Gilbert J. Regelin, 82, of Woodinville, Wash., died Saturday, July 8, 2000, at home.
Services are today in Bothell, Wash.
He is survived by his wife Helen; two daughters; one grandchild; brother Donald and wife Arlaine of Pittsburg, Penn.; and nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents Hermann and Rose Regelin.
He graduated from Holy Trinity High School, New Ulm, in 1936. He married Helen Gag on July 4, 1939 in West Bend, Iowa. He was employed by Cudday Packing Company, New Ulm, before moving to Washington state.
Roger Ulrich, 66, of Clearbrook, died Tuesday, July 11, 2000, at the North Country Regional Hospital.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, July 15, 2000, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Bemidji, with burial at the Bagley City Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday with a 7 p.m. prayer service at the Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley, and at the church, one hour prior to the service.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen of Clearbrook; mother, Bertha Ulrich of New Ulm; sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Mary of Clearbrook, Douglas and Jackie of Bagley, Dean and Janice of Clearbrook; daughters and sons-in-law, Joy and Gary Eck of Gonvick, Julie and Keith Roberts of Bemidji, Jennifer and Eric Kjensrud of Roosevelt; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lois and Norm Barrer of Nicollet, Margie and Roger Schultz of New Ulm and Karen and Dan Loose of Grayslake, Ill.; brother, Richard of New Ulm; 25 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He was born Nov. 1, 1933, in Bernadotte, Township to Albert and Bertha (Panitzke) Ulrich. He graduated from New Ulm High School in 1952. He attended the University of Minnesota Agricultural College. He married Kathleen Monson on Oct. 3, 1953, in Winthrop. They moved to Mankato in 1955 where he worked for an electrical contractor and General Electric.They moved to Prior Lake in 1959 where he worked for Thermo-King Corp. They bought a farm near New Prague in 1968. They moved to Bagley in 1975 where he farmed and was an electrician until retiring in 1995.
Sandra Schroepfer, 38, of Sleepy Eye, died Wednesday, July 12, 2000 at St. Marys Hospital, Rochester.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Sleepy Eye, with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 3-9 p.m. today and 7:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday at Sturm Funeral Home, Sleepy Eye. There will be a parish prayer service 8 p.m. and a Christian Mothers rosary at 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
She is survived by her husband, Michael; daughters, Jessica and Alyssa; parents, Merle and Elaine Schueler of Sleepy Eye; brother, Leon and wife Stephanie Schueler of Sleepy Eye; sisters, Sharon and husband Tom Mages of New Ulm, Suzanne and husband Allen Schumacher of New Ulm; grandmother, Florence Schueler of Morgan; sisters and brothers-in-law, Beverly and Lee Ibberson of Sleepy Eye, Jo Ann Houge of Madelia, Sue and Paul Conners of Sleepy Eye, David Schroepfer of Madelia, Randy Schroepfer of Sleepy Eye, and Joel and Marty Schroepfer of Sleepy Eye; and nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Albert and Sophie Sellner and Waldemar Schueler; mother and father-in-law, Darrell and Florence Schroepfer; and brother-in-law, Chuck Schroepfer.
She was born Dec. 11, 1961, in Sleepy Eye, to Merle and Elaine (Sellner) Schueler. She grew up in Evan, attending school in Evan and Sleepy Eye. She graduated from Sleepy Eye High School in 1980. She worked at Advertising Unlimited Inc. as a machine operator. She married Michael Schroepfer on Aug. 12, 1983 in Morgan. They lived in Sleepy Eye. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Sleepy Eye.
Clarence Moe, 89, of Springfield, died Wednesday, July 12, 2000, at St. John's Lutheran Home, Springfield.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Springfield, with burial in the Springfield City Cemetery.
Visitation is 4:30-8 p.m. today and 7:30-8:30 a.m. Saturday at Sturm Funeral Home, Springfield, and will continue one hour prior to services at the church Saturday.
He is survived by his wife, Hertha; son, Charles and wife Kathryn of Springfield; daughter, Kathryn and husband Stephen Bloom of Indianapolis, Ind.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Ida Anderson of Springfield; brothers, George, Norman and wife Gen, and Roy, all of Springfield; and sister-in-law, Grace Moe of Springfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Lewis and Arthur.
