Conrad T. Stadick, 91, of New Ulm, formerly of Searles, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2001, at the Oak Hills Living Center, New Ulm.
Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Searles, with burial in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4 - 7 p.m. Thursday and 7:30 - 10 a.m. Friday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home, New Ulm. There will be a parish prayer service at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
He is survived by his sisters, Jennie Tauer, a resident of Divine Providence Community Home, Sleepy Eye, and Mary Waibel of New Ulm; brothers, Louis Stadick and John Stadick, both residents of the Winthrop Good Samaritan Center, Winthrop, Theodore Stadick and Benno Stadick, both of New Ulm, and Leo Stadick of Downers Grove, Ill.

Hazel M. Pratt, 77, of Redwood Falls, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2001, at North Memorial Hospital, Robbinsdale.
Services will be 11 a.m. today at First United Methodist Church, Redwood Falls, with burial in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens, rural Redwood Falls.
Visitation was 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, with a VFW Auxiliary service at 7 p.m. at Nelson-Martin Funeral Service, Redwood Falls.
She is survived by her husband Lewis Pratt of Redwood Falls; son Frank Pratt of Belview; daughter Morene and husband Steven Rohlik of Owatonna; brothers Clinton and wife Darlene Bliss of Sheldon, Iowa, Donald Bliss of Redwood Falls, Ervin Bliss of Seaforth and Gary and wife Lorna Bliss of Redwood Falls; sisters Mary Lou Burtzel of Redwood Falls and Bernice and husband Rolland Shemon of rural Wabasso; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was born May 7, 1924, to Gay and Leona (Schaffer) Bliss of Redwood Falls. She married Lewis Pratt on May 24, 1944, in Redwood Falls.

Mae M. Stelljes, 84, formerly of New Ulm, died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2001, at Pelican Valley Health Center Nursing Home, Pelican Rapids.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home, New Ulm, with burial in the Lutheran Cemetery, New Ulm.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. until the time of services Thursday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral
Home, New Ulm.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Dee Stelljes of Fergus Falls; three grandsons; and six great grandchildren.
She was born May 3, 1917, in New Ulm, to Joseph and Martha (Spelbrink) Kosek. She married Harold "Bugga" Stelljes on Aug. 9, 1942, at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm.

Marguerite Runck
NEW ULM--Marguerite Runck, 94, of rural New Ulm, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2001, at the Winthrop Good Samaritan Center in Winthrop.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at United Church of Christ in New Ulm, with burial in New Ulm City Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday at United Church of Christ, and one hour prior to services at the church Friday.
She is survived by husband Harold Runck of rural New Ulm; sons Richard and wife Barbara Runck of rural New Ulm, Alan and wife Helen Runck of White Plains, N.Y., and Willis and wife Kristine Runck of rural New Ulm; and eight grandchildren.
She was born June 28, 1907, in Milford Township, Brown County, to Herman and Anna (Wiedenmann) Pfaender. She married Harold Runck on Feb. 16, 1935, on the family farm in Milford Township, Brown County.

Dwayne Welch, 57, of Vesta, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2001, at First Christian Residence Nursing Home, Minneapolis.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Nelson-Martin Funeral Home, Redwood Falls, with burial in Redwood Falls Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday at Nelson-Martin Funeral Service, Redwood Falls.
He is survived by his brother Harlan and wife Marty Welch of Indianapolis, Ind.; sisters Joyce Ahrens of Redwood Falls, Maxine Welch of Redwood Falls, Carol and husband Myron Fixsen of Wabasso, June Kuehn of Redwood Falls, Patricia and husband Orlo Steffen of Mankato, and Susan and husband Dean Como of North Mankato.
He was born Dec. 17, 1944, in Vesta, to Joseph and Geneva (Johnson) Welch. He served for the two years in Army at Ft. Benning, Ga.

