Funeral services for Patricia 'Patti' Jerde, 55, Blaine, took place Aug. 11 at Church of the Epiphany, Coon Rapids. Rev. Patrick Kennedy officiated.

Jerde died Aug. 7, 2004. She was born Jan. 26, 1949 in Minneapolis.

She is survived by her son, Brad; mother, Dorothy; sister, Kathie Burmeister (Bob); brothers, Rick (Nancy), Geary (Michele) and Jim (Linda); and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Walter; and daughter, Jillien.

Pallbearers were Rick, Geary and Jim Jerde, and David, Darell and Doug Walch.

Interment was at Gethsemane Cemetery. Arrangements were by Washburn McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Janis Klasons

Funeral services for Janis 'John' Klasons, 53, East Bethel, took place Aug. 15 at Constance Evangelical Free Church. Rev. Randy Discher officiated.

Klasons died Aug. 9, 2004 at Unity Hospital. He was born June 9, 1951 in Lubecox, Germany, and was self-employed in construction.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer; daughter, Elena; parents, Konrads and Alise; brothers, Andy (Chris) and George (Beth); and nieces and nephews, Erik, Kelly, Missy, Jekabs, Alise and Brandon.

Interment was in the church cemetery. Arrangements were by Washburn McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Lynda Larson

Funeral services for Lynda Gayle Larson, 47, Anoka, took place Aug. 14 at Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids. Rev. Mitch Bankes officiated.

Larson died Aug. 11, 2004 in Coon Rapids. She was born Oct. 9, 1956 in Grand Forks, N.D., to Kenneth and Maxine Garves and worked in the medical field.

She is survived by her husband, Steven; daughter, Jennifer (Randy) Swenson; son, Aaron (Connie) Larson; grandsons, Alex and Gavin Swenson; parents, Kenneth and Maxine Garves, Kenneth and Betty Larson; brothers, Michael (Debi), Robert (Lisa), David (Lisa); sister, Julie; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Arrangement were by Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids.

Mary Yocus

Memorial services for Mary A. Yocus, 74, Anoka, formerly of Isanti, took place Aug. 12 at Strike Funeral Home - Isanti Chapel. Rev. Valerie Brown-Greenly officiated.

Yocus died Aug. 7, 2004 at Twin Rivers Care Center in Anoka. She was born Nov. 20, 1929 in St. Paul to Russell and Olga Seath.

She is survived by her son, John and wife Janice of Los Angeles, Calif.; brother, Bob Seath and wife Phyllis of Coon Rapids; sister, Dorothy Barta and husband Robert of Rock Hill, S.C.; granddaughter, Laura; special friend and niece, Donna Thoe of East Bethel; many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Olga; husbands, John and Frank; and sisters, Barbara Ward and Eleanor Anderson.

Bradley Amundson

Funeral services for Bradley J. Amundson, 16, Champlin, will take place today (Friday, Aug. 27) at Eternal Hope Lutheran Church, Brooklyn Park. Rev. Roger K. Dramstad will officiate.

Amundson died Aug. 22, 2004. He was born July 12, 1988 in Coon Rapids to Bruce and Joni Amundson and was a student at Champlin High School.

He is survived by his parents, Bruce and Joni; brother, Ben; sisters, Jennifer, Jesi and Jo-Jo; grandparents, Don and Patsy Clow, Jerome and Evelyn Amundson; great-grandmother, Elsie Meier; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Interment will be at Champlin Cemetery. Arrangements are by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.

Deborah Edwards

Funeral services for Deborah S. Edwards, 40, Eau Claire, Wis., formerly of Anoka, took place Aug. 24 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Anoka. Rev. David Blume officiated.

Edwards died Aug. 20, 2004 at her home. She was born July 22, 1964 in Minneapolis to Merle and Eileen Mevissen.

She is survived by her children, Danna Franczak, Gregory III and Garrett Edwards; parents, Merle and Eileen Mevissen; brothers, John, Tom and Al Mevissen; and many other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers were Gregory III and Garrett Edwards, Joe Church and John, Tom and Al Mevissen.

Interment was at Calvary Cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.

Martin Erickson

Funeral services for Martin O. Erickson, 73, Sturgeon Lake, took place Aug. 19 at Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids. Chaplain Peter Riola officiated.

Erickson died Aug. 15, 2004 in Coon Rapids. He was born Nov. 26, 1930 in New Brighton to Olaf and Agnes Erickson and was a truck driver.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; daughter, Linda (Dan) Borkenhagen; son, Bruce (Sue); grandchildren, Brandon (Cheryl), Stacy (Tom), Nikki, Katie, Robert; three great-grandchildren; brother, Robert (Myrtle); and sisters, Mable Knapp, Eva Haluptzok, Likkian (Don) Peterson and Ethel (Arlie) Hagman.

Pallbearers were Bruce and Ron Erickson, Dan and Brandon Borkenhagen, Tom Brewer and Lynn Engmark.

Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Home.

Betty Hawkins

Funeral services for Betty Lou Hawkins, 77, Chaska, took place Aug. 24 at Gearhart Anoka Funeral Home. Rev. James Martin officiated.

Hawkins died Aug. 22, 2004 in Shakopee. She was born June 7, 1927 in Minneapolis to Albert Oswald and Amanda Erickson and was a nurses aid.

She is survived by her husband, Jim; daughters, Diane (Dale) Nyman and Debbie Adams; stepdaughter, Jan (Wallace) Dummer; stepson, Gus Hawkins; grandchildren, Christopher, Karin, Daniel, Wendy and Kathy; and three great-grandchildren.

Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Gearhart Coon Rapids Funeral Home.

John Henderscheid

Funeral services for John G. Henderscheid, 68, Coon Rapids, took place Aug. 24 at St. Timothy's Catholic Church, Blaine. Rev. Harry Tasto officiated.

Henderscheid died Aug. 20, 2004 in St. Paul. He was born Jan. 13, 1936 in Minneapolis to William and Clara Henderscheid and was a heavy duty truck parts salesman.

He is survived by his wife, Barb; children, Joel (Dana), Joan (Dennis) Jaeger, John W., James (Lynda); grandchildren, Joel (Amanda), John (Ann), Ryan, Michael, Nicholas, Donald (Anya), Jennifer (Kurt), Dustin (Jamie), Jon and Jaycee; great-grandson, Carter; sisters, Marilyn (Dudley) Switzer, Gloria (Cecil) Mortensen; brother, Dale (Joan); and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jeff; parents, William Sr. and Clara; and brother, William Jr.

Pallbearers were Joel, John and Dustin Henderscheid, Jennifer and Donald Jaeger and Jon Basher.

Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids.

Jerold Jorgenson

Funeral services for Jerold Ernest Jorgenson, 72, Coon Rapids, took place Aug. 20 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Anoka Chapel. Bishop Rich Bahn officiated.

Jorgenson died Aug. 16, 2004 at Mercy Hospital. He was born Jan. 10, 1932 in Ledyard, Iowa, to Ernest Belmont and Emily Marjorie (Barnes) Jorgenson and was retired from the city of Coon Rapids.

He is survived by his wife, Elgene; daughters, Melissa (Michael) Ouellette of Coon Rapids, Theresa (Robert) McLean of Cambridge; six grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; brothers, Jim (Dorothy) Jorgenson of Afton, John Jorgenson of Montana, Dick (Charlotte) Jorgenson of Wisconsin, Loren Jorgenson of Belgrade; sisters, Cathy (Neahl) Johnson of Idaho, Linda (Dave) Schmid of California; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Emily Jorgenson; brother, Dennis Jorgenson; and sister, Darlene Burgess.

Pallbearers were Richard, Troy, Jim, John and Loren Jorgenson, Michael Ouellette and Andy McLean.

Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.

Marion LaSalle

Memorial services for Marion Dorothy LaSalle, 73, Anoka, will take place today (Friday, Aug. 27), 11 a.m., at Zion Lutheran Church, Anoka. Rev. Timothy G. Johnson will officiate.

LaSalle died Aug, 20, 2004 at Anoka Care Center. She was born June 28, 1931 in Bemidji to Vern Eli and Dorothy Irene (Patterson) Chadwick and was a retired career resource aide at Coon Rapids High School.

She is survived by her husband, Donald; daughters, Christine (John) Sather of Ramsey, Cathryn (Rick) Gillispie of Coon Rapids; grandchildren, Ryan (Ashley) Sather, Claire Sather, Grant Sather, Cayla Gillispie, Sara Sather, Ricky Gillispie; and sister, Joan (Joseph) Forbes of Bemidji.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Maxine Radke.

Interment will be private. Arrangements are by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.

Joseph Lehn

Funeral services for Joseph Lawrence Lehn, 75, Shoreview, formerly of Coon Rapids, took place Aug. 19 at Church of the Epiphany, Coon Rapids. Rev. Dennis Zehren officiated.

Lehn died Aug. 15, 2004. He was born Oct. 3, 1928 in Dayton Township and was a sales representative for Coca Cola Co. for 35 years. He founded and led as Scoutmaster Boy Scout Troop 317 for 15 years.

He is survived by his wife, Delores; sons, Tim (Sheryl), Bob (Cindy), Tom (Marsha), Jack (Cheryl), Danny (Colleen), Joe (Carole); grandchildren, Jenny (Steve) Denning, Colby, Sarah, Ellie, Krista (Brett) Laskos, Tiffany, Mandy (Noel) Jabbour, Jeffrey, Theresa (Galen) Altman, Michael, Nick, Emily, Allison, Daniel, Andrea, Mark, Greta, David, Marta, Katherine, Anna, Ian; and great-grandchildren, Justin, Odin, Tyr and Rachel.

Interment was at Epiphany Cemetery. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.