He was born Dec. 9, 1910, in Burnstown Township, Brown County, to Clarence and Maren (Sorum) Moe. He grew up and lived in Burnstown Township, attending rural schools in District 40. He married Hertha Penkert on June 1, 1935, in Springfield. He belonged to farm and fraternal organizations. He was a lifetime member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Springfield, where he served on the council and several committees.
Lorand Zuehlsdorf, 81, of Franklin, died Thursday, July 13, 2000, at Bethesda Pleasantview Nursing Home, Willmar.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Franklin, with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Eden Township.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Nelson Funeral Home, Redwood Falls, with a 7 p.m. parish prayer service.
He is survived by son, Gerald and wife Mary of Tomah, Wis.; daughters, Janette Krzmarzick and husband Ron of New Ulm, Mavis Hornick and husband Joe of Lake Park, Iowa, Diane Kiergaard and husband Tom of Redwood Falls, Marion Rothmeier and husband Ken of Evan, and Sara Duchene and husband Patrick of Sauk Centre; daughter-in-law, Peggy Zuehlsdorf of Lancaster, Wis.; 18 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Luckhardt of Redwood Falls; and brother, Clarence and wife Lucille of Bird Island.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Hazel; son Mark; daughter Judy; and a sister in infancy.
He was born Sept. 5, 1918, in rural New Ulm, to Emile and Marie (Schmitz) Zuehlsdorf. he grew up in Sleepy Eye, where he received his education. He farmed near Evan until the late 1960s. He moved to rural Franklin, where he did farm labor. He also worked as a farm laborer in Redwood and Brown counties, and he was involved in buying and selling cattle and horses. He married Dorothy Krenz. He later married Mona Rohlick. He married Hazel Spielmann on Dec. 18, 1972, in Brown County. She died May 4, 1991. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Wyat Deming, 6, of Evan, died Sunday, July 2, 2000 at Immanuel-St. Joseph's Hospital, Mankato.
Services are 1:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Evan, with burial in Prairieville Cemetery, Evan.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Saturday at Sturm Funeral Home, Sleepy Eye, and will continue Sunday one hour prior to services at the church.
He is survived by his parents, Wade and Cheryl Deming of Evan; sister, Cori; grandparents, Tom and Cindy Basmoen of Hanska, and Roger and Carol Deming of New Ulm; and great-grandmother, Ell Mae Wiborg of Hopkins.
He was born June 20, 1994, in New Ulm, to Wade and Cheryl (Basmoen) Deming. He lived in Evan and attended kindergarten at Sleepy Eye Elementary School. He was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Evan.
Ordell Antonsen, 81, of Hector, died Wednesday, July 12, 2000 at Rice Memorial Hospital, Willmar.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Hector, with burial in the Hector City Cemetery.
Visitation is one hour prior to services at the church Saturday.
Hughes Funeral Home, Hector, was in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by daughter, Patricia Miller and husband Barry of Springfield, Ill.; son, Gregg of Hector; grandchildren, Peter Miller of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Julie Boshardt of Chicago, Ill.; great-grandchild, Kristina Boshardt; sister, Ruth O'Neill of Mesa, Ariz.; and several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Virgil; sister, Helen; and a brother in infancy.
She was born Aug. 29, 1918, in Hector, to Rudolph and Wilhelmine (Schroeder) Schiro. She graduated from Hector High School. She married Virgil Grant Antonsen on April 14, 1944, in Hector. They lived in Hector, wintering in Hawaii. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Hector.
Edith Panitzke, 89, of Redwood Falls, died Wednesday, July 12, 2000, at Hennepin County Medical Center, Minneapolis.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Redwood Falls, with burial in the city cemetery.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today at Nelson Funeral Home, Redwood Falls, and will continue one hour prior to services at the church Saturday.
She is survived by her husband, August; daughter, Judy Peterson of Glencoe; grandchildren, Matthew of St. Louis Park and Nicole of St. Cloud; and sister, Elsie Cox of Redwood Falls.
She was preceded in death by son, Richard; infant daughter; brothers, Roy and Richard French; and sister, Helen Kepple.
