Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend of many, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2014 after a short journey with cancer. preceded in death by parents, Margaret and Henry Lockwood; siblings, Norven Lockwood; nephews, Rocky and Terry; niece, Kathy, and great nephew, Dustin. He will be lovingly missed by his wife of 44 years, Mary; children, Jennifer Galkowski, Keith (Melody), Chad (Natalie); grandchildren, Leslie and Josh, Andy, Alex and Ben, Anna and Lilly; sisters, Maurine (Walt) Holzworth, Doris (Lowell) Goss, Janet (Harold) Pflughoeft; sister-in-law, Judy; brothers, Robert (Kay), Darwin (Carol), and Melvin; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends. Don worked at Dunn Blacktop for 26 years, retiring in 1995. He enjoyed many years at Prairie Island campground, driving his golf cart around to pick up a conversation and a few dollars from a round of 15. He was the kindest, kindest, kindest man ever, always a kind word for anyone/everyone, and putting others’ needs before his. Memorial Service at 1:30 on Sunday, April 13th at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church 151 East County Road 42 Burnsville, MN 55306. Followed by a Visitation/Luncheon at 2:30 in the common area. Memorials preferred to Our Lady of Peace Hospice, St. Paul, MN or Good Shepherd Lutheran.

Age 98 of St. Paul, MN Died on Thursday, April 3, 2014 He was born on December 2, 1915 in Beacon Falls, CT to emigres from Belarus/Austral-Hungary. In 1950, he married
Mildred Johnsen Yermakoff in NJ, where they lived together for 50 years. Serge spent his early career building aircraft during WWII and later as a technical specialist for NCR. Serge is preceded in death by his wife; parents, Simon and Anastasia; and brother, Edward. He is survived by his children, Nanci (John Frost) and Jeannee (Dan Talsma). A private celebration of his life will be held in St. Paul, MN on April 19, 2014.

Age 65 of Hudson, WI. passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family and dog Scout, on April 2nd after a battle with cancer. He is survived by his beloved family including Sheila Earley; his children, Matt Flynn (Gretchen) and Andy Flynn (Jennette); sister, Dorothy Tacheny; sister-in-laws, Jeanette Flynn and Valerie Flynn; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kylie, Jonah, and Erimae Flynn; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Doris Flynn; brothers Don and Joe Flynn; brother-in-law Stan Tacheny; nephew Mike Flynn, and dog Casey. Funeral and internment private. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Age 81. Born February 14, 1933, died at home on Sunday, March 23, 2014. A life-long resident of Minneapolis, MN, except for two years in the US Army, Buzz was the son of Mary and Chet Magnuson. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, JoAnn G. Magnuson; daughter, Jodi Ann Magnuson; son Jeffrey Dennis (Colleen Kelly); and granddaughters, Anya Magnuson and Talia Magnuson. Buzz, his father, and brother were all Twin Cities news photographers. Buzz was an award- winning St. Paul Dispatch and Pioneer Press photographer where he worked for 46 years. He was also a longtime old car enthusiast and an active member of the Minnesota Street Rod Association. See Sunday paper for full notice.
