Josephine M. Hofschulte, 85, of Mazeppa, MN, died Saturday, April 8, 2000 at Our Lady of Angels Care Center in Cannon Falls, MN.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 12 at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Mazeppa, MN, with Rev. Richard Engels celebrating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Prigge, Harold H.
Harold Prigge, born October 13, 1928, died Wednesday, March 29, 2000 at a nursing home in Ladysmith, WI. His cremains were buried at St. John Cemetery, Lewiston, MN.

Osborne, Allan L. Sr.
Allan L. Osborne Sr., 94, of Winona, died Sunday, April 9, 2000 at the Watkins Home.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 12 at Immanuel Methodist Church.

Myers, Stanley W.
Stanley William Myers, 76, of Bangor, WI, died Friday, April 7, 2000 at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center, LaCrosse, WI.

Funeral services were Monday, April 10 in Bangor, with Stanley's son, Bruce William Myers officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Cataract, WI

Rybarczyk, Erwin J. "Rivits"
Erwin J. "Rivits" Rybarczyk, 86, 709 East Third St., died Monday, April 10, 2000 at his home.

He was born February 14, 1914 in New York City, NY. He married Bernadine M. Michalowski. He has one child.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Thursday, April 13 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church with preliminary services at 10:30 a.m. at Watkowski-Pronschinske Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery with military rites provided by the VFW.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home with a Christian Wake Service at 8 p.m.

Lubinski, Anthony Roman
Anthony Roman Lubinski, 84, of 517 Harriet Street, passed away Monday, April 10, 2000 at Community Memorial Hospital, Winona.

Anthony, known as Tony, was born June 10, 1915 in Winona, to John J. and Jeannette (Kosidowski) Lubinski. He married Leona Mae Roach on June 12, 1937 in Winona.

Tony was a butcher for Swift & Co., and then worked at the College of Saint Teresa until his retirement in 1978. He had been a resident of the Sauer Memorial Home for the past eight years.

Tony was a member of the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart and one of its past ushers, and was a past member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed his rose garden, golfing and bowling.

Tony is survived by his wife, Leona; a son, Robert (Sandra) Lubinski of Fountain City, WI; a daughter, Jean Ann Lubinski of Winona; three grandchildren, Letitia Lubinski of Chandler, AZ, Laurie (Russell) Stewart of East Dubuque, IL, and Robyn Lubinski of Holmen, WI; three great-grandchildren, Laan, Grace and Donovan Christainson of East Dubuque, IL; and a sister, Phyllis (Richard) Carney of Sioux Falls, SD.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Janet Mae Lubinski, and one brother, Frank.

The Funeral Liturgy will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 13 at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart with Father John M. Sauer officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday and after 12:30 p.m. Thursday, at Fawcett-Junker Funeral Home. Preliminary services will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Jandt, Jeffrey Jandt, David Barnewitz, Jim Jenkinson, Bob Jenkinson and Gene Brink.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Sauer Memorial Home or to the donor's choice.

Fawcett-Junker Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Hass, Walter
Walter Hass, age 89, of 360 Lincoln St., Winona, died Monday, April 10, 2000 at Sauer Memorial Home.

Walter was born on August 5, 1910 in Wiscoy Township, Winona County, to Samuel and Ida (Mueller) Hass. He was baptized and confirmed in the Wilson Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church.

He was raised and farmed in Wiscoy Township. He worked for Armour Fertilizer, for Ralph Scharmer Construction, for Pinkerton's as a security guard, at Warner & Swasey, and at Community Memorial Hospital.

He married Linda Erdmann Prudoehl on July 29, 1953 at St. Martin's Parsonage.

He is a member of St. Martin's Evangelical Lutheran Church and a former member of the Winona Athletic Club.

He was a member of the building and construction trades union, was an avid gardener and loved to share his garden produce.

Survivors include his wife, Linda; four step-children, Elizabeth (Dennis) Lubinski, LaMoille, MN, Fred (Carole) Prudoehl, Winona, Mary (Walton) Haeussinger, Fountain City, WI, and Janet (Ronald) Nelson, Berlin, WI; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three nephews and two nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Funeral services will be Friday, April 14 at 1 p.m. at St. Martin's Evangelical Lutheran Church with Rev. Ronald Dommer officiating.Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at Martin-Myhre Funeral Home and on Friday at the church after 12 noon.

Casketbearers will be David and John Brand, Robert Bollman, Michael Prudoehl, Keith Haeussinger and Richard Nelson.

Memorials may be directed to St. Martin's Evangelical Lutheran Church or the donor's choice.

Martin-Myhre Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Fort, Kenneth W., Sr.
Kenneth W. Fort, Sr., 69, of Rt.1, Winona, died Wednesday, January 19, 2000 at his home.

Ken was born May 22, 1930 in Winona County to Peter E. and Margaret L. (Rossin) Fort. He married Darlene V. Allen on March 5, 1952 in Winona. She preceded him in death on February 3, 1997.

Ken owned and operated Ken's Sodding, retiring in 1993. He is a lifelong Winona County resident. He served in the Army Air Corp from 1947 to 1951.

Ken is survived by three sons, Kenneth (Maria) Fort, Jr., of Winona, and Stephen Fort and William (Deanna) Fort, both of Lewiston, MN; four daughters, Debbie (Keith) Janzow, Irene (Richard) Katula, and Jennifer Pagel, all of Winona, and Betty Zuccaro, Dubuque, IA; fifteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Peter Fort, Sr., of St. Charles, MN and John Fort and Roger Fort, both of Minnesota City, MN; and four sisters, Lorraine Mentgen, Susie (Joseph) Nienow and Betty (Richard) Sievers all of Winona, and Janet Gipe, Las Vegas, NV.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a grandchild, two sisters, Violet Erickson and Ethel "Tutie" Gibbs, and two brothers, Harold and Robert.

Funeral services were Friday, January 21 at Fawcett-Junker Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Hart of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, St. Charles, MN officiating. Spring burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Stockton.

Members of American Legion Post #9, Winona conducted militrary burial rites at the funeral home following the service.

Fawcett-Junker Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.
