Robert Annoni

Funeral services for Robert B. Annoni, 64, Burns Township, took place Aug. 2 at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Annoni died July 29, 2004. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the Korean War and a 35-year employee of United Electric.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; daughters, Jona (Larry Krein), Dana (Keith) Laniel, Gina (Kevin) Holmbo; grandchildren, Anna, Autumn, Lucas; special niece, Heather Kilbride; special family members, Erikka and Michael Carter; mother, Marguerite; sisters, Donna (Hamlin) Nelson, Phyllis (Thomas) Benigas, Melody (Rodney) Carlson; brothers, Tony (Cece), James (Kathy); sister-in-law, Ruth; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Anthony; and twin brother, Richard.

Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel.

Marcella Buhr

Funeral services for Marcella A. Buhr, 69, Blaine, took place Aug. 4, 2004 at Peace Lutheran Church, Coon Rapids.

She is survived by her husband, Dave; children, Lou Ann Cameron (Lester) and their children Marcy and David, Charles David (Carol) and their children Megan Hawkinson (Tim) and Clinton, Linda Kay Hollister (Leslie) and their children Jeremy (Kristen) Dougherty and Tabitha; great-granddaughter, Summer; and brothers, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother; father; stepmother; four brothers and one sister.

Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Evelyn Granstrom

Funeral services for Evelyn Violet Granstrom, 92, Dayton, took place Aug. 1 at Anoka Covenant Church. Rev. Ted Nordlund officiated.

Granstrom died July 27, 2004 in Golden Valley. She was born July 7, 1912 in Fargo, N.D., to Carl and Lydia (Peterson) Iverson and was a retired exec-utive secretary at Hoffman Engineering.

She is survived by her children, Carolyn (Don) Hansen, LeRoy (Lois), Richard (Julie) and Shirley (Ron) Hamilton; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John.

Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.

Philip Hocker

Funeral services for Philip A. Hocker, 56, Isanti, took place Aug. 3, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Isanti. Rev. Jose Edayadiyil officiated.

Hocker died July 29, 2004 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. He was born April 18, 1948 in Springfield, Mass., to Robert and Muriel Hocker. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War as a surgeons technician. He worked as a hospital operating room technician for 25 years in Seattle, Wash., then as an operating room technician at Mercy Hospital.

He is survived by his father, Robert of Isanti; brothers, Bob of Barellan Point, Australia, John of Kenai, Alaska, Dave and his wife Sue of Wasilla, Alaska, Dan of Chaska; sisters, Karen Tommerdahl and her husband Skip of Oak Grove, Debbie Frazier of Anchorage, Alaska; and by other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Murial; and sister, Mary.

Pallbearers were Gary Adams, Pat Ausmus, Greg, Larry and Tom Brueshaber and Tony Carter. Honorary pallbearer was Melody Ausmus.

Interment was in Isanti Union Cemetery. Arrangements were by Strike Funeral Home - Isanti Chapel.

Leland Johnson

Funeral services for Leland (Lee) Johnson, 79, Bethel, took place Aug. 4, 2004 at Bethel Community Church. Rev. Michael Sullivan officiated.

Johnson died Aug. 1, 2004 at the Cambridge Health Care Center. He was born May 14, 1925 in Royalton Township to Fred and Gertrude Johnson. He served in the U.S. Navy in World War II and was employed by the Union Oil Company in St. Paul for 28 years.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce of Bethel; children, Stephen (Sharon) Johnson of East Bethel, Timothy (Becky) Johnson of Ogilvie, Rick (Cheri) McManners of Shakopee, Elaine (Mick) Olson of Ogilvie, Carol (Randy) Rice of Winona, Mary (Scott) Jones of St. Francis; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Pat (June) Johnson of Clearbrook; sister, Alda (John) Desoto of Brooklyn Park; and many other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers were Dan and Matt Johnson, Scott Jones, Rick McManners and Luke and Mick Olson.

Interment was in Graceland Cemetery at Ogilvie. Arrangements were by Strike Funeral Home - Isanti Chapel.

Helen Kantorowicz

Funeral services for Helen (Sugie) Kantorowicz, 64, Deerwood, formerly of Coon Rapids, took place Aug. 4 at Epiphany Catholic Church, Coon Rapids. Mass will also take place at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Deerwood, Friday, Sept. 10, 8:30 a.m.