Raul Anduaga, 13, of Redwood Falls died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2001, in a car accident near Belle Plaine.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today at Nelson-Martin Funeral Home, Redwood Falls; and continues one hour before services Friday at the church.
Services are 4 p.m. Friday at St. Catherine's Catholic Church, Redwood Falls, with burial at a later date.
He is survived by his mother, Delfina De La Garza of Redwood Falls; brothers, Juan Anduaga, Alex Anduaga and Hugo De La Garza, all of Redwood Falls; sister, Tere Omtvedt of Redwood Falls; grandmother, Evangelina Barrera of Piedras Negras, Mexico.
He was born Feb. 20, 1988, in Piedras Negras, Mexico, to Delfina De La Garza.

Marie Falk, 99, of Madelia, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2001, at Luther Memorial Home, Madelia.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Butterfield Mennonite Church with burial in Mountain Lake Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today and 7:30-9 a.m. Friday at Sturm Funeral Home, St. James.
She is survived by daughters, Marian Eineke of St. James; Minnie Quiring of Englewood, Colo.; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was born Feb. 23, 1902, to John Sr. and Helena (Bushman) Fast in Butterfield Township.

Loretta Giese, 96, of Culver City, Calif. and formerly of New Ulm, died Dec. 25, 2001.
Services are Friday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Fountain Valley, Calif.
She is survived by daughters, Lois Schrader of Bethany, Del., Donna Litwinawcz of Terrytown, La., and Eva of Culver City, Calif; and sister, Olivia Schulz of Sleepy Eye.
She was born April 17, 1905, in Milford Township, Brown County to Anton and Mary Henle.

Arthur S. Schroeder, 89, formerly of Fairfax, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2001, at St. Marys Hospital, in Rochester.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church in Fairfax, with burial in the Bethel Cemetery in Cairo Township, Renville County.
Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Friday and 7:30-8:30 a.m. Saturday at the Hauser-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Fairfax as well as one hour before services at the church on Saturday.
He is survived by sons, Virgil Schroeder of Owatonna, Keith Schroeder of Comfrey; daughters LaVon Funck of Sun City, Ariz., Diane Nelson of Peoria, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Morris Schroeder of Fairfax; and sister, Mavis Hjulberg of Brooklyn Park.
He was born April 17, 1912, in Bandon Township, Renville County, Minn., to Carl August and Selma (Mundahl) Schroeder.

Mabel Kathryn Nelson Severson, 90, of Alexandria, died Jan. 2, 2002, in Lamberton.
Services are 11 a.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Walnut Grove with burial in the Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Jacobson Funeral Home in Walnut Grove.
She is survived by her husband, Leonard Severson; sons, Wallace Nelson of Lamberton and Gary Nelson of Palm Desert, Calif.; daughter, Shirley Schafer of Sioux Falls, S.D.; sister, Vivian Gertjejansen; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was born March 20, 1911, in Walnut Grove to Abel and Amanda (Jernell) Anderson.

Olga Voecks, 91, of 221 South Jefferson in New Ulm died Monday, Dec. 31, 2001 at the Meriter Hospital in Madison, Wis.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm with burial in the Lutheran Cemetery in New Ulm.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday and from 7:30-9 a.m. Saturday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm and will continue for one hour prior to the time of service at the church on Saturday.
She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Naomi and Reverend David Plocher of Marshall, Wis., Garda and William Stanis of Muskego, Wis.; a daughter-in-law, Marie Voecks of Mundelein, Ill.; seven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Aldonna Ulichny of Milwaukee, Wis.; and sisters-in-law, Ruth Ulichny Wagner of Milwaukee, Wis., Louise Ulichny of Phoenix, Ariz. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Professor Victor F. Voecks in 1973; her son, Michael Voecks in 1997; brothers, Arthur Ulichny and Karl
Ulichny; and a sister, Ruth Miller.
Olga was born on Dec. 17, 1910 in Cudahy, Wis. to Michael and Martha (Schrank) Ulichny. She graduated in 1928 from Wisconsin Lutheran High School in Milwaukee, Wis. and then graduated in 1932 from the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wis. On August 6, 1932 she married Reverend Victor F. Voecks in Cudahy, Wis. They moved to New Ulm in 1932 and she worked at the New Ulm Hobby Shop for many years. She was a fifty-year and founding member of the New Ulm Community Concert Association where she held the position of General Manager as well as served on the Board of Directors of the association and was a charter member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran church in New Ulm and was the first president of the Ladies Aid at church.

