Gloria J. Hutcherson, 64, of Bowling Green, passed away at her residence on Monday, October 5, 2009.
She was born on October 24, 1944 in St. Louis, Missouri, a daughter of Herbert and Elizabeth Sumpter. On May 25, 1991, she was married to Cecil Hutcherson.
Gloria attended school at Ritenour High School. She had a real love for her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Cecil Hutcherson of Hamlet, Ind.; one daughter, Elaine Biehl, of Troy; one son, Eric Biehl, of Gibson, Fla.; two brothers, Mark Sumpter, of Wright City and Gene Sumpter, of Troy; one sister, Linda Moore, of Eolia; six stepchildren: Blaine Hutcherson, Robert Hutcherson, Carla Lewis, Jeffrey Hutcherson, Larry Duncan and Lynn Duncan; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Friday, October 9, 2009 at the Kemper-Marsh-Millard Family Funeral Home / Troy Chapel.
Memorials may be made to the family of Gloria Hutcherson.
Arrangements under the direction of Kemper-Marsh-Millard Family Funeral Chapel; P. O. Box 222, Troy, MO.

David Piper, 53 of Pevely, Missouri, passed away on October 4, 2009 in DePaul Health Center in Bridgeton.
He was born November 2, 1955.
David is survived by three daughters: Amber Piper and fianc‚ Tim Bunton, of Foley, Tiffany Piper and Bianca Piper; one son, Dustin Barrow of Florida and one granddaughter, Abigail Piper.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
David worked as truck driver most of his life. His passion was building Choppers and was published in Hot Rider magazine. His dream was to become a member of Bikers Against Child Abuse and ride his Chopper on MacIntosh Hill Road were his daughter Bianca went missing on March 10, 2005 in honor of her.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions can be made to Amber Piper in care of Ingersoll Chapel for Funeral & Cremation Services, 211 Boone St. Troy, Missouri 63379.

Funeral service for Marion Eugene Angel, 71, of Troy, will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, October 10, 2009, at the Pitman Funeral Home, 1545 Wentzville Parkway, Wentzville. Burial will follow in the Laurel Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Angel died Oct. 5, 2009, at his his residence near Troy.
Born Sept. 8, 1938, in St. Louis, he was the son of Wilmer Otto Angel and Phoebe Angel (nee Martin). Survivors include his son, Kenneth Angel, of Troy; his daughter, Karen Steen and husband, Victor, of Columbia Falls, Mont.; his four sisters,
Darlene Davidson, of Wentzville, Eileen Baker, of St. Peters, Frances Eaton, of Chicago, Ill., and Brenda McCall, of Florissant.
Angel worked as a maintenance helper by Alco Controls in Maryland Heights. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 9. 2009, at the funeral home.
Memorials to the American Diabetes Association or Ducks Unlimited may be made in care of Pitman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 248, Wentzville, MO 63385.

Richard Monroe Berry, 72, of Blue Springs, passed away on Sept. 30, 2009, at his home. Private family services will be held at a later date. Mr. Berry will be cremated under the direction of Meyers Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the foundation at St. Mary's Medical Center for the Care Fund.
Berry was born on Dec. 25, 1936, in St. Louis, the second son of Paul W. and Norma F. (Lay) Berry.
He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He was united in matrimony to Dian (Baker) on Dec. 25, 1963 and together they enjoyed 45 years of marriage.
Berry was a farmer for the majority of his life and enjoyed the time he spent working outside. For the past 20 years, he was a painter and worked often with his son, David. He leaves behind his wife, Dian, of the home; his children, David Berry and wife, Nancy, of Blue Springs, Prudence Hinkle and husband, William, of Olathe, Kan., Dale Berry and wife, Hanh, of Independence; his siblings, Paul Berry and wife, Mary Lou, of House Springs, Don Berry and wife, Bonnie, of House Springs, Dale Berry and wife, Sharon, of O'Fallon and Sharon Lavy and husband, Hubert, of Silex; and nine grandchildren. Arrangements were entrusted to Meyers Funeral Chapel, Blue Springs, MO.

Abbey Lucille Cox, infant daughter of Derek and Jennifer Cox, passed away Sun., Oct. 4, 2009. She is survived by one brother, Drew; paternal grandparents, Mikel and Judy Cox; maternal grandparents, Ed and Joyce Scott; aunt, Tracey (Joe) Gallicchio of Philadelphia, Pa.; uncles, Eric (Angie) Scott and Corey (Shelly) Scott, both of Troy; and cousins, Breanna and Conner Scott. A memorial fund has been established at U.S. Bank. A memorial service will be planned at a later date.

Graveside services for Donna Lee Pendegraft, 62, of Fulton, formerly of Winfield, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, October 9, 2009, in St. Mary's Cemetery in St. Louis under the direction of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield. Michael Braband will officiate at the service.
Mrs. Pendegraft, 62, died Friday morning, October 2, 2009 at Columbia Healthcare Center in Columbia.
Born November 11, 1946, in Robertson, she was the daughter of William Fredrick and Mary Blossom Neely Braband. She was united in marriage on December 10, 1977, in St. Peters to Robert Joseph Pendegraft. She was a loving wife and mother.
Mrs. Pendegraft was a member of the VFW Post #5517 Ladies Auxiliary in Winfield.
Survivors include her beloved husband of almost 32 years, Robert "Bob" Pendegraft, of Fulton; two sons: Patrick Price, of Fulton, and Charles Price, of Missouri; one step-son, Robert A. Pendegraft and his wife, Jennell, of Arnold; one daughter, Malinda K. Waterson, of Fulton; one step-daughter, Linda Renfroe and her husband, Keith, of Sikeston; ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren. She also leaves three brothers: Charles Braband of O'Fallon, Michael Braband and his wife, Louise, of Troy, and William Neely and his wife, Charlotte, of Foley; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will greet friends at St. Mary's Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. Friday prior to the service.

