MARBAKER
Norine H. Marbaker, 78, Jefferson City, died Feb. 27, 2000, at University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital and Clinics.
She was born Dec. 3, 1921, in Chicago, a daughter of Christian E. and Delia Dowd Hendricks. She was married Dec. 8, 1945, in Glendale, to William E. Marbaker II, who survives at the home.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Cathedral.
Other survivors include: one son, William E. Marbaker III, Jefferson City; one daughter, Christine Teipel, Schaumburg, Ill.; one sister, Geraldine Albrecht, St. Louis; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Cathedral. The Rev. Frederick J. Elskamp will officiate. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.

MOSS
Jim Moss, 75, Iberia, died Feb. 27, 2000, at his home.
He was born Aug. 19, 1924, in Iberia, a son of James and Lillie Ellen Russell Moss.
A Navy veteran of World War II, he was a life member of the DAV, Crocker VFW Post 4956, Military Order of the Cootie, American Legion Post 195, Crocker, and the National Rifle Association.
Survivors include one sister, Zella Rodden, Brumley.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Rekus Funeral Home, Iberia. Billy Claiborne will officiate. Burial, with military honors, will be in Bethany Cemetery, Crocker.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today.
DEETS
Services were today for Dudley C. "Pete" Deets, 54, Sunrise Beach, who died Feb. 26, 2000, at his home.
He was born Aug. 30, 1945, in St. Joseph, a son of Dudley G. and Audrey D. Snider Deets. His mother survives in Sunrise Beach.
He worked in the landscaping business.
Other survivors include one sister, Cindy Denk, Laurie.
Services were at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Homes, Laurie. The Rev. James Lawley officiated. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today in East Slope Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Riverside.
Arrangements are under the direction of Kidwell-Garber Funeral Homes, Laurie.
FOSTER
Wayne Foster, 94, Versailles, died Feb. 26, 2000, at Good Shepherd Care Center, Versailles.
He was born Oct. 17, 1905, in West Mineral, Kan., a son of Homer M. and Della Bryner Foster. He was married in 1942 to Hazel Williams, who preceded him in death.
An Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, he taught cadets to fly. He graduated from high school in Labette County, Kansas, and worked for the county road division. He moved to the Lake area in 1938 and worked making boats. He later was co-owner of a plumbing shop in Versailles. He owned and operated Versailles Metal Supply, semi-retiring in 1998. He built and maintained a wind directional pilot aide at Versailles airport.
Survivors include one brother, Homer Foster, Sedalia.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Versailles. Burial, with military honors, will be in Versailles Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Thursday.
Memorials are suggested to the Versailles Nutrition Site.
HASSELBRING
Willard John "Dutch" Hasselbring, 78, Osage Beach, died Feb. 27, 2000, at his home.
He was born March 6, 1921, in Milford, Ill., a son of William and Tena Casper Hasselbring. He was married Jan. 25, 1948, in Bushnell, Ill., to Nellie Jo Bonnett, who survives at the home.
A Navy veteran of World War II, he worked in customer service for Ozark Airlines for 25 years. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Osage Beach. He was a member of the American Legion, Chamber Active Volunteers, Lions Club, all in Osage Beach, and the Osage Beach VFW, where was a past commander.
Other survivors include: two sons, Kurt Hasselbring, Columbia, and Kris Hasselbring, Houston, Texas ; two daughters, Joy Beagles, Springfield, Ill., and Jane Locascio, Springfield; one brother, Robert Hasselbring, Milford, Ill.; one sister, Joyce Jones, Springfield, Ill.; nine grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Services will be at 6 p.m. today at Hope Lutheran Church, Osage Beach. The Rev. John Dautenhahn will officiate. Services also will be at noon Thursday at Bisch West Funeral Home, Springfield, Ill. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Springfield.
Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. today.
Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hedges Funeral Home, Osage Beach.
