathy) Buxton and Clifford (Alma) Buxton; special friend, Beth Mika; and many family and friends.

Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home.

Donald Hagen

Funeral service for Donald Richard Hagen, 81, Roseville, formerly of Coon Rapids, took place June 11 at Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids. Rev. Jim Martin officiated.

Hagen died June 7, 2005 in Roseville. He was born Dec. 8, 1923 in Minneapolis to Carl and Marie Hagen and was a retired mechanic.

Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Home.

John Lerdahl

Funeral service for John Kenneth Lerdahl, 44, Coon Rapids, took place June 10 at Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids.

Lerdahl died June 4, 2005 in Coon Rapids. He was born Sept. 18, 1960 in Riverside, Calif., to Kenneth and Jacqueline Lerdahl and was employed in sales.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Ann (Hagen); son, Matthew Thomas Lerdahl; parents, Jacqueline and Kenneth Lerdahl; brothers, Robert (Mayra). David (Julie); sister, Linda (David) Bergeron; sisters-in-law, Ruth (Paul) Fonstad, Janet (Abdel) Boudlali; brother-in-law, Tom (Becky) Hagen; aunt, Lavonna Lerdahl; and nieces and nephews, Rachel, Hannah, Jamilia, Sarah, Gabrielle, David, Isabella and Carissa.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alfred and Grace Lerdahl and John and Charlotte Goff.

Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Home.