Mrs. Joyce V. Pierce, 74, of Winfield, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2009, at the Lincoln County Medical Center, Troy.
Joyce was born on Feb. 27, 1935, in St. Louis to George and Henrietta (Collett) Hennicke. She grew up with two brothers, George and Joseph and one sister, Maryann. Joyce went by the nickname of "Sissy" to her siblings and parents. She later met and married her soulmate, Howard "Bill" Pierce Jr. They were wed in holy matrimony on April 29, 1961 in Centerville, Ill. They raised six children: Joe, James, Donna, Ray, Billy and Julietta.
She was an awesome woman of God and was a faithful member of the First Assembly of God Church in Troy. Surviving are her beloved husband: Harold "Bill" Pierce Jr., of Winfield; her children, James and wife Cynthia Sieve, of Marthasville, Donna Layton, of Winfield, Ray and wife Tina Sieve of Wentzville, Billy and wife, Vickie, Pierce of Winfield and Julietta and husband, Kraig Kurtz of O'Fallon; 20 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; her sister: Maryann and husband, Jim Hicks, of Spanish Lake; other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 9, 2009, at the First Assembly of God Church in Troy. Interment will follow in the Troy City Cemetery, Troy. The visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., Thursday, Oct.8, 2009 at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Troy.
Memorials may be made to the First Assembly of God Church, c/o the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Home.

Merrie Elisabeth Redden, age 60, lost her courageous battle with cancer on October 6, 2009, and is now lovingly embraced by her Lord and Savior.
I am survived by Herta Cronin Willingham and Glenn Willingham (mom/step-dad), Trish and Robert Walraven (daughter/son-in-law), Geoffrey and Dana Lumpkin (son/daughter-in-law), Cristi Stewart (daughter), Rian Cronin and Robert Cronin (brothers), Patricia Cronin and Leann Cronin (sisters), 7 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. I am also survived by my 'second family: Connie Redden and Ed "Pops" Talamantes, Jim and Debbie Redden, Byron and Shari Redden, Wyatt and Marcia Redden and my 'adopted' sister Patty and Jay Webb and all the nieces and nephews.
I want to mention some really special people who were my Christian family: John and Leslie Cowden, Brook and Sherl Hammond and Glenn and Vicki Erskine. You have given such peace, strength and love and I am thankful for those blessings.
Finally, I want to thank Keith and Mickey and all the people from The Medicine Shoppe and PDX. It was a pleasure knowing you.

Gale W. Stowers, 56, of Troy, formerly of Mexico, died at 3:15 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009 at Lincoln County Medical Center in Troy.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2009, at Arnold Funeral Home. Visitation was from 5-8 p.m. Monday, October 5, 2009, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Gale was born Nov. 15, 1952 in Mexico, the son of Glenn LeeRoy and Lillie (Saylor) Stowers. On April 16, 1994, in Vandalia, he married Amy Yager. She survives.
Mr. Stowers worked for Peski Freight Solutions. Gale was a 1970 graduate of Mexico High School and had served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed spending time with his two sons.
Survivors include his wife, Amy of the home; two sons, Justin (7) and Dylan (2) Stowers of the home; his mother, Lillie Reeves of Mexico; one sister, Sue Mullins and husband, Kenneth, of Benton City; and one brother, Wayne Stowers of Kansas City.
In lieu of flowers, the family strongly suggests memorials be made for the care of Gale's two sons, Justin and Dylan.

Timothy "Tim" Tanner, 47, of Hawk Point passed away suddenly at his residence on Monday, September 21, 2009.
He was born in St. Louis on August 1, 1962, a son of the late Earl C. and Carol L. Tanner.
Tim attended grade school at Buder Elementary and graduated from Laquey High School. He attended church as a child at United Pentecostal Church in Bridgeton. He took pride in his work for Discount Tire as a manager for the past 4 years.
He is survived by his children: Timothy James, Shawn Michael and Shannon Michelle all of Waynesville; five sisters: LaDonna Hausdorf and husband, John, of Missouri, Rhonda Triller and husband, John, of St. Peters, Charity Lopez and husband, Arturo, of Lebanon, Bethany Vicente and husband, Pablo, of Guatemala and Rebekah Arnold and husband, Bobby, of Phillipsburg; one brother: Patrick Tanner and wife, Pamela, of Bridgeton; two step-children, Erin and Alysha; aunt, uncle, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and many, many friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 9, 2009 at Harvest Tabernacle in Lebanon. Memorials contributions may be made to the charity of donor's choice in care of Kemper-Marsh-Millard Family Funeral Chapel; P. O. Box 222, Troy, MO, 63379.