She was born Nov. 9, 1910, in Sheridan Township, Redwood County, to Joseph and Rose (Maxa) French. She grew up on the family farm near Seaforth. She attended Seaforth Elementary School. She graduated from Redwood Falls High School in 1928. She worked as a waitress and cook at Ben's Cafe and McKay's Cafe. She later worked for the rural telephone company as an operator. She married August E. Panitzke on June 3, 1947, in Redwood Falls. They farmed in Redwood Township for 31 years before retiring and moving into Redwood Falls in 1978. In Sept. 1998 they moved to Johnson Park Place. She entered Wood Dale Nursing Home on April 15, 2000. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid.
Stanley C. Pietrowski, 82, died Saturday, July 15, 2000, at Wabasso Health Care Center.
A funeral Mass will be held on 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Wabasso with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church 5-8 p.m. Tuesday with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue Wednesday morning at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
Arrangements are handled by Nelson Funeral Service, Redwood Falls.
He was owner/operator of Stanley's "My Own Hardware Store" and Stanley's Funeral Service.
Lorance Geske, 67, of Wabasso, died Monday, July 17, 2000 at home.

Ruth Oswald, 95, formerly of New Ulm, died May 5, 2000, in Colorado Springs, Colo.
She is survived by son, Keith of Sedona, Ariz.; daughter, Shirley Panagini of Colorado Springs; sisters, Ellen Kilbey of Fort Worth, Texas, Winifred McDonald of Riverton, Wyo.; seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert.
She was born Aug. 2, 1904, in New Ulm to August and Anna (Dietz) Hummel. She graduated from New Ulm High School, Mankato Teachers College. She taught in rural Brown County.
Ella Niebuhr, 87, of Gibbon died Tuesday, July 18, 2000, at the Good Samaritan Center in Winthrop.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gibbon with burial in the Church Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in Gibbon and will continue one hour before the service at the church on Friday.
She is survived by her husband, Edgar Niebuhr of Gibbon; son and daughter-in-law, Brent and Susan Jaekel of rural Gibbon; granddaughters, Jessica Jaekel of rural Gibbon, and Nicole Rieke and her husband, Jeremy of Gibbon; great-grandsons, Michael Jaekel and Spencer Rieke; sisters, Zylpha Kramer of Gibbon, Nora Fletcher and her husband, William of Rapid City, S.D.; and a sister-in-law, Lyla Busse of Highmore, S.D. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Harry Jaekel; and a brother, Clarence Busse.
She was born on May 23, 1913, n Oshkosh Township, Yellow Medicine County, to Johann and Loma (Lueders) Busse. She married Harry Jaekel on Jan. 10, 1936, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gibbon. Later she married Edgar Niebuhr on Sept. 24, 1959, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gibbon. She worked as a bookkeeper for the Gibbon Creamery for 25 years and as a nurse's aide at the Winthrop Care Center for 10 years. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gibbon.

He is survived by his wife Olive "Ollie"; daughters, Jill and husband Erik Anderson of Hopkins, Lori and husband Gary Kruggel of Winthrop, Kristina and husband Lee Parkinson of Prior Lake, Beth and husband Michael Gaffney of Redwood Falls; son, David of Marshall; six grandchildren; brothers, Louie of Milroy, William and wife Audrey of Lamberton; and sister Lorraine and husband Melvin Hammerschmidt of Lamberton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters; and four brothers.
He was born Sept. 28, 1932, in Sheridan Township, Redwood County, to Emil and Anna (Kruse) Geske. He graduated from Wabasso High School in 1951. He served four years in the United States Navy. He attended Mankato State College, where he received his bachelor of art's degree in 1956, and his master's degree in 1968. He married Olive Wilson on June 2, 1957, in Wabasso. He taught school in Wanda for a couple of years, and was elementary principal in Wabasso from 1961-1988. From 1988-1992, he taught in Wabasso, retiring in 1992. He continued working as a substitute teacher in Wabasso. He was a member of Wabasso Lions Club, where he served as past Zone Chairman. He was a member of the Wabasso American Legion, where he served as past commander. He served on the board of Wabasso Public Library, Plum Creek Library System and SAMMIE. He was president of the Lutheran Brotherhood Branch.