Kantorowicz died July 29, 2004. She was born Oct. 22, 1939 in Black Eagle, Mont.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel; children, Daniel (Patti), David (Sheri), Vicki Parsons and Jodi (Dan) Sursheim; grandchildren, Christopher, Dustin, Joseph, Alexandra; sister, Carol; stepsisters, Jeanne Kantorowicz and Jackie Johnson; and children, Steve Frank and Toni Jo Zahara of Great Falls, Mont.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Nicholas; mother, Helen; father, Walter; stepfather, Chester; and brother, Wally.

Interment was private. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Robert Moseman

Funeral services for Robert D. Moseman, 72, Fridley, took place Aug. 2 at Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids. Rev. Philip N. Boe officiated.

Moseman died July 29, 2004 in Fridley. He was born May 21, 1932 in Hibbing to Donald and Pearl Moseman. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 10 years, then was a machinist for Onan for 25 years and for Greif Brothers Corp. for 10 years.

He is survived by his wife, Esther; son. John (Heidi) Moseman; stepson. Jesse (Kim) Power; grandson, Corey Jon Kuntz Moseman; granddaughter, Cassandra Rose Power; brothers, Roger (Betty) Moseman; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Pearl Moseman; sister, Carol Christianson; and brother, Lawrence Moseman.

Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids.

Wayne Smith

Funeral services for Wayne Leroy Smith, 64, Coon Rapids, took place Aug. 2 at Church of the Epiphany, Coon Rapids, and graveside services took place Aug. 5 at Woodlawn Cemetery, Winona.

Smith died July 30, 2004 at North Memorial Residential Hospice, Crystal. He was born Feb. 1, 1940 to George and Charlotte (Glubka) Smith in Winona. He was retired after working 33 years at the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

He is survived by his wife, Judy; sons, Jeff (Jill) of Ramsey and Brent of Coon Rapids; grandson, Carter; brothers, Donald of Rochester and Gary of Rochester; and sister, Sharon Nelson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Charlotte Smith.

Pallbearers were Jeff, Brent and Rick Smith, Greg and Mike Dzwonkowski, Chris and Kevin Creeley and Eric Hythecker.

Interment was at Woodlawn Cemetery. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Gladys Warne

Funeral services for Gladys I. Warne, 65, Coon Rapids, took place July 29 at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids. Rev. Warren Lightbody officiated.

Warne died July 25, 2004 at Mercy Hospital. She was born July 13, 1939 in Brooklyn Center to Horace and Margaret Perkins and was employed in housekeeping.

She is survived by her husband, Marvin; children, Kevin. Kari (Paul), Todd (Jenny); grandchildren, Skylar, Sheyenne and Dalton; and many relatives and friends.

Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel.

Zetta Ziegler

Funeral services for Zetta P. Ziegler, 84, Princeton, formerly of Anoka and Champlin, took place Aug. 4 at St. Edward's Catholic Church, Princeton.

Ziegler died July 31, 2004 in Princeton. She was born March 12, 1920 in Forest Lake to Mathew and Josephine (Parenteau) Hauble. She worked as a nurse at the Anoka State Hospital and at Federal Cartridge.

She is survived by her children, Michael (Judith) of Princeton, Peter (Margurite) of Faribault, Anne (Charles) Bedbury of Dayton, Linda (Paul) Bauer of Hill City, Mary (Mark) Henrichs Busch of St. Cloud, Mark of Waite Park, and Susan (Bob) Juliano of Las Vegas, Nev.; 16 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; sisters, Audrey Brown of St. Paul and Rita Tetrault of Forest Lake; and brother, Joe Hauble, DeBorgia, Mont.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Romuald; brother, David Hauble; and sisters, Elaine Hauble, Louanna Prue, Angelic Solem, Alice Anderson.

Interment was at Baldwin Cemetery, Princeton. Arrangements were by Williams-Hanson-Kaun, Princeton.

Arvid Anderson

Funeral services for Arvid Carl Anderson, 92, St. Francis, took place Aug. 9 at Nowthen Alliance Church. Revs. Robert Morton and Maurice Russell officiated.

Anderson died Aug. 5, 2004 at Grandview Christian Home, Cambridge. He was born March 17, 1912 in St. Paul to Carl Gustav and Elizabeth Kristine (Orenson) Anderson and was a retired farmer.

He is survived by his sons, Arlin (Pat) Anderson, Larry (Joyce) Anderson, Randy Anderson; daughters, Debbie (John) Wiseman, Cheryl (Randy) Gerdin; 19 grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Judy Anderson; brother, Rudy Jensen; sisters, Ellen Thompson, Marion Coffey, Sylvia (Lloyd) Williams; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by his wife, Fern.

Interment was at Lakeview Cemetery, Nowthen. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.
