DICKERSON
Rebecca Jane Dickerson, 65, Camdenton, died Jan. 8, 2000, at her home.
She was born March 10, 1934, in Princeton, a daughter of Frank and Jane Davis Wright.
She lived in Independence most of her life before moving to Camdenton 6 1Ž2 years ago. She was a vocalist and a classical pianist.
Survivors include: one son, Patrick Dickerson, Independence; one daughter, Sheyn Dickerson, Overland Park, Kan.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Allee-Reed Funeral Home, Camdenton. The Rev. Donald H. Young will officiate. Private burial will be in Fairley Cemetery, Princeton.
KLOEPPEL
Cornelius "Corny" Frank Kloeppel, 72, Marshall, formerly of Malta Bend, died Jan. 7, 2000, at Fitzgibbon Hospital, Marshall.
He was born Nov. 25, 1927, in Freeburg, a son of Peter and Bernadine Luebbert Kloeppel. He was married Oct. 31, 1963, in Miami, Okla., to Betty L. Olmstead, who survives at the home.
An Army/Air Force veteran of World War II, he worked for Quinn Concrete.
Other survivors include: two sons, Terry Kloeppel, Columbia, and Jim Kloeppel, Holts Summit; one daughter, Lisa Samson, Pittsburg, Kan.; two brothers, William "Bill" Kloeppel, Miami, Mo., and Cletus Kloeppel, Marshall; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Campbell-Lewis Chapel, Marshall. Nelson Weber will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery, Marshall.
Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday.
Memorials are suggested to Lighthouse Shelter or Marshall Senior Center.
LANGE
Gladys Irene Lange, 89, Belle, died Jan. 7, 2000, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born March 30, 1910, in Koenig, a daughter of Louis and Louise Gleck Mittelhauser. She was married Oct. 19, 1930, in Koenig, to Victor Lange, who preceded her in death.
She retired as a floor lady with International Shoe Co. in Belle in 1978. She was a lifelong member of Koenig United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: two sons, Leon Lange, Metamora, Ill., and James Lange, Belle; one sister, Alice Lange, Belle; and seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Koenig United Methodist Church. Barry Hoskins will officiate. Burial will be in Koenig Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 3 p.m. today at Sassmann's Chapel, Belle.
MALONE
Lloyd W. Malone, 78, Dixon, died Jan. 8, 2000, at Balanced Care, Dixon.
He was born Dec. 2, 1921, near Newburg, a son of Mike and Irene Wilson Malone. He was married Jan. 6, 1951, in Waynesville, to Lucille Erickson, who died June 17, 1995.
An Army veteran of World War II and Korea, he worked as a heavy equipment operator at Fort Leonard Wood. He was a member of Liesmann-Roberts American Legion Post 298, Dixon, and the VFW.
Survivors include: one son, Ron Malone, Dixon; one daughter, Nancy Doyle, Dixon; two brothers, Bob Malone, Jefferson City, and Jim Malone, Dixon; five sisters, Reba Wells, Crocker, Molly Smith, St. Louis, Charlotte Morgan, Waynesville, and Alta Parker and Linda Roberson, both of Dixon; four granddaughters and one great-grandson.
One son, Douglas Lloyd Malone, died in 1952.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Dixon. Burial with military honors will be in Seaton Cemetery near Dixon.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday and from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday.
MEYER
Joshua B. Meyer, 21, Hartsburg, died Jan. 7, 2000, as a result of injuries sustained in a traffic accident in Mexico, Mo.
He was born Feb. 20, 1978, in Columbia, a son of Wayne and Donna Day Meyer, who survive in Hartsburg.
He was a 1996 graduate of the Southern Boone County High School in Ashland. He was an art student for two years at Columbia College, transferring to the University of Missouri in the fall of 1999.
He was a film developer for One-Hour Photo Pro in Columbia. He was a member of Peace United Church of Christ in Hartsburg.
Other survivors include: his maternal grandmother, Fran Williamson, Littleton, Colo.; and his paternal grandmother, Louise Meyer, Columbia.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Robinson Funeral Home, Ashland. The Rev. Brian Crousore and John Yonker will officiate. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery, Cairo.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Monday.
Memorials are suggested to the scholarship program in the Art Department at Columbia College.
OSBOURN
Dr. Richard Alton Osbourn, 69, Fulton, died Jan. 7, 2000, at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia.
He was born March 18, 1930, in Washington , D.C., a son of Frederick L. Sr. and Anna E. Muir Osbourn. He was married Oct. 23, 1954, in Fulton, to Dorothy L. Maddox, who survives at the home.
He received his bachelor's degree cum laude from Westminster College and earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri. He belonged to Zeta Tau Delta, Phi Rho Epsilon and Skulls of Seven and was named in Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.
He served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was a family physician in the Fulton area for 30 years. After retiring, he was the medical review officer for the Callaway County Nuclear Plant for 10 years.
He was a member of Court Street United Methodist Church, Fulton, where he taught adult Sunday school. He also served as past president of the Fulton Rotary Club.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Susan Wiedenmeyer, Overland Park, Kan., and Lisa Blair, Prairie Village, Kan.; and two brothers, Joseph A. Osbourn, Martinsburg, W.Va., and Frederick L. Osbourn Jr., Harper's Ferry, W.Va.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Court Street United Methodist Church. The Rev. George Braden, the Rev. Raymond McCallister and the Rev. Gary Garrett will officiate. Burial will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or Court Street United Methodist Church.
PETERSEN
Leonard Petersen, 82, Gravios Mills, died Jan. 6, 2000, in Denver.
He was born Nov. 24, 1917, in Clinton, Iowa, a son of Louis and Nielsene Nielsen Petersen. He was married Nov. 24, 1942, to Maxine Swigart, who survives at the home.
A salesman for North Western Steel and Wire, he was a member of the Lutheran Church and Osage Community Elks Lodge 2705, Laurie.
Other survivors include: one son, Gregg Petersen, Gravios Mills; one brother, Carl Petersen, Des Moines, Iowa; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
One daughter, Donna Carlene Abbott, died Dec. 27, 1999.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Laurie. The Rev. James Lawley will officiate.
Her remains will be cremated.
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.
REITMEIER
Erma E. Reitmeier, 89, Osage Beach, died Jan. 7, 2000, at Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach.
She was born April 27, 1910, in Montreal, Canada, a daughter of Hector and Pamela Sabaran DuSault. She was married in 1944 to Walter Reitmeier, who died Nov. 22, 1970.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Lake Ozark.
Survivors include: two sons, Walter C. Reitmeier and Robert F. Reitmeier, both of Buffalo, N.Y.; one daughter, Pamela A. Bunch, Camdenton; one brother; one sister; and two grandsons.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. The Rev. Mike Wilbers will officiate. Inurnment will be later in Lake Memorial Garden Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. today at Hedges Funeral Home, Osage Beach.
SHERER
Fern Leone Sherer, 88, Fulton, died Jan. 8, 2000, at Callaway Community Hospital, Fulton.
She was born Aug. 12, 1911, in Hubbell, Neb., a daughter of George L. and Beulah Pearson Howard. She was married Oct. 3, 1931, in Carrollton, to Raymond E. Sherer, who preceded her in death.
A house parent at Missouri School for the Deaf, she was a member of First Baptist Church, Fulton, where she taught Sunday school.
Survivors include: one son, Tom Sherer, Fulton; one daughter, Marilyn Hoisington, Chapman, Kan.; one brother, George C. Howard, Parsons, Kan.; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
One great-granddaughter preceded her in death.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton. The Rev. Stephen Sowder will officiate. Burial will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today.