Adelheid 'Ahdee' Biermann, 90, of Winthrop and formerly of Gibbon, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2002, at the Winthrop Good Samaritan Center.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Zion Lutheran Church in Winthrop with burial in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery in Moltke Township, Sibley County.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in Gibbon and will continue at church for one hour prior to the time of service on Friday.
She is survived by her sons, Lester Biermann of Livonia, Michigan, and Leonard Biermann of Winthrop; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters Veronica Wuertz of Hayfield, Marie Burk of Belle Plaine, and Eunice Kroeger of New Ulm; brothers, the Rev. Gerhard Bode of Muskogee, Okla., and Roland Bode of Saginaw, Mich.
She was born Nov. 27, 1911, in Willow Creek Township, Blue Earth County to Henry C. and Maria (Friederich) Bode.

Catherine Eckert, 99, of Mankato and formerly of Gibbon died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2002 at Mankato Lutheran Home.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Willibrord's Catholic Church in Gibbon with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 7:30-10 a.m. Wednesday at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in Gibbon. There will be a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ludowese of Hutchinson; sons, George Eckert of Mankato, Joseph Eckert, M.D. of Mankato, and William "Bill" Eckert of Gibbon; 21 grandchildren; 40 great- grandchildren; sisters, Clara Lawrenz of Gaylord, and Sister Laura Corcoran of Rochester; and brother, Bart Corcoran of Arlington.
She was born on Aug. 28, 1902, in Green Isle to James and Margaret (Hunt) Corcoran.

Adela Wohlrabe, 92, of Springfield, formerly of Nicollet and Truman, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2002, at St. John Lutheran Home, Springfield.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church, Springfield, with Dr. David Preuss officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 7:30-8:30 a.m. Wednesday at Sturm Funeral Home, Springfield and Wednesday at the church, one hour prior to the service.
Adela is survived by her daughters, Betty Kietzer of Menomonie, Wis., and
Phyllis and husband Delphin Ulrich of Hayward, Wis.; step sons, Dr. Donald and wife Faye Wohlrabe of Morris and Richard and wife Shirley Wohlrabe of Deer River; a stepdaughter-in-law, Shirley Wohlrabe of Edina; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Adela was preceded in death by husbands Fred Mau in 1952 and Dr. Ed Wohlrabe in 1994; stepson, Dr. Robert Wohlrabe; three sisters; and one brother.
Adela Wohlrabe was born June 5, 1909, in Nicollet to William and Helena (Kranz) Bode. She grew up in Nicollet, marrying Fred Mau on Nov. 28, 1929. They moved to Amboy, living there until 1952.
Following Fred's death, Adela moved to Truman where she married Dr. E.J. Wohlrabe on June 4, 1960. She joined him in Springfield and lived there since that time. Following his death, she moved to St. John Lutheran Home.
She was a long-time member of Zion Lutheran Church, Springfield and the Lutheran Missionary Women's League, Springfield Hospital Auxiliary and St. John Lutheran Home Auxiliary.
She enjoyed knitting, ceramics, traveling, crocheting and baking.

Irene Goblirsch, 51, of rural Wabasso, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2002, at Redwood Falls.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Our lady of Victory Catholic Church in Lucan with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today with a 7 p.m. prayer service at the church and continues one hour prior to the services Wednesday.
Arrangements are handled by Redwood Valley Funeral Home, Redwood Falls.
She is survived by her mother, Lois O'Fallon of Hutchinson; husband, Robert of Wabasso; sons, Joseph Goblirsch of Wabasso, Edward Goblirsch of Marshall, Gary Goblirsch of Wabasso; daughters, Bobbi Zeug of Marshall, Laura Goblirsch of Marshall; brothers, Mark O'Fallon of Buffalo, Gary O'Fallon of Silver Lake; sister, Lorraine Peterson of Dassel; and two grandchildren.
She was born Feb. 18, 1950, in Hutchinson to James and Lois (Manthei) O'Fallon.