MEYER
Roger M. Meyer, 87, Clinton, formerly of Versailles, died Feb. 27, 2000, at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Clinton.
He was born June 18, 1912, in Jamestown, a son of Hugh A. and Gussie K. Klingeberger Meyer. He was married Oct. 6, 1934, in Sedalia, to Viola M. Jolly, who survives at the home.
He worked for the Postal Service and retired as assistant to the postmaster at Versailles Post Office. He was a member of Versailles United Methodist Church, where he sang in the choir. He was a Silver Beaver in Boy Scouts. He was a member of Gideons International and the Versailles Cemetery Association. He was on the Morgan County School Board, where he served as secretary, and was a charter member of the Versailles Kiwanis Club.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Mary Jo Cable, Clinton; two brothers, Don Meyer, Mariposa, Calif., and Hugh Meyer Jr., Brevard, N.C.; two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren.
One son, William A. Meyer, died Feb. 17, 2000.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Versailles United Methodist Church. The Rev. Gary DeWitt will officiate. Burial will be in Versailles Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6:30-8 p.m. today at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Homes, Versailles.
Memorials are suggested to Versailles United Methodist Church.
PETER
Rueben Henry Peter, 79, Eldon, died Feb. 27, 2000, at Good Shepherd Care Center, Versailles.
He was born July 27, 1920, in Sutton, Neb., a son of Henry P. and Kathrina Bettger Peter. He was married Aug. 4, 1940, in Goodland, Kan., to Ruby Irene Short, who survives at the home.
A former Avondale, Colo., resident, he worked for 28 years as a farm foreman and operated Rueben's Repair Shop, Kanorado, Kan. He was a leader of Grant Booster's 4-H Club, Kanorado, and a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, Eldon.
Other survivors include: one son, Jerald Duane Peter, Oakley, Kan.; one daughter, Sandra E. Meyer, Eldon; two sisters, Olinda Hess and Edna McClung, both of Goodland; one brother, Gilbert Peter, Tuscon, Ariz.; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
One son, Dennis Lee Peter, died April 25, 1998.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Bethany Lutheran Church. The Rev. Stephen Riordan will officiate. Burial will be in Eldon City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. Wednesday.
Memorials are suggested to Bethany Lutheran Church.

BARBER
Dixie Lee Barber, 48, Russellville, died Feb. 25, 2000, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born Dec. 23, 1951, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, a daughter of Forrest E. and Regina Johnston Barchenger. Her parents survive in Lake Villa, Ill. She was married Nov. 7, 1969, in Waukegan, Ill., to Bennie L. Barber Jr., who survives at the home.
A graduate of Grayslake Community High School in Illinois, she was a homemaker and member of Corticelli Baptist Church, west of Russellville.
Other survivors include: one son, Terry Alan Barber, of the home; two brothers Gerald Barchenger, Denver, and Kevin Randall Willenborg, Huntington Beach, Calif.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Friday at Corticelli Baptist Church. The Rev. Phillip Richardson will officiate. Burial will be in Enloe Cemetery, Russellville.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Russellville.
Memorials are suggested to Corticelli Baptist Church.
BROWN
Judy Brown, 72, Russellville, died Feb. 28, 2000, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born Aug. 25, 1927, in Jefferson City, a daughter of Cyrill and Hilda Bax Fisher. She was married Jan. 25, 1947, in St. Louis, to Ellis Brown, who died in May 1981.
She was a department store clerk. She lived in St. Louis most of her life before returning to Central Missouri.
Survivors include: one daughter, Marialena Dell, Russellville; one son, Darrell Brown, Eureka; two sisters, Carol Fletcher, Holts Summit, and Peggy Ousley, Russellville; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church. The Rev. Clarence Wiederholdt will officiate. Burial will be in Our Lady of the Snows Cemetery, Marys Home.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Phillips Funeral Home, Mary's Home, with a rosary at 7:30 p.m.
