Many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his mother, Donna Coleman nee Limpert, and a brother, Phillip Coleman. He served in the US Army, 1967-1969. He loved to Hunt & Fish, being outdoors and four wheeling on his property.

He is the son of the late George and Ruby Jacobs nee Thompson. He served in the Army in Korea and received a Purple Heart a Bronze Star and a Silver Star.

Mervin Box has gone to be with the Lord. He was born March 1, 1941 in Bloomfield, MO. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Kathy (Fischer) Box. The two were married on April 14, 1962 and to this union created 4 children: Laura Forgue of St. Charles, Karen Rice of Warrenton, Kevin Box (Carrie) of Warrenton, and Nancy Shryock of St. Peters who have blessed them with 11 grandchildren; Chad, Katie, Melissa, Briar, Justin, Madison, Ryan, Colton, Katlyn, Jacob and Jordan. He is preceded in death by 1 grandson, Austin and 1 great-grandson, Hayden. Also by his father, Cleve, his mother, Dolly Mary, his 6 brothers and 3 sisters; Edward, Gerald, Alvin, Vernon, Hershel, Aubrey, Lorene, Grace, and Louise.
