Bob is survived by his loving wife, Dolores "Dode" Cook of Warrenton, MO, son, Jeffrey Hayden (Cathy) Cook of Bakersfield, CA, daughter, Lynn Marie (Joe) Gmeiner of Warrenton, MO, sister, Phyllis Gentry of Warrenton, MO, sister, Jewel Coleman of Warrenton, MO, grandson, Josh Gmeiner, granddaughter, Lindsey Cook, granddaughter, Landrey Cook. He is preceded in death by his father, William R. Cook, mother, Lillian Cook, and brother, William H. "Bill" Cook. Member of Iron Workers Local 396, Lions Club in Wright City for over 40 years, Pauldingville Masonic Lodge for over 50 years. Served in the Air Force during the Korean War and flew 55 missions over Korea as a gunner on a B26. Member of Wright City School District School Board and past president of the Wright City Khoury League. He was an alderman for the City of Wright City.

Mr. Thompson proudly served in the United States Air Force in Vietnam. He received many commendations and medals for his outstanding service.

He was employed for 30 years at General Motors and a member of UAW local 21.

She was employed by the St. Louis Globe-Democrat Newspaper for over 40 years as Executive Secretary to the publisher, George Killenberg. Florence enjoyed playing Pinochle and Bingo, enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
